Back at home, Karan waits impatiently, expecting Lakshmi to return with her proof. When Lakshmi returns home, exhausted and shaken, Karan stops her and asks what happened. She tells him everything—about the alert, the missing baby, and the garbage site. Before she can finish, she turns toward Jia again, demanding to know where her daughter really is.
At that moment, Karan reveals that the baby is with him. He explains that he heard the child crying and, seeing Swetha asleep, took the baby to comfort her. For a brief second, Lakshmi feels relief and gratitude, but the moment fades when Karan coldly says that he now believes she is only creating drama. He demands to see the proof she claimed to have.
Lakshmi suddenly remembers that she left the file in the room while speaking to Swetha earlier. She quickly retrieves it and presents it to Karan, explaining that it is Jia’s pregnancy report and that it will prove Jia gave birth to the baby. Her voice carries hope, believing the truth is finally within reach.
But the hope shatters instantly. Karan looks at the report and throws it into the air, saying the name on the report is Lakshmi’s, not Jia’s. Lakshmi stands stunned, unable to understand how the report could have been altered. The realization dawns on her that Jia has once again manipulated everything, but this time the trap is even more dangerous because the evidence itself has been changed.
