Mannat 16th February 2026 Written Update: Vikrant’s Demand Shocks Mannat. The episode opens on a spiritual note as the priest tells Mannat that Dua will change her destiny. The words linger in the air, leaving Mannat thoughtful. Dua, innocent and curious, immediately asks why the priest said something like that. Mannat admits she does not know, but deep inside she senses that life is slowly moving toward a turning point, even if she cannot yet understand how.
Elsewhere, tension brews among Aishwarya, Mallika, and Vishaka. Aishwarya grows restless and fearful, convinced that everything is slipping out of her control. She worries that Mannat might soon uncover her truth. Mallika tries to reassure her, insisting that Mannat will never allow Dua to participate in the cooking competition, and that alone will keep things under control. Vishaka adds confidently that she once separated Vikrant and Mannat for seven years and can do it again. She reminds them that Vikrant has already promised not to help Mannat.
Aishwarya, though, refuses to share their confidence. She bluntly tells Vishaka to stop dreaming and face reality. Her bitterness resurfaces as she recalls how she once believed she had won when Mannat disappeared from her life as a child. For twenty years she lived in comfort, but Mannat’s return destroyed everything, even sending her to jail. In Aishwarya’s eyes, Mannat is not just an enemy but a constant threat to her existence.
She admits she regrets burning her passport in haste, a desperate decision that now traps her in the city. For now, she decides the only way to stay safe is to remain hidden until Dua is disqualified from the competition. She orders Mallika to ensure that Dua is eliminated in the very first round. At the same time, Aishwarya reveals another plan. A party is being arranged at the Saluja mansion, and she intends to expose Yashika there. After suffering repeated defeats against Mannat, she is desperate to at least win this battle.
Mallika listens but cannot shake her own fear. She worries that Mannat’s presence might bring Vikrant and Mannat closer again, something none of them can afford.
Meanwhile, life continues to move in quieter ways. Bunty notices Dua’s poster and becomes excited, wanting to tell her about it. Before he can, Mannat arrives and takes Dua with her to the hospital to see Neetu.
At the hospital, reality hits hard. The doctor informs Mannat that Neetu’s condition is worsening rapidly and that surgery must be performed immediately. The news crushes Mannat, who already carries the guilt of losing the money meant for the operation. She feels as if fate is testing her patience and strength at every step. Dua, however, refuses to let her lose hope. With childlike faith, she encourages Mannat to pray and believe that things will improve. Mannat decides to pray for Neetu, holding on to whatever strength she can find.
Back at the Saluja mansion, Vishaka begins manipulating Vikrant again. She tries to convince him that Mannat is behind everything that has gone wrong. Vikrant, however, refuses to believe her. He admits that whatever mistakes happened were his own, not Mannat’s. His words reveal that despite everything, a part of him still understands Mannat’s sincerity.
Mallika tries a different tactic. She questions how Dua appeared at the photoshoot at exactly the right time, suggesting it was all planned. Vishaka pushes the idea further, insisting that Dua should not be allowed to participate in the competition at all.
Yashika, observing the conversation, senses an opportunity. Pretending to care about Yuvi, she joins in and suggests that Dua should not be selected. She knows Yuvi dislikes both Mannat and Dua, and she tries to use that to influence Vikrant. Vikrant, however, refuses to interfere. He states firmly that the selection is already finalized and cannot be changed.
Mallika shifts the topic to the upcoming party preparations, while Yashika grows anxious about another problem—she still has not arranged fake parents for the event. In panic, she suggests cancelling the party altogether. Mallika quickly opposes the idea, pretending to care about Yuvi’s happiness and persuading Vikrant to continue with the plan. Vikrant agrees, unknowingly allowing multiple hidden agendas to move forward under one roof.
At the hospital, Dua continues praying sincerely for Neetu’s recovery. Her innocence and faith create a peaceful contrast to the scheming elsewhere. Vikrant arrives there, and Mannat immediately becomes tense, fearing he might learn the truth about Neetu’s condition and everything that has happened.
In that moment, Dua notices her own poster and is surprised, still unaware of the storm this discovery could bring. Vikrant then turns to Mannat and makes a statement that leaves her stunned—he says that he wants Dua.
His words hang heavily in the air, filled with implications that neither of them is ready to face. Mannat realizes that the situation is becoming more complicated than ever, with the past, the present, and the future all colliding at once.
The episode ends on this tense note, leaving the question of Dua’s participation and Vikrant’s intentions unresolved.
Precap: Vikrant shows Dua’s poster to Mannat and says he does not know how Dua posed for it, but she must participate in the competition. Mannat firmly refuses, setting the stage for a major conflict ahead.
