Mannat 18th January 2026 Written Update: Vikrant’s Return Shakes Mannat, Fear Takes Over, and a Dubai Escape Is Planned
The episode opens on a light yet emotionally loaded moment as Dua and Mannat run together, laughing and chasing Vikrant’s kite. Dua’s excitement is infectious, and seeing her happiness, Vikrant quietly gives up the kite without resistance. From a distance, Yashika watches everything closely. She signals Yuvi to intervene, reminding him that today Vikrant has to read her message and stay distracted. Yuvi immediately creates a scene, emotionally pressuring Vikrant and demanding that he catch the kite. Unable to ignore Yuvi, Vikrant runs after it.
Fate steps in right there.
Mannat and Vikrant collide mid-run. The moment freezes. Mannat looks up and is left completely shaken to see Vikrant standing right in front of her. Years of pain, betrayal, and suppressed fear rush back in a single second. Before she can react, Dhairya receives a phone call. Dua excitedly tells him that Mannat went to get the kite. Dhairya says he will return soon after speaking to Roni.
Vikrant slowly approaches Mannat. Old memories flood both of them, heavy and unresolved. From afar, Yashika notices Mannat and panics. She hadn’t expected this. Her mind races as fear grips her. Mannat’s presence threatens to destroy everything she has carefully planned. She quickly orders Yuvi to snatch the kite and keep Vikrant occupied.
Dua senses the tension instantly. Without wasting time, she grabs Mannat’s hand and runs away with her. Vikrant watches them leave, stunned and confused, trying to understand why Mannat fled the way she did. The shock on his face says it all. He knows this wasn’t imagination. She was really there.
Yashika immediately switches tactics. She begins provoking Yuvi against Dua, filling his head with emotional complaints. Yuvi confronts Vikrant, accusing him of betrayal. He tells Vikrant that he shouldn’t have given the kite to Dua, that he failed him, that he lost his kite because of her. In his childish pain, Yuvi questions Vikrant’s love, saying that Vikrant always sacrifices for Dua and never chooses him.
Vikrant is quick to reassure him. He firmly tells Yuvi that nothing in his life matters more than him. Seeing this, Yashika finally relaxes. Her plan has worked for now. Vikrant promises to buy Yuvi gola, sealing the emotional truce. Yashika smugly thinks that at least Vikrant won’t chase Mannat now.
Elsewhere, Mannat is drowning in her memories. Vikrant’s betrayal replays in her mind like an old wound that never healed. Just then, Dhairya arrives. Mannat breaks down and hugs him tightly, crying uncontrollably. Alarmed, Dhairya asks her what happened. Mannat tells him the one truth she has been running from. Vikrant is back. And with him, the danger she thought she had escaped.
She tells Dhairya that Vikrant’s return will ruin her life all over again. Dhairya listens patiently and tries to steady her shaking world. He motivates her, telling her that they can protect Dua. He assures her that he will never let Vikrant come near Dua or uncover the truth.
Mannat’s fear deepens. She tells Dhairya that Vikrant once threatened her, saying he would send her parents to jail. That fear still controls her. She is terrified that Vikrant might snatch Dua away from her. Determination replaces panic as Mannat declares that she will never let Vikrant meet Dua. Under no circumstances.
Her voice trembles as she says the words she has been hiding for years. Dua must never know the truth. She must never find out that Dhairya is not her real father. She must never know that Vikrant is her biological father. Mannat believes that such a truth would shatter Dua completely. The thought alone breaks her.
Mannat makes a drastic decision. She tells Dhairya that she will take Dua far away from this place. Somewhere Vikrant can never reach them. She decides to take Dua to Dubai and says she will book the tickets immediately. Dhairya tries to calm her down, assuring her that he is with her and that she is not alone in this fight.
Meanwhile, Vikrant attends the event and meets Singhaniya. He introduces him to Jisthin and praises the event and the chef. Singhaniya compliments the food, impressed by the chef’s talent. Jisthin agrees to offer the chef a job.
That is when Vikrant hears the truth.
The chef is Mannat.
Vikrant stands stunned. The final piece falls into place. This wasn’t a coincidence. This wasn’t imagination. Mannat was really there, standing right in front of him earlier. Questions flood his mind. Why is she here? Why now? And what is Babaji trying to plan by bringing her back into his life?
The episode ends on Vikrant’s shaken realization and Mannat’s desperate attempt to protect her daughter at any cost, even if it means running away from her past forever.
Mannat 18th January 2026 Written Update Review:
This episode leans heavily on emotional tension rather than dramatic shouting, and that works in its favor. Mannat’s fear feels raw and justified, especially when it comes to protecting Dua. Her decision to run away instead of confronting Vikrant shows how deeply scarred she still is. Vikrant, on the other hand, is written as a man trapped between confusion, guilt, and unfinished emotions, making his realization at the end genuinely impactful. Yashika continues to play her manipulative game quietly, using Yuvi as a shield, which keeps the conflict layered rather than loud. Dhairya’s calm support balances Mannat’s panic, adding emotional stability to the narrative. Overall, the episode successfully sets the stage for an inevitable confrontation while keeping the mother-daughter bond at the center.
