Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 18th July 2026 Written Update: Abhira Faces a Mob Attack Before Her Big Court Battle
Today’s episode begins with Tanya quietly packing her belongings to leave the Poddar house. Abhira and Arman stop her and ask why she is leaving without informing anyone. Tanya says that if she tells the family, they will only create unnecessary drama. She accidentally reveals that Kajal is leaving with her too before quickly trying to cover up her mistake.
Abhira and Arman assure Tanya that they will keep her secret. Tanya requests them to help Krish return to the right path. She says Krish is not a bad person but has simply lost his way. Arman sadly remarks that Krish is losing someone as precious as Tanya. Tanya admits that she was equally responsible for the failure of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Aryan spends time sleeping beside Disha. Elsewhere, Krish demands that Kajal return his important documents. Kajal calmly replies that she is leaving with Tanya and advises him to learn how to take care of his own belongings. Krish assumes Kajal is only pretending to leave.
Kajal warns Krish not to touch one of her boxes because it contains valuable things. After she walks away, Krish secretly opens the box and is overwhelmed with emotion when he discovers that Kajal has carefully preserved all of his childhood awards and achievements. At that moment, Sanjay approaches Krish seeking his support. Krish finally confronts his father, blaming him for leading him down the wrong path. He declares that he never wants to become a person like Sanjay.
Later, Arman secretly asks Vidya to help him with a surprise for Abhira and requests her not to reveal anything. However, Abhira becomes suspicious and questions Arman about what he is hiding. Arman avoids answering and instead jokes that he has gained weight. Abhira laughs at his adorable behavior. Soon, Myra and Mukti spend some cheerful family time with Arman and Abhira.
Vidya unknowingly spoils Arman’s surprise by revealing the newly prepared courtroom setup for Abhira. Touched by the thoughtful gesture, Abhira tells Arman that this is the best surprise he could have given her. Arman happily asks whether she truly likes it, and Abhira warmly appreciates his effort.
Elsewhere, Sanjay has a nightmare in which Abhira throws him out of the office after taking control. Determined to stop her success, he secretly mixes something into Abhira’s ice cream.
The Poddar family gathers to wish Abhira good luck before her important court appearance. Soon after eating the ice cream, Abhira begins feeling dizzy. Arman becomes worried and asks what is happening to her.
At the same time, Kajal becomes emotional while reliving old memories with the family. Krish pleads with Kajal not to leave the house, but Kajal firmly refuses and decides to continue with her plan to leave alongside Tanya.
Despite feeling unwell, Abhira insists on going to court. Arman offers to drive her there. However, as they prepare to leave, a furious mob gathers outside the Poddar house protesting against Abhira.
Tanya informs Abhira that the crowd is angry because of a controversial social media post made from her account. Abhira is shocked and quickly realizes that her social media account has been hacked. She desperately tries to explain to everyone that she never posted anything offensive, but the angry crowd refuses to believe her.
The situation quickly spirals out of control as the mob forcefully enters the Poddar house. Arman immediately tells Abhira to stay inside for her own safety, but Abhira remains determined to attend the court hearing despite the danger. Disha becomes anxious, especially while thinking about Aryan’s safety as the chaos continues.
