Jhanak 5th March 2026 Written Update: Jhanak Refuses to Help Rishi, Aditi Faces Harsh Truth
Today’s episode begins with Jhanak spending time with her friends as they discuss their future plans after exams. Jhanak quietly reflects on how people living in cities rarely find true peace in their lives. Feeling emotionally exhausted, she decides that after her exams she will take a break and return to Simulboni for some time.
While talking, memories of Rishi flash through her mind. Just then, Jhanak receives a call from Sanjhbati. Concerned, Jhanak asks what happened.
Sanjhbati reveals the doctor’s latest advice about Rishi’s condition. Dritimaan also joins the conversation and tells Jhanak that they need her help to restore Rishi’s lost memories. Hearing this, Jhanak is confused and asks how she could possibly help.
Sanjhbati explains the painful truth — Rishi has forgotten everything related to Jhanak.
This revelation deeply hurts Jhanak. She replies bitterly that Rishi forgot only her while still remembering Aditi. According to her, that clearly proves that Rishi never truly loved her. In her eyes, Aditi must have always been Rishi’s true love.
Dritimaan tries to correct her misunderstanding. He explains that Rishi’s memory loss is not limited to Jhanak alone. Rishi has even forgotten his own marriage with Sanjhbati.
Sanjhbati gently tells Jhanak that Rishi needs her the most right now and she should not abandon him during such a difficult time. Jhanak acknowledges that there is a possibility Rishi might regain his memories one day. Still, she cannot ignore the reality that he remembers everyone except her.
Sanjhbati asks Jhanak to look at the situation with compassion and understand Rishi’s condition. Dritimaan also advises her not to take such an important decision while being overwhelmed with emotions.
However, Jhanak refuses to help.
She firmly says that Aditi is the only one who can truly help Rishi. She believes Rishi’s family would never allow her to come close to him anyway. On top of that, Rishi himself clearly does not want her around.
Sanjhbati reminds her that she is Rishi’s wife and cannot simply walk away from the marriage. Jhanak sadly replies that her presence will only complicate things further. According to her, stepping back is the best decision.
Sanjhbati insists that they must try everything possible to bring Rishi’s memories back. She believes Rishi truly loves Jhanak, not Aditi.
But Jhanak remembers the painful moment when Rishi confessed his love for Aditi. With tears in her eyes, she says she loves Rishi unconditionally, yet he forgot her completely. If their bond had truly been special, he would not have erased her from his memory.
Dritimaan makes one last attempt and requests Jhanak to return and help them. He says they cannot even begin the process of restoring Rishi’s memories without her.
Sanjhbati also pleads with her to reconsider.
But Jhanak makes her final decision.
She announces that she will return to Simulboni after finishing her exams. She believes Aditi is Rishi’s happiness, and his happiness matters more than anything to her. With a heavy heart, she disconnects the call.
After the call ends, Sanjhbati turns to Dritimaan and says Jhanak is deeply hurt because Rishi forgot her but still remembers Aditi. Dritimaan decides that they must personally meet Jhanak and convince her. Sanjhbati agrees with his plan.
Meanwhile, Rishi is sitting alone and trying to recall fragments of his past. Memories of Jhanak and Aniruddh flash briefly in his mind.
At that moment, Aditi enters the room. She softly asks Rishi if he still loves her the way he used to before. Rishi silently nods.
Encouraged by his answer, Aditi begins reminiscing about their past. She speaks about her divorce and says that what truly matters to her is that Rishi returned to her.
Rishi then asks her a confusing question — why does Jhanak keep claiming to be his wife?
Aditi immediately asks him to ignore Jhanak’s words and changes the topic by offering to change his bandage.
Elsewhere in the house, Neelu and Tanushri observe them from a distance. Tanushri comments that Neelu is fortunate because Rishi has chosen Aditi. Neelu agrees and praises how well Aditi takes care of him.
She also criticizes Jhanak for leaving Rishi behind and blames her for his current condition. According to Neelu, Jhanak appears innocent but is actually very clever and manipulative.
Tanushri wonders what would happen if Rishi ever receives divorce papers. Neelu quickly stops that thought, saying they should not even think about such possibilities.
Meanwhile in Simulboni, the villagers are celebrating Holi. However, Parashar refuses to participate. He looks worried because Jhanak has not been answering his calls.
He tells the villagers that Jhanak has been facing many struggles ever since her marriage. They try to cheer him up and encourage him to celebrate Holi.
Parashar sadly says that he already lost Nutan, and now Jhanak is suffering as well.
Finally, Kusum calls Jhanak. When she answers, Parashar tells her how much he misses her. Jhanak gently reassures him that she will return to Simulboni after completing her exams and asks him not to worry.
The villagers inform her that Parashar refused to play Holi because he is worried about her. Jhanak asks Parashar to celebrate the festival and then ends the call.
After everyone leaves, Parashar looks at Nutan’s photograph and speaks to it emotionally. He promises that he will always support Jhanak and stand by her side.
Later, Aditi meets Koushik at a restaurant.
Koushik sarcastically complains that she never calls him anymore. Aditi explains that she has been busy taking care of Rishi. She then reveals that she has decided to reunite with Rishi.
Koushik becomes visibly angry after hearing this.
Aditi explains that she simply wants to give her relationship with Rishi another chance. Koushik sarcastically suggests that perhaps she secretly hopes Rishi never regains his memories.
Aditi argues that she cannot leave Rishi when he remembers only her. Koushik replies that it is not his problem and he is actually relieved that their marriage never happened.
Aditi says she believed they were good friends and expected him to understand her situation.
Koushik bluntly tells her that she is not being noble. According to him, Aditi is simply trying to win against Jhanak. He believes her actions are driven by ego rather than love.
Koushik finally declares that he is glad he understood her true nature before their marriage. He announces that he will walk away from her life completely and refuses to marry someone like her.
Aditi sits there stunned by his harsh words.
The episode ends on this intense emotional note.
In the precap, Aniruddh tells Jhanak that they will stay in the same house. Jhanak replies that she is already staying at the teacher’s house and he does not need to worry about her.

This episode strongly focuses on emotional conflict and misunderstandings. Jhanak’s heartbreak and decision to walk away highlight the tragic side of Rishi’s memory loss. At the same time, Koushik’s blunt confrontation exposes Aditi’s hidden motivations.
The story now builds toward a major turning point as Sanjhbati and Dritimaan plan to meet Jhanak personally.
