Vasudha 26th May 2026 Written Update: Santosh Begins Vasudha’s Biggest Battle. Dev asks Krish to apologize to Vasudha. Prabhat and Divya also take a stand for Vasudha. Krish apologizes to Vasudha. Meera tells that they will not stay at the party. Dev tells that a life partner is chosen by heart, not by money and jewellery. He taunts them and asks them to leave. Meera and Krish leave. Vasudha feels sad and cries. Dev tells her that she is perfect for him. Prabhat asks the guests to come and have food. Once the party gets over, Santosh asks Vasudha not to cry. Vasudha looks at Chandrika. Santosh blames Chandrika.
She says Chandrika didn’t accept Vasudha as her Bahu, so the world assumes Vasudha is the maid of the house. Chandrika defends her decision. She tells that she was silent in front of the guests, but it was Vasudha’s mistake to change the good clothes and jewellery. She asks Vasudha if she wanted this drama to happen. Santosh asks Chandrika why she gave the saree and jewellery to Vasudha. She throws the saree and jewellery on the floor. She asks Chandrika to donate it to a poor person.
She adds that Vasudha isn’t a maid, but a Chauhan Bahu. She says she asked Vasudha to change her clothes. Chandrika tells that she regards Vasudha as a daughter. Santosh calls it a lie. She says Chandrika would have let Vasudha settle down with Dev if she loved Vasudha as her daughter. Chandrika and Santosh argue further. Vasudha cries. Prabhat asks Santosh to let it be and not blame Chandrika. Santosh scolds him. Vasudha tells that she knows Chandrika is doing this for a reason. Santosh asks her to learn to fight for her rights.

Vasudha tells that it’s her work to serve the Chauhan family, and she loves her work. She feels she isn’t fortunate to get Chandrika’s love. Santosh tells Vasudha about Chandrika’s struggles and success. She asks Vasudha to learn from Chandrika. She says Vasudha should become capable and match up to Chandrika’s expectations. She challenges Vasudha. Vasudha asks how she can win Chandrika’s heart. Santosh motivates her. She asks her to change herself if she truly worships Chandrika.
Vasudha agrees to do as Santosh tells her. Santosh promises to get Vasudha’s rights. She says Chandrika will welcome Vasudha. Vasudha smiles. Dev waits for Vasudha. Chandrika comes and does Prabhat’s aarti. Santosh dances on dhol. She makes Vasudha wear the shagun dupatta. She asks Hanumant to permit her to take Vasudha home. Hanumant tells that Vasudha belongs to Chauhans now. Santosh takes Chandrika to Chauhan house. Chandrika asks Prabhat to stop Santosh.

This episode turns emotional in a way Vasudha has been building toward for weeks. The story moves away from external villains and finally places the biggest conflict where it truly belongs — inside Chandrika’s heart.
The humiliation Vasudha faces at the party hurts deeply because it exposes the truth nobody wants to say openly. One outsider mistake becomes a mirror for the Chauhan family itself. Krish and Meera’s comments sting, but Santosh’s anger lands harder because she points toward the real problem. The world still sees Vasudha as a servant because Chandrika never publicly gave her the identity she deserves.
Dev shines beautifully again.
His dialogue about choosing a life partner with the heart instead of wealth becomes one of his strongest moments. He doesn’t defend Vasudha out of sympathy. He stands beside her with pride. That difference matters.
Santosh completely owns the episode.
For several episodes viewers wanted somebody to challenge Chandrika directly. Santosh finally does it without holding back. Her throwing away the saree and jewellery becomes symbolic. She isn’t insulting Chandrika. She is rejecting half acceptance.
The biggest emotional layer comes from Chandrika herself.
For the first time, her fear begins feeling exhausting instead of emotional. The audience understands her concern about Prabhat, but the fear has now crossed into hurting Dev and Vasudha’s present. That frustration is exactly what the episode wants viewers to feel.
Vasudha remains the emotional soul of the story.
Even after insult, rejection, and pain, she refuses bitterness. Her devotion toward Chandrika still feels pure. That innocence becomes both her strength and weakness.
