Do Duniya Ek Dil 16th July 2026 Written Update: Shivay Learns Sonam Tried to Hurt Aadhya
The episode begins with Monica explaining to Aadhya that she accidentally slipped and fell on Shivay. Shivay questions Monica about wearing his clothes. Monica explains that her own clothes were completely wet, so she had no choice but to wear the shirt she found. Aadhya tells Monica that she could have simply asked her for clothes instead of wearing Shivay’s shirt. Monica apologizes before quietly leaving.
Meanwhile, Padma visits Sundar and pretends to sympathize with him after Baldev wrongly sent him to jail. She claims she defended him before Baldev, but he refused to listen. Padma cleverly tries to poison Sundar’s mind against Baldev and his family.
However, Sundar refuses to fall into her trap. He says Baldev has done countless favors for his family and that he is even willing to sacrifice his life for him if needed. Seeing her plan fail, Padma leaves disappointed.
Elsewhere, Baldev confronts Shivay and accuses him of humiliating him through Aadhya. He claims Shivay is trying to defeat him by exposing Aadhya’s social media truth before their marriage.
Shivay firmly replies that he is not interested in games of victory and defeat. He reminds Baldev that he only exposed the truth before applying sindoor because he believed Aadhya deserved honesty. Shivay further declares that the only relationship between them now is that of debtor and creditor regarding the ancestral property.
Baldev refuses to back down. He announces that he plans to demolish the ancestral house and build a shopping mall in its place. He adds that he will only reconsider his decision if Shivay sends Aadhya back to her parental home. Shivay refuses to be pressured.
Back home, Shivay asks Pratima for water, but Monica offers it instead. He notices that Monica is running a fever and asks what happened. Monica admits that after Aadhya became upset about her wearing Shivay’s shirt, she changed back into her wet clothes, which caused her fever.
Sonam immediately takes advantage of the situation and provokes Shivay against Aadhya.
Angry, Shivay confronts Aadhya and accuses her of humiliating Monica over something so trivial. Aadhya repeatedly tries to explain that she had even offered Monica her own clothes, but Shivay refuses to listen and walks away.
Aadhya follows him, hoping to clear the misunderstanding. She explains that her reaction was only because Monica was wearing Shivay’s clothes, not because she wanted to insult her. However, Shivay remains upset and leaves.
Soon after, masked kidnappers attempt to abduct Aadhya once again.
Ahmed and Nandish arrive just in time and rescue her. Shivay also reaches the spot and joins the fight against the attackers.
While one kidnapper manages to escape, Ahmed, Nandish, and Shivay capture the other. After removing the mask, they are shocked to discover that the kidnapper is Bunty.
Inspector Rajveer immediately arrests Bunty and takes him into custody.
Ahmed and Nandish then finally convince Shivay that they were never kidnappers. They reveal that they were being blackmailed and forced into the conspiracy. To prove their innocence, they show everyone a disturbing video of Khushi lying unconscious while the real kidnappers threaten to kill her.
Shivay informs the Pandey family that Bunty has been arrested. Hearing this, Khushi expresses hope that everything will soon become normal.
At the police station, Inspector Rajveer brutally interrogates Bunty and demands to know who is behind the kidnapping conspiracy. Bunty confidently mocks the inspector, claiming he will secure bail very soon and refuses to reveal anything.
Later, Sonam secretly places sharp needles on Aadhya’s bed to injure her.
Monica witnesses everything and desperately tries to stop Sonam, but Sonam silences her.
Just then, Aadhya enters the room. Sonam quickly invents an excuse and leaves with Monica.
As Aadhya is about to sit on the bed, Monica suddenly pulls her away. Surprised, Aadhya checks the bed and discovers the hidden needles beneath the blanket.
Realizing Monica has saved her from getting seriously hurt, Aadhya sincerely thanks her.
After leaving the room, Sonam angrily questions Monica for interfering. Monica boldly replies that she could never support something so wrong and admits she would have exposed Sonam if necessary.
Unknown to both of them, Shivay overhears their entire conversation through the window.
Meanwhile, Padma secretly meets the escaped kidnapper and scolds him after Bunty’s arrest. The criminal admits he barely escaped himself and hints that Bunty is only a pawn in a much larger conspiracy.
Later that night, Shivay notices Monica quietly leaving the house. He stops her and asks why she is leaving.
Monica emotionally explains that Sonam now considers her an enemy because she refused to support her wrongdoing. Shivay appreciates Monica’s honesty and tells her she should stay. Monica says she wishes she had a truthful friend like him. Shivay assures her that he can be that friend and brings her back inside.
Before ending the day, Shivay calls Inspector Rajveer to learn about Bunty’s interrogation. Rajveer reveals that Bunty has refused to reveal anything but confirms that someone powerful is operating behind him.
The episode ends.
