Jhanak 10th February 2026 Written Update: Divorce Signed, New Storm Begins

The episode begins with Jhanak telling Rishi that his family does not like her and that she cannot be happy by making everyone else unhappy. She says she does not think they should marry if it means hurting the family. Rishi is stunned and asks what she is saying. Jhanak explains that she cannot become his wife when his family does not trust her and reminds him that she spoke the truth only to protect Aditi, yet no one cared. Neelu interrupts and accuses Jhanak of creating drama and manipulating everyone, but Jhanak firmly says she only spoke the truth.

Just then, Rishi receives an envelope from the court. Abhimanyu remarks that Rishi has stopped listening to anyone, while Indumati says he only listens to Jhanak. Rishi clarifies that the matter is between him and Aditi and asks why he cannot move on if Aditi has done the same. Indumati reminds him that Aditi moved on because of his actions. Jhanak asks Rishi to reconsider the divorce, but Putul advises her not to interfere, saying that one day the family will accept Jhanak wholeheartedly. Jhanak becomes emotional and hugs Putul.

Later, in her room, Jhanak breaks down in tears. Rishi comes to comfort her, and she tells him about Ankush’s attempt to kill her. Rishi is furious and says he will not spare Ankush, deciding to inform his team. Jhanak explains that Ankush planned everything carefully, choosing a place without CCTV cameras and using a bike with a fake number plate. Rishi reassures her that he will still take action and promises to protect her. Worried for his safety, Jhanak hugs him, showing how deeply she cares for him.

The scene shifts to the family court, where the judge asks Rishi and Aditi if there is no possibility of reconciliation. Aditi states clearly that she wants a mutual divorce. Rishi agrees, saying that if Aditi does not want to continue the marriage, it should end. Aditi becomes angry and accuses Rishi of lying, saying he wants a divorce only to marry Jhanak. The judge asks them to calm down.

Aditi then tells the court that Rishi betrayed her and hid the truth about marrying Jhanak earlier. She says she learned about it on her wedding day and felt deeply humiliated. The judge criticizes Rishi for his actions, and Rishi admits his mistake. He openly says that he loves Jhanak and wishes to remain friends with Aditi after the divorce, but Aditi refuses, saying she wants no connection with him. Rishi, hurt, remarks that perhaps Aditi no longer wants to stay in touch because he is a middle-class man, which angers her further. He also tells the judge that Aditi wants the divorce because she plans to marry her boyfriend. The judge asks them to sign the papers, and both Rishi and Aditi do so. Aditi tells Rishi that he will never be happy after betraying her, while Rishi sincerely wishes her well.

After the court proceedings, Dadabhai calls a priest to fix the wedding date of Rishi and Jhanak. The priest is surprised at how quickly the remarriage is being planned, but Dadabhai insists. Indumati arrives and firmly declares that she will never accept this marriage. Dadabhai tells her to step aside if she cannot support it.

Rishi and Jhanak are informed that the wedding date has been fixed. Rishi says he will arrange leave from work, while Jhanak hesitates, saying she is not fully happy because the family is not united and she has not even informed Parashar or the people from her village. Indumati mocks her village, calling them uncivilized, which upsets Jhanak, who defends them as her family.

A discussion then arises about Aniruddh. Dritimaan suggests giving him a chance, but Jhanak says she cannot trust him. Rishi supports her, though Sanjhbati says Aniruddh has changed after the DNA results and should be allowed to attend the wedding. Rishi agrees he has no objection. Indumati questions why Rishi cannot wait for his parents’ approval, but he replies that he has already decided to move on. Dritimaan remarks sadly that the house was never like this before, while Indumati blames everything on Jhanak and walks away angrily. Rishi reassures Jhanak that things will eventually become better.

The episode ends with the divorce finalized but new tensions rising within the family over the upcoming marriage.

Precap:
Jhanak tries to warn Aditi that Koushik is cheating on her, but Aditi angrily pushes her hand away, refusing to listen.
