Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 14th March 2026 Written Update: Samira’s Suicide Attempt Shocks the Viranis

The episode begins with the tension from the havan ceremony continuing. Karan calmly tells Mihir and Tulsi that he has no problem with whoever sits in the puja. However, he questions why Gautam reacted so strongly. Tulsi explains that Gautam has lived through many struggles alone, which has made him emotionally vulnerable.

Karan says he has no personal issues with Gautam and is even ready to step aside so Gautam and Damini can perform the ritual instead. Tulsi appreciates Karan’s understanding and asks him to call Gautam back.

Meanwhile, Gautam is preparing to leave with Damini, still feeling deeply insulted. Damini asks him not to create a scene during a happy occasion, but Gautam insists that the family has humiliated them by asking someone else to sit in the puja.

Just then, Karan stops Gautam and tries to convince him to stay. Gautam angrily refuses and says he is not a beggar who will sit in the puja only after being invited as a replacement.

The argument quickly turns into a painful confrontation between the two brothers.

Gautam accuses Mihir of always favoring Karan and neglecting him. He claims that although he is the eldest son, he has always been treated like an outsider in his own family. According to him, Karan has always been the beloved child while he remained just “a son, not the favorite one.”

Karan defends their father and denies the accusations of favoritism. However, Gautam refuses to calm down. Sobha and Angad attempt to intervene and stop the fight, but the argument continues.

Karan finally tells Gautam that he is ruining the entire celebration with his bitterness. Mihir and Tulsi also step in to stop the argument before it gets worse.

But Gautam remains furious and leaves the place with Damini.

While the adults continue arguing, Samira silently watches everything, deeply affected by the tension between the family members and her own parents’ troubled marriage.

Overwhelmed by emotions, she quietly walks toward the terrace.

Meanwhile, the argument downstairs continues briefly until Mihir tries to calm everyone down. At the same time, Ritik notices Samira’s strange behavior and follows her.

On the terrace, Samira stands near the railing crying uncontrollably. She remembers the constant fights between her parents and the painful discussions about their separation. In a moment of desperation, she climbs onto the railing, preparing to jump.

Just then, Ritik reaches the terrace.

He immediately understands the danger and slowly approaches her, speaking calmly to prevent her from taking a tragic step. Ritik tells her that she should not punish herself for the problems created by others.

Samira breaks down and says that nobody truly loves her. She believes her parents are too busy fighting to care about her.

Soon the rest of the family arrives on the terrace, shocked to see the situation.

Ritik carefully holds Samira and gently brings her down from the railing. The entire family sighs in relief.

Karan rushes to hug his daughter, while Nandini also embraces her tightly. Both parents realize how deeply their conflicts have affected Samira.

Tulsi softly asks Samira to speak openly about her pain. Samira finally confesses that she has been mentally disturbed because of her parents’ constant fights. She reveals that they have been discussing separation and migration decisions without thinking about how it affects her.

Samira tearfully asks how she will live if her parents separate.

The confession shocks both Karan and Nandini.

Tulsi assures Samira that every problem has a solution and reminds her that life is precious. Ritik also shares his own experiences of making mistakes and learning from them, hoping to encourage her.

Mihir promises Samira that she is loved by everyone in the family and that she will never be alone.

Munni and Pari also support her and tell her they are always there for her.

Tulsi makes Samira promise that she will never take such a step again. After calming her down, Tulsi asks Pari to take Samira away so she can rest.

Once Samira leaves, Tulsi turns toward Karan and Nandini with visible anger.

She scolds them for allowing their personal conflicts to harm their daughter emotionally. Tulsi reminds them that parents must always prioritize their children above their own egos.

Nandini admits that she came to India mainly because Tulsi asked her to. She also reveals that she and Karan were planning to announce their separation soon.

Karan, however, points out that Tulsi herself left her children six years ago. He questions how she can lecture them about parental responsibility.

Tulsi responds calmly that their children are now adults and capable of understanding the situation. But Karan argues that no child ever stops needing their parents.

The emotional confrontation leaves everyone silent.

The episode ends with unresolved tensions, as the family realizes how deeply broken relationships can affect the younger generation.

Precap: Gautam asks Tulsi for a favor that may change everything. Tulsi decides to return to Shantiniketan for the sake of her children, while Mihir hopes that her return might also bring her back into his life.

Review

This episode delivers one of the most emotionally intense moments in recent episodes. The storyline shifts from family rivalry to the serious consequences of unresolved conflicts.

Samira’s suicide attempt acts as a powerful wake-up call for both Karan and Nandini. The writers highlight how parental conflicts can severely affect children’s mental health. Ritik’s timely intervention strengthens his character as someone who understands emotional pain.

The confrontation between Gautam and Karan also exposes years of unresolved resentment within the Virani family. Gautam’s accusations of favoritism add depth to the ongoing family dynamics.

Tulsi once again emerges as the emotional anchor of the story. Her strong reprimand toward Karan and Nandini reflects her role as the moral center of the family.

Rating

Episode Rating: 4.6 / 5
