Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 9th March 2026 Written Update: Abhira Returns To Poddar House, Armaan Furious As Kaveri Calls Her Name
Today’s episode begins with tension building at the Poddar house as the family waits anxiously for Armaan and Kaveri to arrive. Soon, Armaan brings Kaveri home. The Poddars are shocked to see Kaveri in a weak condition after the accident. Everyone gathers around her with concern.
Kajal asks Armaan to perform the aarti for Kaveri’s return. Manisha reminds him that the priest had instructed them not to perform the ritual inside the house, so it should be done at the entrance. Armaan prepares to perform the aarti and welcome Kaveri.
At that moment, Abhira suddenly arrives at the Poddar house, leaving everyone stunned.
The Poddars are completely shocked to see her standing there. Armaan immediately questions Abhira about why she has come. He asks whether she came to take Kaveri’s blessings before leaving the city.
Vidya reacts sharply and says blessings are not given to strangers. She bitterly asks whose life Abhira plans to ruin now by coming back.
Armaan firmly tells Abhira to leave the house immediately.
Abhira calmly replies that she returned because Kaveri asked her to come back. This shocks everyone even more.
Vidya and Armaan both refuse to believe her. They say they do not need Abhira to take care of Kaveri and accuse her of lying. Abhira continues insisting that Kaveri herself requested her to return to the house.
Armaan refuses to allow Abhira to go near Kaveri. He angrily grabs her arm and drags her outside the house.
As he pushes her out, Abhira asks him to let go of her bag and listen to what she is trying to say. She repeats that Kaveri called her back.
Vidya challenges her claim and says the entire family was present with Kaveri. She questions when Kaveri could have asked Abhira to return.
Armaan refuses to listen any further and orders Abhira to leave immediately.
Abhira tries to explain that returning to the Poddar house is not comfortable for her either. She says she has set aside her pride to come back because Kaveri wanted her there.
However, Armaan refuses to hear her side of the story and keeps insisting that she leave.
Just when the situation becomes more heated, Madhav intervenes.
He stops Armaan and declares that Abhira cannot be sent away like this. Madhav reveals that he heard Kaveri’s request himself and personally asked Abhira to return to the house.
He explains that Abhira put aside her ego and self-respect to come back for the sake of the family.
Armaan refuses to accept Madhav’s explanation. But Madhav firmly states that Kaveri is his mother, and he will fulfill her last wish, which she expressed even while unconscious.
Vidya accuses Abhira of manipulating Madhav and Kaveri to reenter the house.
Madhav insists that Abhira should be allowed to stay near Kaveri and take care of her.
Despite this, Armaan angrily throws Abhira out of the house again and locks the gate, telling her she is not welcome inside.
But Abhira refuses to give up.
She climbs over the gate and enters the house again, saying Armaan cannot stop her this time.
Armaan confronts her once more, trying to intimidate her. But Abhira stands strong and tells him to stop shouting because his anger no longer scares her.
She says she has already lost everything, so she has nothing left to fear.
Abhira walks directly toward Kaveri and emotionally asks her to open her eyes because she has returned as promised.
Vidya prepares to throw Abhira out once again, but suddenly Kaveri regains consciousness and softly calls Abhira’s name.
The entire family freezes in shock.
Madhav immediately asks Abhira to perform the welcome ritual for Kaveri.
Manisha expresses disbelief that Abhira has truly returned to the house. Tanya steps forward and helps Abhira with the ritual. Madhav also welcomes Abhira back into the family.
The episode ends with Abhira finally stepping back into the Poddar house despite Armaan’s strong opposition.
