Lakshmi Ka Safar 29th January 2026 Written Update: A Lost Baby, Jia’s Panic, and Lakshmi’s Heart Finds Its Missing Beat

The episode opens with Lakshmi calling Karan and asking him to wrap up his meeting and come home early. Karan agrees without hesitation. Lakshmi shares that she met her sister Mangal the previous day and finally understood how much pain she has endured in silence. She reflects that Mangal never wanted Lakshmi to feel sad, which is why she hid her suffering for so long. Lakshmi believes God sent her at the right moment, exactly when Mangal needed support the most. Karan listens patiently and says it is clear from Lakshmi’s words that Mangal has a strong fighting spirit and will overcome everything. He wishes happiness for Mangal, Lakshmi, and their entire family. After disconnecting the call, Lakshmi thinks to herself that just like Mangal must get rid of Sowmya, she too needs to eliminate Jia from her life.

Lakshmi soon finds Krish completely drunk and sees this as the perfect opportunity to expose him and Jia. She asks Dadi to watch a live video on the laptop that she plans to stream from her phone. Dadi agrees, unaware of what is coming. Lakshmi confronts Krish and directly asks why he and Jia are pretending to be married. In his intoxicated state, Krish reveals everything. He admits the marriage is fake and says Jia is helping him achieve his real goal, separating Lakshmi from Karan and taking her away for himself. Lakshmi warns him to stop dreaming and end his dirty games. When Krish tries to get close to her, she hits him with a vase and runs downstairs.

Lakshmi rushes to Dadi, asking if she saw Krish’s true face. When Dadi doesn’t respond, Lakshmi realises she has fallen asleep. At that moment, Jia appears and reveals the truth. She admits she gave Dadi a spiked drink, ruining Lakshmi’s plan to expose them. Jia taunts Lakshmi, claiming she can control Krish but not her. Lakshmi doesn’t back down and warns Jia that she has defeated her many times before and will do so again once she finds her weakness. Jia stays silent, but her expression reveals unease.

Later, Jia calls the ashram and asks if she can meet the baby. The woman on the call informs her that the baby is currently not at the ashram and that she will be notified once the baby returns. Jia anxiously asks where the baby has gone, but the call abruptly disconnects, increasing her panic.

Meanwhile, fate takes an unexpected turn. While driving, Karan notices a baby crying alone in a stroller on the road. Seeing no one around, he decides to bring the baby home. At the same time, Jia calls the ashram again and learns that the baby is missing and the staff is searching for her. Fear grips Jia as she realises that if the baby is found by the wrong person, all her secrets could come out.

Karan reaches home and calls Lakshmi, excitedly telling her that he has brought home a cute baby he found alone on the road. Lakshmi says she doesn’t see any baby on the sofa. Karan clarifies that it’s a very small baby and asks everyone to search carefully. Suddenly, the baby drops something on the floor, causing Jia to slip and fall. As Jia looks up, she notices the baby and asks whose child she is.

Lakshmi and Karan arrive and finally spot the baby. Lakshmi mockingly comments on how the baby managed to make Jia fall and lovingly starts playing with her. Karan wonders who could abandon such a small child and gently reassures the baby that she is safe now. Lakshmi feels an instant emotional bond with the baby and is surprised by how complete she feels holding her. Dadi notices Lakshmi’s happiness and comments on it warmly.

Karan reminds everyone not to get too attached, explaining that they will have to file a police complaint and the baby will eventually be taken away. Dadi playfully suggests that Lakshmi and Karan should have a baby of their own, making both of them shy. Meanwhile, Jia secretly calls the ashram again to identify the baby. The woman tells her that the baby has a birthmark on her right foot. Trembling, Jia checks and finds the exact same birthmark on the baby Karan brought home. Jia is left completely shaken, realising this child could expose everything she has been hiding.

The episode ends on Jia’s growing fear and Lakshmi’s unexplainable emotional connection with the baby.

Lakshmi Ka Safar 29th January 2026 Written Update Review

This episode beautifully blends emotional warmth with rising suspense. Lakshmi’s growing strength and clarity stand out, especially in her confrontation with Krish and Jia. The baby’s entry into the story feels symbolic, not just as a secret tied to Jia, but as an emotional anchor for Lakshmi. Jia’s panic is handled subtly yet effectively, hinting that her past is about to catch up with her. The episode moves the plot forward while deepening emotional stakes, making the baby track both tender and dangerous.
