The episode begins with Karan and Nandini growing increasingly anxious about Raunak’s whereabouts. Nandini believes Gautam must know where Raunak is and asks Shobha to call him once again. At that very moment, Gautam walks into the house, raising everyone’s hopes that he has brought Raunak back.
However, Gautam surprises the family by claiming that Raunak was never with him. Everyone assumes he is joking, but Gautam firmly insists that he has no idea where Raunak is. His response only increases Karan’s frustration.
Unable to control his anger, Karan lashes out at both Nandini and Gautam. He blames Nandini for trusting Gautam with such an important responsibility and accuses Gautam of pretending to help despite being incapable of doing anything. Calling Gautam a loser, Karan mocks him for sacrificing his self-respect by approaching him, only to fail in protecting Raunak.
Gautam calmly listens to Karan’s accusations before responding. He tells Karan that if he had not stepped forward, he would have permanently lost his son. Just then, Raunak walks into the house, shocking everyone.
Raunak reveals that Gautam successfully secured his bail and also managed to clear all the police records related to the case. The family is relieved to see him safe.
A flashback explains how Gautam solved the crisis. He meets Mr. Narang and reminds him that Karan had once spared him despite his previous scandal. Gautam warns that if the false charges against Raunak are not withdrawn, Mr. Narang himself could face imprisonment. Realizing the consequences, Mr. Narang agrees to settle the matter, allowing Raunak to walk free without any stain on his record.
After hearing the truth, the family questions Gautam about why he never informed them earlier. Gautam explains that he never claimed to be personally with Raunak. Instead, his legal team handled the formalities while he quietly completed the work behind the scenes. He then reminds Karan how quickly he judged him without knowing the facts.
Damini also questions Karan’s behaviour and asks what he has to say now that Gautam has successfully rescued Raunak from such a serious situation.
Nandini sincerely thanks Gautam for helping the family during their difficult time. Gautam politely refuses her gratitude. Instead, he tells his son to begin making grand wedding arrangements because there is finally someone who will contribute financially to the celebrations.
Karan, however, refuses to acknowledge Gautam’s efforts. He insists that Gautam merely performed his professional duty because he was paid for it and therefore deserves no appreciation.
The following day, another confrontation breaks out between the two men. Karan notices Gautam inviting his own friends to the wedding and accuses him of trying to insult him by taking control of the arrangements. Gautam refuses to back down, leading to yet another heated argument.
In the middle of their quarrel, Tulsi enters the hall. Watching the endless ego clash, she sarcastically comments on their behaviour before casually asking Shobha to serve her halwa.
Karan taunts Tulsi for ordering food only for herself and calls her selfish. Tulsi immediately gives him a fitting reply. She reminds him that everyone in the house has always acted out of selfish motives. If they cannot show genuine love and respect to each other, she sees no reason why she should behave differently.
In one of the episode’s most memorable moments, Tulsi asks Shobha to place her chair in the centre of the hall. She comfortably sits down, puts on her earphones, and peacefully listens to music while Karan and Gautam continue shouting at each other. Her silent protest leaves both men looking foolish as the family watches the drama unfold.
