Siddhu’s breakdown at the start sets the tone. The moment he starts hurting himself, thinking it’s Pujari outside, and then realizes it’s Durgavati… that guilt hits instantly. His apology doesn’t feel like a solution, it feels like surrender. He’s not fighting anymore, he’s just exhausted. That small detail—his bleeding hand—says more than any long dialogue could.
Durgavati, for once, isn’t shown as powerful or dominating. She looks like a mother who has lost control of everything she once believed she could manage. Her pain feels real because she isn’t defending herself anymore—she’s questioning herself.
