Anupama 7th July 2026 Written Update: Prem Confesses to Stealing Anupama’s Diary
Today’s episode begins with Anupama saying that Prerna lived in the Shah house as a daughter, and now she has become their daughter-in-law. Since she has always been Prerna’s aunt, Anupama says she will perform the welcoming ritual herself.
She emotionally explains that while a daughter leaves her parents’ home, a daughter-in-law enters a new one with fresh responsibilities. Anupama adds that Prerna is fortunate to have the love of both families. She asks Vasundhara and Meeta if they have any objection. Leela says Prerna should enter the house with a promise to care for her new family.
Anupama prepares for Prerna’s farewell while Digvijay performs the emotional rituals.
Meanwhile, Prem suggests taking Ansh and Prerna for a short ride so that Prerna can make a proper bridal entry into the house. Rahi supports his idea.
Vasundhara criticizes Anupama for turning an emotional farewell into a game.
Anupama reminds Vasundhara about the doll weddings they played as children. When Vasundhara admits she used to cry even during those pretend farewells, Anupama asks why she cannot appreciate the emotions behind a real bride’s farewell.
After Prerna’s emotional departure, Digvijay says performing her kanyadaan feels like he has finally fulfilled the responsibility he once wished to perform for Saavi.
Soon afterward, the Shah family warmly welcomes Ansh and Prerna into their home.
Digvijay and Prem then reveal that the next round of the cooking competition will be a family round, where five family members can participate alongside each chef.
Anupama gets excited about the challenge.
Leela immediately volunteers to join Anupama’s team, while Vasundhara announces that she will support Prem. The two elders begin arguing, with Leela accusing Vasundhara of copying her.
Prem calmly says he will personally choose his teammates because he wants only the best cooks on his side.
Kinjal teasingly asks if Prem no longer considers Anupama a great chef.
At that moment, Paritosh steps forward and deliberately tries to create trouble.
He sarcastically remarks that Prem looks unusually relaxed before such an important competition. Prem silently signals him to stop, but Paritosh ignores the warning.
Paritosh claims Prem and Shruti already know all the secret recipes, which is why they are enjoying the wedding instead of preparing for the competition.
He then asks Anupama about her missing recipe diary.
Kinjal immediately confirms that the diary has disappeared.
Paritosh shocks everyone by revealing that the diary is currently in the Kothari house.
He directly accuses Prem of stealing it.
Anupama refuses to believe the accusation and asks Paritosh to stop making baseless allegations.
Vasundhara also defends Prem, pointing out that Pakhi wrongly accused Banku of theft recently, and now Paritosh is doing the same with Prem.
Paritosh insists that Prem cannot escape this time. He asks Prem to swear on Rahi and tell everyone the truth.
Unable to lie any longer, Prem finally admits that he stole Anupama’s diary.
The entire Shah family is left stunned.
Ansh says he believed Prem had changed but now realizes he attended the wedding only to steal the diary. Prerna says she feels disgusted by his actions.
The Shah family lashes out at Prem.
Khyati says Prem has lost all values, while Mahi even suspects that he may have burned Anupama’s competition form.
Prem is shocked by the accusation.
Shruti comes forward to defend Prem and boldly claims that Anupama herself forced Prem to become a thief.
The argument grows even more intense.
Ishani and Mahi accuse Rahi of being Prem’s partner in the crime, but Prem immediately clarifies that Rahi knew nothing about the theft.
Digvijay questions Shruti, asking how she can call Prem and Rahi her children while encouraging them to walk down the wrong path.
Prem finally admits that Anupama is his biggest competitor and says that everything is fair in love and war. He declares that winning the competition matters more than anything else and that defeating Anupama has become his mission.
Anupama calmly tells Prem that if he truly wanted victory, he should have earned it honestly. She tells him to keep the diary because winning through dishonesty has no value.
Vasundhara then asks Prem to leave with her.
Left heartbroken, Anupama remembers all the beautiful moments she once shared with Prem.
She apologizes to Ansh and Prerna for the drama that spoiled their special day.
Ansh comforts her, saying everyone already knew the Kotharis would create problems, yet they still invited them because they wanted the family together.
Prerna becomes emotional as she feels her wedding day has been ruined.
Leela taunts Prerna by saying she always wanted Prem on her side.
Finally, Anupama questions Paritosh about why he chose to expose Prem only today if he had known the truth all along.
Kinjal suspects that Paritosh had planned to blackmail Prem first.
Anupama is left completely shattered.
The episode ends.
