Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 8th March 2026 Written Update: Will Abhira Return to the Poddar House for Kaveri’s Last Wish?
The episode begins with Armaan coughing badly while sitting alone. Meher calls him regarding an important meeting, but Armaan ignores the call. When Meher confronts him, Armaan bluntly says that disconnecting the call clearly means he doesn’t want to talk. Meher reminds him about the urgent meeting, but Armaan refuses to attend and tells her to ask someone else to handle it. He says he wants to take a break because he has other priorities to deal with. His cold response leaves Meher stunned.
Meanwhile, tension grows at the Poddar house when Kajal realizes that Kaveri is missing. She panics and informs Madhav. While Madhav decides to search for Kaveri calmly, Kajal blames Vidya for speaking harshly to her earlier. Manisha defends Vidya and says she was only worried about Armaan. Kajal argues that Armaan is mature enough to deal with his own problems. Armaan interrupts the argument and tells everyone to stop fighting because finding Kaveri is more important.
Armaan calls Abhira to ask if Kaveri is with her. During the conversation, Abhira learns shocking news that Kaveri has met with an accident. She immediately rushes to the hospital. Back at the hospital, Madhav blames Vidya for Kaveri’s condition. His accusations break Vidya emotionally. Meanwhile, Myra finally meets Kaveri. During an emotional moment, Kaveri asks Abhira to return to the Poddar house. She says that only Abhira can bring the family back together and requests her to fulfill this as her last wish.
Soon Mukti spots Abhira in the hospital. To avoid creating chaos, Abhira hides from both Myra and Armaan. Mukti tells Abhira that Myra escaped from the hostel to see her grandmother. When Armaan later learns about the girls escaping, he becomes shocked.
Abhira remains hidden and conflicted. She knows Kaveri wants her back in the family, but she also believes that Armaan and Myra may never accept her return.
