Jhanak 8th May 2026 Written Update: Rishi Refuses To Accept Jhanak’s Child. Today’s episode begins with Jhanak telling Ayushman that she urgently needs a place to stay. She says it would be better if the place is near the hospital. Ayushman gets worried and asks if everything is fine at her house. Jhanak avoids sharing details and stays emotional.
Ayushman offers help and says his friend has a place nearby where she can stay comfortably. He gently asks whether she will be okay staying alone. Jhanak sadly replies that maybe loneliness is her fate now. Ayushman offers to speak to Rishi and sort things out, but Jhanak firmly refuses.
Ayushman feels terrible seeing her condition and asks her to share the truth with him. Jhanak finally reveals the shocking reality — she is pregnant, but Rishi believes the child belongs to someone else. She says that is why she left the house.
Ayushman stands stunned hearing this. He immediately asks Jhanak to stay in his guest room until she finds another place. Jhanak hesitates and says she can manage in a hotel for a few days. She apologizes to Ayushman for dragging him into her personal mess.
However, Ayushman assures her that she never has to apologize to him. He says something deeply wrong has happened with her and promises to support her always. His calm support emotionally comforts Jhanak during her lowest phase.
Meanwhile, Srishti enters the cabin and greets Ayushman. She taunts Jhanak indirectly and sarcastically asks if she is still there. Srishti then updates Ayushman about Sujatha’s critical patient condition.
Ayushman immediately understands Srishti’s intentions and coldly warns her not to interfere unnecessarily again. Srishti feels insulted while Jhanak quietly watches everything unfold.
On the other side, tension explodes in Rishi’s house. Tanushri questions Rishi about how he could accuse Jhanak so badly. Rishi stubbornly insists that the child is not his and says he deserves to know who the real father is.
Abhimanyu gets furious and asks Rishi what proof he has before questioning Jhanak’s character. Rishi claims he has medical evidence. The family gets shocked hearing this.
Rishi further says everyone should question Ayushman instead of blindly supporting Jhanak. Tanushri warns him not to involve Aditi in this matter anymore. Abhimanyu angrily orders Rishi to apologize to Jhanak and bring her back home.
But Rishi refuses completely.
Abhimanyu then warns that he will personally tell Aditi to stay away from their family. Rishi defends Aditi and says she has nothing to do with this situation. Abhimanyu accuses Aditi of influencing him against Jhanak.
Rishi emotionally lashes out and says everyone in the family is choosing Jhanak over him. Tanushri calmly replies that they are choosing truth, not sides. She says the old Rishi has completely changed under Aditi’s influence.
When Rishi asks what will happen if Jhanak refuses to return, Abhimanyu firmly says he must convince her at any cost because he is the one who made the mistake.
Despite the family’s pressure, Rishi continues insisting that Jhanak is not carrying his child. He walks away angrily, refusing to listen further.
The next day, Aniruddh confronts Rishi and scolds him badly for accusing Jhanak without trust. Rishi stubbornly repeats that the child is not his. Aniruddh reminds him how much Jhanak sacrificed and suffered for him.
Rishi coldly replies that doing good for someone doesn’t give them permission to betray them. Sanjhbati strongly defends Jhanak and says she can never do anything wrong.
The family demands answers from Rishi again. Rishi then asks Aditi to tell everyone the truth. Aditi initially hesitates and says she doesn’t want to interfere in their personal family matter.
But under pressure, Aditi speaks about Jhanak’s closeness with Ayushman. She claims even hospital staff and colleagues noticed their bond. Her words leave the family shocked and confused.
The episode ends with suspicion, heartbreak, and growing distance between Rishi and Jhanak.
Precap: Jhanak eats with Aniruddh while silently remembering Rishi’s hurtful accusations. Dritimaan says he wants to meet Jhanak. Aniruddh replies that anyone can meet Jhanak now — except Rishi.
