The 50 2nd February 2026 Written Update: Ego Clashes, Flying Tempers, and When Sweat Turns Into Money
Day two inside The 50 palace proves one thing very clearly. The Lion may run the game, but the players are more than capable of self-destruction without his help. The episode opens with unfinished business from yesterday, and the mood is anything but calm.
Maxtern continues narrating his controversy story to Prince and others, trying to clear the air before it poisons his game further. He bluntly calls Elvish a real gangster and claims crucial parts of the conversation were never shown in the viral video. He admits the backlash pushed him into depression, which shifts the room’s energy for a moment. Prince listens carefully and shares his own fallout with Elvish, delivering a sharp line that sets the tone. Real men deal with problems alone, not with gangs. It’s less advice and more a declaration of how Prince plans to play.
The calm doesn’t last long. Prince soon clashes with Bhavya, accusing her of deliberately triggering him on her podcast. Bhavya fires back without blinking, saying she never praised him on his face and doesn’t owe him validation. The exchange is icy, controlled, and layered with old resentment, proving that microphones can leave scars deeper than tasks.
Trouble escalates when Maxtern confronts Rajat over ten lakhs transferred into his account. Rajat deflects, sarcastically calling Maxtern smart for recording the video. When Maxtern clarifies it was CCTV footage, Digvijay jumps in, and suddenly the argument becomes a three-way power struggle. Rajat bluntly states that expecting fairness at this stage of the game is foolish. Prince intervenes, saying everyone lost yesterday, which is why they landed at the bottom. Khanzaadi isn’t buying it. She openly calls the reasoning stupid and boldly says Vanshaj didn’t deserve elimination, Urvashi did, because her performance was weak. The line draws invisible battle lines across the room.
The players are then summoned to the arena, where the Lion reminds them why they’re here. Not for fame, not for ego, but to earn money for the fans who made them stars. Today’s task is deceptively simple. Burn calories, earn money. Sweat equals fan wealth, and entertainment equals joy for the Lion.
Teams are formed again, watches are strapped on, and the game begins. Team Blue kicks off with exercises. Team Red follows with running. Shiv dances, dragging his entire team into a dance workout that’s more vibe than strategy. Team Green jogs under Rajat’s lead. Neha coaches exercises, Krishna pushes jumping drills, and Nikki spices things up by suggesting kabaddi between men and women. Rajat agrees, clearly more interested in energy than discipline.
As the final minute approaches, the Lion gives them full freedom. Dance, jump, run, do whatever you want. The arena turns chaotic but joyful, until the watches are placed back and the fun evaporates instantly.
Digvijay casually calls Rajat’s team mad. Rajat snaps. He warns Digvijay not to disrespect his team. Digvijay shrugs it off, reminding Rajat that he stayed silent yesterday when abusive words were used. That’s enough to ignite Rajat. He loses control and pushes Digvijay, tearing his shirt. Chaos erupts as players rush in to separate them.
Rajat justifies himself, saying he shares history with Digvijay and expects respect if he gives respect. He issues a clear threat. Disrespect him, and face consequences. Shrutika immediately shuts that down, reminding everyone that physical aggression is unacceptable. Digvijay retaliates verbally, saying dumb people get physical, adding fuel to an already raging fire.
The aftermath lingers. Digvijay claims he was heading to the bathroom when Rajat lunged. Faisu asks Digvijay to step away. Chahat openly taunts those supporting Rajat, refusing to stay neutral.
Back inside the palace, lighter moments try to creep in. Shrutika jokes about ghosts haunting the massive palace. Karan teases her, joking that Nikki herself is the ghost. Nikki, already emotionally charged, spirals into frustration over Arbaz. She feels she understands him, but he never speaks up for her. When Arbaz calmly asks what he should say, Nikki explodes, reminding him that he’s also a player and not a shadow.
Later, Nikki breaks down, telling Arbaz she’ll play smart, independently, and without hiding behind anyone. Even if it leads to elimination, she won’t regret it. Arbaz listens quietly and tells her this is a survival game. Nikki worries about how her family will perceive her. Nearby, Chahat lashes out at Love Kataria for abusing her during a normal conversation, adding yet another layer of unrest.
The Lion finally intervenes. His verdict is clear and cold. Violence will not be tolerated in his palace. Only planning and plotting are allowed. He announces the points and warns that next time, consequences will be far more severe. His words trigger Karan, who storms off, declaring he didn’t sign up for this kind of environment and threatens to quit.
Digvijay echoes a similar sentiment, saying his family wouldn’t approve of this behavior. Rajat dismisses it as sympathy drama and accuses Digvijay of lacking basic respect. Chahat challenges Rajat directly, asking if he ever learned not to get physical. Rajat claims he won’t repeat the mistake. The Lion hears them all and exits, promising to meet them soon.
Bebika attempts damage control, urging Rajat to apologize. He refuses. Karan points out that this isn’t a fresh fight, but unresolved past baggage bleeding into the present game. Digvijay, surprisingly, agrees to move on for now, choosing peace over escalation.
The episode closes on a positive note as the Lion reveals the name of Prince’s fan who becomes a Lakpati, chosen randomly. The fan thanks everyone, momentarily reminding the players why they’re truly here.
The 50 2nd February 2026 Written Update Review
Day two of The 50 exposes its biggest strength and weakness at once. The format is fresh, the Lion’s authority is solid, and the fan-reward concept adds emotional weight. But unchecked egos threaten to hijack the narrative early. Rajat’s physical aggression is a red flag, while Digvijay’s sharp tongue keeps provoking sparks. Nikki emerges as emotionally vulnerable yet self-aware, and Prince continues to position himself as a moral anchor. The show feels intense, raw, and dangerously close to boiling over, which makes it compelling but also uncomfortable in places.
