Mannat 17th May 2026 Written Update: Dhairya Feels Broken as Vikrant and Mannat Dream of a Family Together

The episode starts with an emotional conversation between Roni and Dhairya. Roni tries to make Dhairya understand that Dua may have accepted Vikrant as her biological father, but that does not mean she will stop loving Dhairya.

Roni reminds Dhairya that Mannat always considered Shruthi as her real mother despite not being connected by blood. In the same way, Dua can love both Vikrant and Dhairya equally.

Dhairya emotionally replies that Roni once believed Vikrant was his entire world too, but Vikrant himself pushed everyone away from his life. Roni admits that Vikrant made terrible mistakes because he was manipulated by Vishaka. He calls Vishaka a poisonous and cunning woman who destroyed relationships for selfish motives.

Still, Roni says Dhairya and Vikrant are different from Vishaka because their hearts are not filled with hatred. He asks Dhairya to trust Vikrant once again.

Meanwhile, Vikrant stands before God and emotionally thanks him for returning his family to him. He says he only prayed for a small place in Dua’s life, but instead God gave him hope of rebuilding his broken family again.

At that moment, Mata Rani’s chunni falls over Vikrant and Mannat together. Both become emotional remembering their old happy memories.

Mannat smiles through tears and tells Vikrant that this is clearly a sign from God that they are meant to be together. She says she believes everything will slowly become alright again.

Vikrant admits he still fears Dhairya may not agree to stay with them.

Mannat assures him that Dhairya is a genuinely good person. She says his only fear is losing Dua because she is his entire life. Mannat says they can make Dhairya understand that no one can take his place away from him.

Vikrant agrees emotionally and says Dhairya truly deserves the title of Dua’s baba more than anyone else. He says they can raise Dua together and give her the love of two fathers instead of forcing her to choose one.

Elsewhere, Dua happily shows a drawing to Bunty. Bunty praises her artwork and gently tells her that since Vikrant is her biological father, she should include him in the family picture too.

Dua innocently agrees.

Unfortunately, Dhairya overhears only half the conversation and misunderstands everything again. He assumes Dua is slowly replacing him with Vikrant in her life.

Heartbroken, Dhairya quietly decides that it is time for him to leave the house forever.

However, he does not hear the second part of Dua’s conversation where she lovingly says Dhairya will always remain her father no matter what. She even prepares his favorite cookies specially for him.

Meanwhile, Yashika continues manipulating Neetu against Dhairya. Neetu openly says Dhairya should leave the house because Vikrant deserves his family back now.

Mannat immediately defends Dhairya and reminds Neetu that Dhairya cared for her like a son for years. She asks Neetu whether she never truly loved him despite everything he did for the family.

Neetu coldly replies that Dhairya only helped them because he felt guilty for Vishaka’s sins. According to her, he simply wanted to repay for the damage caused by his mother.

Vikrant becomes upset hearing this. Yashika quickly interrupts and asks everyone to stop discussing the topic further before things become worse.

Later, Dua excitedly brings freshly baked cookies for Dhairya. Seeing the effort she made for him melts Dhairya emotionally. Dua hugs him lovingly and promises she will never leave his side because she loves him very much.

Dhairya becomes emotional hearing her innocent words.

Elsewhere, Vikrant confronts Neetu about her behavior toward Dhairya. He firmly tells her that Dhairya did everything from his heart, not because of guilt.

Vikrant reminds Neetu that Vishaka may have been Dhairya’s mother, but he himself is not responsible for her crimes. He admits he paid for Neetu’s treatment and tried controlling Dua’s life forcefully in the past, but now he understands the real value of relationships after suffering for seven years.

Vikrant says he himself does not deserve forgiveness because he destroyed his own family through anger and ego.

Neetu finally softens slightly and says Vikrant has a very pure heart. However, she still believes Dhairya does not deserve forgiveness.

Meanwhile, Yashika silently watches Vikrant and Mannat growing emotionally closer again. She realizes Vikrant is fully supporting Mannat now and decides she must create new misunderstandings quickly before they reunite permanently.

The episode ends with Dhairya silently struggling between love, insecurity, and sacrifice while Mannat and Vikrant slowly dream of rebuilding their broken family together.

Precap

Mannat emotionally asks Dhairya to stay with them because she cannot live without Vikrant. After a painful emotional moment, Dhairya finally agrees to stay in the same house with them.

Review

Today’s episode focused heavily on emotional healing and misunderstandings. Vikrant’s character growth stood out strongly because, for the first time, he genuinely respected Dhairya’s importance in Dua’s life instead of treating him like a rival.

Dhairya’s emotional breakdown scenes were heartbreaking, especially because every misunderstanding happens due to incomplete conversations. Dua’s innocent love for him added emotional warmth to the episode.

Yashika and Neetu continue adding toxicity to the story, but the emotional maturity shown by Vikrant and Mannat balanced the drama beautifully.
