Jhanak 7th February 2026 Written Update: Will Jhanak Choose Love or Fear as Rishi Pushes for Marriage?
The episode begins with a tense conversation between Rishi and Jhanak. Rishi asks her why she called him, and Jhanak immediately brings up Aditi. She asks whether he really thought about Aditi and whether he decided to divorce her because of her presence in his life. Rishi replies firmly that his decision is already made. He says the divorce will happen no matter what and asks Jhanak a direct question—whether she wants to stay with him or not.
Jhanak admits she is scared of the future. Rishi asks her what matters more to her: living with him or worrying about what others will say. Jhanak says both matter to her, which frustrates Rishi. He tells her to choose one, warning that if society’s opinions matter more, then their relationship will end right there.
Seeing his anger, Jhanak asks why he is reacting so strongly. Rishi says he is fighting for their relationship while she keeps hesitating. He asks her to decide clearly what she wants. Jhanak replies that she already stays with him in her heart. Rishi says he wants to live with her openly, in front of the world. After a pause, Jhanak agrees.
Rishi again asks her to be sure of her decision. Jhanak tells him she cannot reject him because of her love. Rishi then says he will take her to Simulboni and asks her to pack his luggage as well. Jhanak teasingly asks why he is behaving as if they are already married. Rishi smiles and says they will become husband and wife in the future, if not immediately. He hugs her, and the moment is filled with warmth and hope.
Their conversation turns more reflective. Jhanak tells Rishi she noticed he was hurt seeing Aditi with another man. Rishi admits Aditi was a good person but says she stopped trusting him under her parents’ influence and never explained anything about that man. He asks Jhanak to trust him and promises he will never break her trust. Jhanak then asks him to make sure his parents do not leave the house because of their decision. Rishi assures her he will convince them. He says he wants to keep talking to her and keep looking at her forever. Jhanak smiles and says she feels the same way. They share another quiet, affectionate moment.
Elsewhere, danger begins to stir. Ankush gathers his men and says that Jhanak’s marriage is the perfect time to strike. One of his men warns that Indranath may support Jhanak, but Ankush dismisses the concern and says he will not reveal his plan yet. His words hint at a looming threat.
Back at the house, tension continues to build. Indumati tells Abhimanyu that Tanushri has not eaten anything. Abhimanyu says Tanushri is in deep pain and no one understands what she is going through. Sanjhbati adds that Rishi is Tanushri’s only son, so her reaction is natural.
Tanushri enters and bitterly says it would not matter to anyone even if she died. She looks directly at Rishi while saying this and declares she will not eat anything in that house. The atmosphere grows heavy with emotion and accusation.
Abhimanyu accuses Rishi of destroying his mother’s life. He says first Aditi left the house, and now Tanushri refuses to stay. He questions why Aditi would remain with a man whose character is being questioned. Sanjhbati is shocked by his harsh words and asks him to stop, but Abhimanyu continues, accusing Rishi of roaming with Jhanak even before marriage and continuing the same behavior afterward.
Rishi defends himself and says Abhimanyu is insulting him only to gain sympathy for Aditi. Tanushri, however, says Abhimanyu is not entirely wrong, which deeply hurts Rishi.
Dritimaan then intervenes and questions why everyone treats divorce as something unforgivable. He asks why no one is thinking about Jhanak, who is about to become the daughter-in-law of the house. Tanushri refuses to accept Jhanak under any circumstances, while Sanjhbati insists it is Rishi’s decision and the family should support him.
Rishi declares confidently that he and Jhanak love each other and their marriage will definitely happen. Dritimaan announces that a priest will soon arrive, shocking Tanushri. She demands to know why she was not informed, and Dritimaan replies that it is because she opposes the marriage. Indumati asks Dritimaan to calm down, but he stands firm and even suggests that if the family cannot accept Jhanak, Rishi can move to the police quarters. He reminds everyone that Jhanak once saved both Dadabhai and Rishi, and he will not tolerate anyone insulting her.
Abhimanyu then taunts Jhanak, asking whether she plans to take money and leave after helping the family. Jhanak responds firmly that she is not greedy. She says if she were, she would have accepted Aniruddh’s money earlier. Tanushri sarcastically remarks that Jhanak has done them a great favor by refusing that money. At that moment, Aniruddh himself arrives and overhears the conversation.
Abhimanyu welcomes Aniruddh, and Aniruddh calmly announces that the divorce will be finalized the next day. He also reveals that he has already fixed Aditi’s marriage with a friend’s son. The announcement shocks everyone and leaves the room in stunned silence.
The episode ends with emotions running high and the future of several relationships hanging in the balance.
