Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 14th May 2026 Written Update: Abhira Walks Away From Armaan Again, Krish Crosses All Limits

Today’s episode begins with Abhira trying to understand Armaan’s anger after the basketball match drama. Armaan wins the match against Abhira, but instead of celebrating, he remains emotionally disturbed. Abhira silently looks at him, trying to figure out what is bothering him so deeply. Mukti and Myra stand stunned watching the growing emotional distance between Abhira and Armaan despite their obvious love for each other.

Meanwhile, Tanya and Krish’s relationship reaches another ugly stage. Tanya questions Krish about his confusing behavior and asks why he refuses to live a respectful life. She reminds him that he almost accepted a job offer but backed out later. Krish casually says he is already working, but Tanya lashes out at him for betraying Armaan and joining hands with the wrong people. Tanya’s frustration clearly reflects how disappointed she feels in Krish’s choices and attitude.

Disha notices their heated argument and tries stepping in to calm things down, but Aryan stops her midway. Aryan explains that Tanya genuinely loves Krish and believes she will handle the situation herself. Disha feels helpless seeing everyone’s relationships falling apart around her.

Later, Abhira and Armaan meet a counsellor to discuss their relationship issues. The emotional session reveals Armaan’s deepest frustration. He admits he is angry because Abhira never prioritizes herself. According to him, Abhira always sacrifices her happiness and their relationship just to help others. Abhira calmly explains that she only burst the balloon to save another woman from getting injured during the basketball game.

Armaan loses his calm and asks Abhira if she has taken responsibility for saving the entire world. The counsellor tries calming him down, but Armaan continues expressing his bottled-up emotions. He asks Abhira why she never thinks about herself and why she always sacrifices their relationship to keep others happy. He desperately asks her why she cannot become selfish even once. His emotional outburst leaves Abhira deeply hurt, and she silently walks out of the session.

Elsewhere, Manoj discusses Tanya’s anger and emotional state. Tanya questions Manoj if he thinks she is too bossy. Manoj jokingly replies that she is simply “a boss,” making the situation slightly lighter. Armaan also supports Tanya and tells her that Krish is unable to value someone as capable and successful as her. He bluntly calls Krish a fool for not understanding Tanya’s worth.

At the same time, Disha tries helping Krish by booking a dinner table for him and Tanya so they can resolve their issues peacefully. Instead of appreciating her effort, Krish humiliates Disha badly. He asks her if he ever requested her advice and mocks her marriage too. He taunts Aryan by calling him a wife’s follower and tells Disha to focus on her own life instead of interfering in his matters. Disha gets hurt because her intentions were genuinely good.

Abhira finally loses patience seeing Krish’s toxic behavior. She strongly confronts him and questions why he cannot value Tanya despite all her support. Abhira brutally reminds Krish that Tanya still stands beside him despite him being a liar, scammer, and fraud. She further attacks him for joining hands with Mittal and asks if he feels ashamed of respecting Tanya but not ashamed of his own wrongdoings. Krish remains speechless after Abhira’s harsh but truthful words.

Meanwhile, Armaan tries making peace in his own way. He brings ice cream for Myra, Mukti, and Abhira. Mukti sweetly asks him to join them, but Armaan refuses and quietly leaves, unable to deal with his emotions properly.

Later that night, Armaan and Abhira finally have an honest conversation. Abhira opens up about her childhood pain and admits that watching Akshara sacrifice herself for everyone always made her angry. Armaan gently explains that helping others is good, but she must also prioritize herself and her loved ones sometimes. His words finally make Abhira realize why he became so upset earlier. She assures Armaan that she will slowly learn to value herself more and promises to change with time.

Their emotional conversation melts hearts because despite all their misunderstandings, their love and concern for each other still remain very strong. Mukti and Myra secretly notice their growing closeness and once again begin planning ways to reunite them completely.

On the other hand, Disha decides to distance herself emotionally from the family chaos. Aryan notices her sadness and asks why she left suddenly. Disha lies and says she went to give company to Mamta. Deep inside, however, Disha feels emotionally exhausted. She thinks that although Abhira, Aryan, and Manisha support her, she can no longer tolerate Krish’s behavior and negativity.

The atmosphere changes when the Poddar family starts preparing for Kaveri’s birthday celebration. Kaveri emotionally says she does not need any gifts because having her entire family together is the biggest blessing for her. Everyone happily prepares for the celebration and the family moment brings temporary happiness inside the house.

Aryan asks Disha to attend Kaveri’s birthday celebration, hoping it will cheer her up. Meanwhile, Vidya quietly tries joining the celebration too, hinting that emotional drama is far from over in the Poddar family.

The episode ends on an emotional note as relationships continue struggling between love, ego, sacrifice, and misunderstandings.

Our Take

Today’s episode focused heavily on emotional conflicts rather than dramatic twists, and that worked beautifully. Armaan’s frustration finally came out in a realistic and heartbreaking way. His anger is not because he hates Abhira’s kindness, but because he fears losing her emotionally every single time she sacrifices herself for others. The counselling scene was easily the strongest part of the episode because it exposed the emotional wounds both characters are carrying silently.

Krish’s character continues becoming more irritating with every episode, while Tanya emerges as one of the strongest and most sensible characters currently. Abhira confronting Krish was satisfying because someone finally called out his hypocrisy openly.

The upcoming car ride drama already looks interesting because Mukti, Myra, and Kaveri are clearly determined to reunite Armaan and Abhira at any cost.
