Mangal Lakshmi 8th May 2026 Written Update: Mangal Risks Her Life To Save Akshat. Today’s episode begins with Jairaj and Mangal rushing towards the cliff after learning that the children’s bus has lost control. Sowmya watches from a distance and gets shocked seeing Jairaj and Mangal arriving together to rescue the children.
Mangal and Jairaj are horrified to see the bus hanging dangerously at the edge of the cliff. Inside the bus, Akshat regains consciousness and tells Shubhi that Mangal has come to save them. Both children get emotional hearing her voice.
Jairaj warns Mangal to move carefully because even the slightest imbalance could send the bus crashing down the cliff. Meanwhile, Sowmya secretly panics seeing the rescue operation happening successfully.
Jairaj quickly finds a rope and ties it to the hanging bus. He then uses his Bullet bike to pull the bus backward while Mangal bravely climbs onto the unstable bus to rescue the trapped teenagers.
One by one, Mangal helps the frightened children escape safely. The entire sequence becomes extremely intense as the bus keeps shaking dangerously over the cliff.
Suddenly, the rope snaps.
The bus begins slipping further down, leaving everyone terrified. Jairaj immediately jumps off his bike and grabs the rope with his bare hands to stop the bus from falling completely.
Mangal desperately calls out to Akshat and Shubhi. After a few tense moments, both respond weakly. Akshat and Shubhi slowly crawl toward Mangal while trying to balance themselves inside the damaged bus.
Elsewhere, Sowmya contacts her henchmen and asks them to rush to the location. But after noticing police officers nearby, she immediately tells them to stay away and avoid getting caught.
Inside the bus, Akshat emotionally apologizes to Mangal. He admits he got trapped in the fake currency racket unwillingly and never wanted to become part of the crime. Mangal gets emotional hearing his confession.
Back home, Ishana anxiously asks Kusum if Akshat can return safely. Kusum reveals that police informed her about the accident involving Akshat’s bus. She asks Gayatri to inform Adit immediately.
At the cliff, Adit finally arrives and gets shocked seeing Jairaj risking his life to save everyone. Despite his surprise, Adit joins the rescue mission and helps Mangal pull Akshat out of the bus safely.
However, when Mangal tries rescuing Shubhi, disaster strikes again.
The remaining rope suddenly breaks, causing the bus to fall deeper into the cliff. During the chaos, Mangal also slips and hits her head badly against a tree branch before losing consciousness.

Without wasting time, Jairaj climbs down the dangerous cliff area and successfully rescues Shubhi from the damaged bus. He asks the police to rush Shubhi to the hospital immediately.
Meanwhile, Adit notices police officers taking Akshat away for questioning and goes after them to speak.
Jairaj tears a piece of his shirt to stop Mangal’s bleeding and carefully carries her into the car. His concern for Mangal becomes visible as he keeps asking her to open her eyes during the drive.
Later, Adit wonders where Mangal has disappeared. A police officer informs him that she was likely taken to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the story takes another explosive turn.
A furious Adit stops Sowmya’s car midway and slaps her hard for dragging Akshat into the fake currency racket and risking innocent teenagers’ lives. He accuses her of trying to kill the children just to save herself from police investigation.
Sowmya desperately tries defending herself and claims she never knew Akshat was involved in the operation. But Adit refuses to trust her anymore. He reminds her that she was the one managing the entire racket and assigning tasks to the teenagers.
Adit completely loses his temper and lashes out at her for repeatedly betraying his trust.
Sowmya continues crying and begging him to believe her innocence regarding Akshat. But Adit remains furious and deeply disappointed.
Meanwhile, Jairaj keeps driving toward the hospital while repeatedly pleading with unconscious Mangal to wake up.
The emotional episode ends on a tense note.
