Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 26th May 2026 Written Update: Rio Creates More Trouble, Tulsi Faces Family Tensions
Today’s episode focuses on growing misunderstandings inside the Virani family, Dev’s frustration over property matters, Nandini’s emotional pain, and Rio slowly becoming the center of fresh conflicts inside Shantiniketan.
The episode begins with Saloni helping Dev prepare for the journey. She tells him his clothes are ready and reminds him that traveling by train will be a different experience. Dev remains distracted and asks Saloni to convince Baap Ji to call them to Surat permanently because he believes their future lies there. Saloni tries making him understand that not everyone gets the blessing of family support and affection, but Dev refuses to think positively and continues carrying disappointment within himself.
Meanwhile, Damini talks to Nandini and says she cannot understand the pain Nandini is going through. At the same time, she remains convinced that Karan truly loves Nandini despite everything happening around them. Rio once again adds fuel to family tensions. He questions Dev about spoiling his mood because of Parth and openly claims Dev deserves more importance and property rights. Parth overhears Rio and asks him to repeat his words loudly. Karan immediately steps in and warns Rio to stay within limits. Gautam adds that Rio will never listen because Karan is not his father. The atmosphere becomes awkward before Sahil quickly tells everyone to focus on leaving on time.

Meanwhile, Dev once again shares his frustration with Rio. He says Karan wants to send him to Jamshedpur and admits he feels jealous of Parth. Rio supports Dev and slowly encourages his negative thinking further. Dev also complains about Khushbu and calls her irritating. Rio immediately promises to teach Khushbu a lesson, though Dev says she is not worth the trouble.
Back at Shantiniketan, preparations begin for the Godh Bharai ceremony. Happiness briefly returns as Khushbu and Munni dance together. Slowly the rest of the family joins in celebration. Only Tulsi and Nandini stay emotionally distant despite the cheerful atmosphere.
Ritik calls Munni during the ceremony to ask how everything is going. Munni updates him about the family tensions and says she does not want to interfere unnecessarily. Ritik advises her to stay away from ongoing conflicts and avoid becoming emotionally burdened.
Gautam notices Ritik talking and playfully teases Munni, telling her not to worry because they can manage Ritik well enough. Sahil watches Gautam joking around and questions his behavior.
