Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 17th May 2026 Written Update: Rio Shocks Nandini With Ansh Truth, Ajay Breaks Down At Pari’s Wedding
The episode starts with Tulsi asking Sobha to call Indira and invite her properly for Pari’s wedding ceremony. Indira happily agrees to attend the wedding celebrations. She then calls Ajay and asks him to accompany the family.
Ajay refuses at first because watching Pari marry someone else is becoming unbearable for him emotionally. Indira reminds him how Pari once saved Sunny’s life and says he should attend at least for Sunny’s happiness. Sunny excitedly talks about enjoying Pari aunty’s wedding, leaving Ajay emotional and helpless.
Meanwhile, Rio sits watching movies on television while Niyati joins him. Rio suddenly questions why she named him Reyansh instead of Ansh Virani. The moment he takes Ansh’s name and a gunshot scene appears on TV, Niyati gets disturbed and suffers a severe headache.
She immediately asks Rio to switch off the television. Rio apologizes but silently notices her fearful reaction again. He realizes that every mention of Ansh or violence deeply affects Niyati. Rio decides that today he will uncover the complete truth from Karan no matter what.

At the same time, Rio finally spots Nandini. Pandit ji asks Nandini to bring puja samagri, and while she walks away, Rio intentionally collides with her.

This episode balanced emotional drama and suspense really well. Ajay and Pari’s heartbreaking scenes quietly stole attention because their pain felt genuine and unfinished. The veil sequence was simple but emotionally powerful. Rio’s investigation track also became more gripping today. His confrontation with Nandini finally pushed the Ansh mystery forward after many episodes of hints and secrets.
The wedding atmosphere looked grand, but underneath all the rituals, almost every character carried emotional baggage. That contrast made the episode engaging throughout. Nandini’s panic attack scene especially created curiosity about what truly happened to Ansh years ago.
