Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 2nd July 2026 Written Update: Armaan and Abhira Marry as His Health Takes a Critical Turn
Today’s episode begins with the Poddars helping Abhira and Armaan get ready for their wedding. Myra lovingly applies kajal to Armaan to ward off the evil eye. The emotional atmosphere leaves both Armaan and Abhira teary-eyed. Abhira notices the sand timer and grows anxious about the limited time left before Armaan’s surgery.
Armaan suddenly asks who is getting married at Akshara’s resort, leaving the Poddars stunned. Kaveri smiles and teases him for forgetting his own wedding. She reminds him that he is the groom and assures him that everything will be fine after his surgery. Myra also reminds Armaan that he could never forget Abhira. Armaan laughs it off, saying he was only joking and could never forget the most important day of his life.
Soon, Abhira arrives dressed as the bride, leaving Armaan mesmerized. Myra playfully says he will forget everything after seeing Abhira. The couple exchanges varmala and shares a warm hug as the wedding rituals begin. Myra and Mukti happily record the special moments on video.
Tanya performs a wedding ritual for the couple, while Madhav and Vidya complete another ritual for Abhira. The priest asks Armaan and Abhira to prepare for the sacred pheras.
Madhav says that since Myra and Mukti played an important role in reuniting Armaan and Abhira, they deserve the honor of performing Abhira’s kanyadaan. Vidya praises both girls and encourages them to complete the ritual.
Myra recalls how she and Mukti had unintentionally become the reason behind Armaan and Abhira’s separation in the past. Overwhelmed with emotion, Mukti blesses the newlyweds and asks them to always stay together and never let anything separate them again.
Armaan and Abhira complete the wedding rounds, while Abhira quietly signals Tanya about something.
Finally, Armaan fills Abhira’s hairline with vermillion, completing their wedding. Abhira gifts Armaan a locket containing their picture and lovingly makes him wear it. The newlyweds embrace each other.
Armaan then asks Abhira to dance with him. Although she reminds him that his surgery is only a few hours away, Armaan insists on celebrating the happiest moment of their lives. He remains hopeful that the surgery will be successful and that they have a beautiful future ahead.
Their happiness is short-lived as Armaan suddenly collapses.
The entire Poddar family is left shocked.
Vidya refuses to believe anything can happen to her son. Abhira desperately asks Armaan what is wrong as he struggles in pain. Realizing his condition is worsening rapidly, she decides to rush him to the hospital immediately.
Abhira silently blames herself for believing they would have more time together after the wedding.
At the hospital, Aryan initially struggles to start the car, but Abhira quickly helps him. The family manages to bring Armaan inside, where Dr. Pradhan declares that an immediate surgery is necessary.
Abhira reassures Armaan that she will remain by his side throughout the ordeal.
Dr. Pradhan asks Madhav to urgently arrange an oxygen cylinder. Madhav leaves along with Myra and Mukti to find one.
Before Armaan is taken inside, he and Abhira emotionally confess their love for each other once again.
