Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 4th July 2026 Written Update: Armaan Begins His Tough Recovery as Myra Refuses to Forgive the Poddars

Today’s episode begins with Abhira noticing Dr. Pradhan’s serious expression after Armaan’s surgery. Worried, she asks if something went wrong during the operation.

Dr. Pradhan reassures her that the surgery was successful but explains that the real challenge has only just begun. She tells Abhira that recovery from brain surgery is much more difficult than the operation itself. Armaan may take time to walk, eat, speak, and perform everyday activities normally again. She reminds Abhira that Armaan will need constant care, patience, and emotional support throughout his recovery.

Meanwhile, Armaan regains consciousness. Determined to get out of bed on his own, he tries to stand but immediately loses his balance. Abhira rushes to support him.

Elsewhere, Kaveri prepares to welcome Myra and Mukti into the Poddar house.

However, Myra refuses to step inside.

She reminds everyone how the Poddars once insulted Armaan and threw him out of the house. She says they remained silent only because Abhira wanted peace, but unlike Abhira, she has not forgotten the humiliation. According to Myra, Abhira welcomed the family only for Armaan’s sake, and now that both the wedding and surgery are over, there is no reason to continue pretending everything is normal.

The Poddars are left speechless.

Back at the hospital, Armaan struggles to even lift a glass of water. Feeling helpless after failing to move his hand properly, he becomes frustrated. Abhira comforts him, reminding him that he has already won the biggest battle by surviving the surgery and that recovery will take time.

Vidya, Kaveri, and the rest of the family try to convince Myra and Mukti to stay at the Poddar house. Vidya explains that Abhira cannot handle Armaan alone and that he needs a peaceful environment while recovering.

Tanya also points out that Myra and Mukti have their studies to focus on, but they can still support their parents during this difficult phase.

Meanwhile, Armaan tells Abhira that he wants to return home.

Abhira gently explains that he needs proper medical care and comfort before going back. She promises that once he becomes stronger, she will take him home.

Understanding her concern, Armaan finally agrees to stay.

Eventually, Myra and Mukti decide to remain with the family until Armaan recovers.

Just then, Disha approaches Myra in an attempt to reconcile.

Before she can speak, Aryan stops her and firmly says that he cannot betray Armaan by trusting her again. Disha is left shocked by his harsh response.

Later, during mealtime, Myra and Mukti refuse to eat with the Poddars, making it clear that their anger has not faded.

Armaan wakes up and quietly signals that he wants something.

When Abhira repeatedly asks what he needs, Armaan hesitates in embarrassment before admitting that he wants to use the washroom.

Abhira lovingly helps him without making him feel uncomfortable.

Later, Kaveri offers to take care of Armaan for the night and asks Abhira to get some rest. Armaan notices Kaveri sitting beside him, silently watching over him.

As the days pass, Abhira patiently helps Armaan learn to walk, speak, and eat again. Every small task becomes a challenge, leaving Armaan exhausted whenever he fails to respond or move as he wants.

Myra and Mukti spend time watching television with him, trying to keep his spirits high.

Meanwhile, Abhira refuses to accept any legal cases so she can dedicate all her time to Armaan’s recovery.

Manoj and Manisha step forward to support her with work responsibilities.

Later, Sanjay, Kajal, and Krish bring Armaan’s old legal case files. Sanjay believes revisiting the successful cases Armaan fought in the past may help stimulate his memory and confidence. Kajal apologizes for her past mistakes and sincerely asks if they can now support him.

Watching Armaan struggle through every step of recovery, Vidya quietly breaks down in tears.

The episode ends.

Precap

Abhira tells Armaan that he is recovering well and she will continue taking care of him no matter what. Vidya informs Abhira that Armaan has hired a nurse for his care. When Abhira insists on looking after him herself, Armaan gently refuses her help. A heartbroken Abhira asks if he wants a break from her. Armaan replies that it is Abhira who needs a break.

Review

The episode shifts from the relief of a successful surgery to the emotional reality of Armaan’s difficult rehabilitation. Harsh truths, family guilt, and Abhira’s unwavering devotion make this an emotionally powerful chapter, while Myra’s refusal to forgive the Poddars adds another layer of unresolved family tension.
