Anupama 5th March 2026 Written Update: Vasundhara Fears Anupama’s Shadow, Holika Chaos Sparks New Suspicion
Today’s episode begins with Vasundhara expressing her deep love and concern for her newborn granddaughter. She tells Anupama that her fear is natural because the priest warned about danger around the baby. Vasundhara asks Anupama to imagine how she would feel if someone said similar things about her own child.
Hasmuk calmly responds that no one can escape God’s plan. Vasundhara agrees but insists that taking precautions never hurts anyone.
Rahi immediately defends Anupama. She tells Vasundhara that Anupama’s presence is auspicious, not dangerous. Prem also supports Anupama, saying she can never bring bad luck. Raja and Pari add that Anupama has always been lucky for their family.
Parag tries to calm the situation and reminds Vasundhara that the baby has her own destiny. Vasundhara says she understands everyone’s point of view, but fear for a child is natural.
Anupama listens quietly before speaking. She tells Vasundhara that she understands a mother’s fear and does not want to argue. However, the discussion slowly turns into a debate about astrology and destiny.
Finally, Anupama makes a painful decision. She decides to stay away from the baby for three days, just to respect the priest’s prediction and remove everyone’s fear.
Prarthana immediately objects. She says she cannot keep her baby away from Anupama even for three minutes. According to her, Anupama has never made a wrong decision for anyone.
Ansh also supports Anupama and tells Vasundhara that Anupama would never wish harm upon their child.
Prarthana takes the baby from Vasundhara and places her gently in Anupama’s arms. She says Anupama’s blessings are the most important for her child.
Anupama becomes emotional and blesses the baby while tears fill her eyes.
Later, Anupama tries to reassure Vasundhara. She reminds everyone that Holi is approaching and believes that God will protect the baby. She promises that the family will remain careful for the next three days as advised.
Still, Anupama cannot forget the frightening dream she had earlier. She silently vows that even if something happens to her, she will never let any harm come near the baby.
Elsewhere, Parag jokingly complains that only he and the baby reached the Holika ceremony on time. While walking, he accidentally ruins the rangoli.
Rahi immediately declares that no one will spoil the Holi celebrations. She playfully challenges Prem, who says he will not play Holi unless she applies the color of love first. Their playful conversation catches Prerna’s attention, and she smirks quietly.
Soon the Kotharis prepare for the Holika ritual. Leela asks Parag to hand the baby to her, but Parag refuses. Ansh also requests to hold the baby, but Parag insists he will not give the baby to anyone.
Meanwhile, Vasundhara secretly hopes that Anupama arrives late so the baby remains safe.
However, Anupama arrives at the ceremony and firmly asks Parag to give the baby to her. Parag jokingly says there is a long queue of people waiting. Anupama replies that the queue starts exactly where she stands.
Vasundhara again tries to stop Anupama from holding the baby, still haunted by the priest’s warning.
Elsewhere, Paritosh thinks about how Anupama’s growing popularity could help him financially. He hopes she becomes famous and starts earning more money.
During the Holika gathering, both the Shahs and the Kotharis discuss the story behind Holika Dahan. Hasmuk explains that the story teaches people to trust God’s plan and remain faithful during difficult times.
At the same time, Pari notices Prerna trying to create distance between Rahi and Prem. She warns Prerna to stay away and threatens to tell everything to Anupama.
Just then Anupama approaches them and asks what they are discussing. Prerna quickly lies and says Pari was just giving feedback about her cooking. Anupama senses something suspicious but does not push further.
Moments later, a shocking incident occurs. Rahi accidentally loses her balance and almost falls into the Holika fire while holding the baby.
Prerna suddenly rushes forward and saves Rahi.
In the chaos, Anupama also helps Prerna and ensures she is safe. She thanks Prerna for saving Rahi.
However, Vasundhara again blames Anupama, believing her presence brought danger.
Rahi becomes confused and asks Prerna how she suddenly ended up near the fire. Pari suspects that Prerna deliberately created the situation to appear heroic.
Rahi praises Prerna and calls her a good friend. Prerna cleverly says that the friendship between Rahi and Prem is very special.
Pari grows increasingly worried about Prerna’s intentions.
Later, Parag invites Anupama to join the Holi celebration and declares that no one will celebrate Holi without her presence.
Elsewhere, Leela asks Anupama when the baby will come to stay with the Shah family. Paritosh interrupts and says the baby belongs with the Kotharis. Kinjal, Leela, and Anupama immediately stop him from making such comments.
Leela then warns Anupama about Prerna, sensing something suspicious about the young girl. But Anupama chooses to trust Prerna and tells Leela not to worry.
Instead, she asks everyone to focus on celebrating Holi.
The episode ends with silent tension growing around Prerna.
In the precap, Rahi asks Anupama if she has seen Prem. Anupama goes looking for him and suddenly spots Prerna asking Prem to apply color to her first. The moment reminds Anupama of past betrayals involving Kavya and Maya. Rahi is left shocked seeing Prem and Prerna together.
