Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 13th March 2026 Written Update: Mehndi Romance Turns Bitter as Gautam Feels Humiliated

The episode begins with Ritik noticing Samira sitting alone, lost in thought. He senses the pain on her face but does not immediately interrupt her silence, realizing she is going through emotional turmoil because of her parents’ constant conflicts.

Meanwhile at Shantiniketan, wedding preparations continue. Vrinda runs after her mischievous children, trying to control them before they create chaos during the mehndi ceremony. While rushing, she accidentally collides with Angad. The two share a brief romantic moment. Angad teases Vrinda for not applying mehndi yet and asks her to write his name on her hands while he promises to handle the kids.

In another corner of the celebration, Ritik carefully applies lemon and sugar mixture on Munni’s mehndi to deepen its color. Munni becomes curious and asks how he knows such tricks. Ritik reminds her that she herself used to give this advice to everyone in the past. The moment turns nostalgic.

Ritik tells Munni that she has always been part of this family, even before becoming his bride. Now she is not only part of the house but also part of his life. The heartfelt words move Munni, and she hugs him. They share a tender romantic moment.

At the same time, Sobha video calls Tulsi to show the mehndi celebration. Mihir proudly shows everyone that he has written Tulsi’s name in his mehndi, surprising everyone. Tulsi becomes shy and slightly irritated by Mihir’s playful behavior.

Mihir jokes that even men can apply mehndi and proudly shows off the design with Tulsi’s name. Tulsi tells him to stop being childish, but Mihir continues teasing her. It is clear that Mihir is determined to bring Tulsi back into his life.

Meanwhile, Angad complains to Vrinda that they haven’t had any romantic time lately because of all the responsibilities. Vrinda playfully ignores him at first, but eventually she holds his arms affectionately. Angad declares that he has every right to romance his wife.

Nearby, Ritik and Munni continue their sweet conversation. Ritik nervously calls Munni “vada pav,” remembering their shared memories from earlier days. He admits he doesn’t want to lose her again and gently kisses her forehead. At the same time, Angad also kisses Vrinda on her forehead.

Their romantic moment is quickly interrupted when Sobha catches them and pulls Ritik by his ear, teasing him like a strict elder. She drags them away to continue the wedding rituals.

Elsewhere, tension rises again in Karan and Nandini’s family. Nandini asks Samira to eat something, but Samira angrily rejects her concern, calling it fake. Karan scolds Samira for speaking disrespectfully to her mother.

Samira finally explodes emotionally and reveals that she already knows about their plans to separate. She declares that she is no longer a child who can be fooled by their fake smiles.

Back at the ceremony, Sobha informs Mihir that the priest has requested the eldest couple of the family to perform the havan ritual. Ritik suggests that Karan and Nandini should do the ritual, hoping it might help bring them closer.

Mihir agrees with the suggestion.

Meanwhile, Tulsi waits eagerly for Gautam, believing he will attend the wedding. Mihir doubts that Gautam will come and tells Tulsi to focus on enjoying the ceremony instead.

Just then, Gautam and Damini unexpectedly arrive, surprising everyone. Tulsi had personally invited Damini, hoping it would encourage Gautam to attend.

Tulsi warmly welcomes them and thanks them for coming. Gautam coldly replies that he is present only because his wife insisted.

Soon Gautam and Karan come face-to-face, and the old tension between them resurfaces. Karan asks Nandini why Gautam was invited, accusing him of ruining the mood of every gathering.

Gautam also feels uncomfortable seeing Karan there and silently questions why he agreed to attend the event.

Meanwhile, Pari searches for Garima and notices Ajay taking wonderful care of the child. Watching this scene makes Pari realize how wrong she was in judging Ajay in the past.

At the same time, the havan ceremony begins.

Mihir asks Karan and Nandini to sit together for the ritual, following Ritik’s suggestion. Unfortunately, this decision unintentionally hurts Gautam.

Seeing Karan and Nandini performing the ritual as the eldest couple makes Gautam feel ignored and humiliated. He approaches Tulsi angrily and asks why she called him and Damini if they were not even needed.

Tulsi is shocked and tries to explain that she had no idea this would happen.

Gautam accuses the family of insulting him and decides to leave immediately. Tulsi becomes deeply worried and turns to Mihir, asking why he allowed Karan and Nandini to perform the ritual.

Mihir explains that Ritik suggested it.

Tulsi tells Mihir that Gautam feels humiliated and asks him to stop Gautam before he leaves. The emotional tension threatens to disrupt the wedding celebrations.

The episode ends with Tulsi anxiously hoping that Mihir will convince Gautam to stay.

Precap: Karan attempts to stop Gautam and explain the misunderstanding, while Samira’s emotional turmoil pushes her toward a dangerous step as she struggles with her parents’ broken relationship.

Review

This episode blends romance, family warmth, and emotional conflict. The mehndi ceremony scenes provide lighthearted moments, especially the playful romance between Ritik–Munni and Angad–Vrinda. Mihir writing Tulsi’s name in mehndi adds a sweet symbolic moment showing his determination to win her back.

However, the festive mood is overshadowed by deeper emotional issues. The Gautam–Karan tension becomes the most powerful storyline of the episode, highlighting unresolved family wounds.

Samira’s emotional breakdown also adds a serious layer, reminding viewers that adult conflicts often deeply affect children.

Overall, the episode successfully balances celebration with underlying family drama, setting up intense emotional developments ahead.

Rating

Episode Rating: 4.4 / 5

A well-balanced episode combining romance, nostalgia, and emotional conflict. The mehndi celebration keeps the story lively while the Gautam–Karan confrontation and Samira’s distress create strong anticipation for the upcoming drama.
