Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 21st July 2026 Written Update: Tulsi Takes Charge as Karan and Gautam Hide Mihir’s Secret
Today’s episode begins with yet another heated confrontation between Gautam and Karan. The brothers once again start blaming each other, while Nandini quietly watches Tulsi’s calm and composed behaviour with admiration. As the argument intensifies, Gautam complains that Karan is crossing every limit, expecting Tulsi to support him.
However, Tulsi gives no reaction. She simply remains silent, leaving both brothers confused. Gautam is stunned by her unexpected response. Only after the argument ends and both brothers walk away does Tulsi remove the headphones she had been wearing, revealing that she had not heard a single word of their fight.
Meanwhile, Damini discusses the wedding arrangements with the priest. She asks Pandit Ji to suggest the most suitable place for setting up the wedding mandap inside Shantiniketan. Around the same time, Gautam finalizes a wedding planner to oversee the preparations.
After carefully considering the house layout, Pandit Ji recommends that the mandap should be erected in Karan’s section of the house. The suggestion immediately sparks another disagreement. Karan objects strongly, while Gautam asks Pandit Ji to choose another location.
Damini, however, refuses to change the venue. She explains that arranging the ceremony elsewhere would increase the expenses, which the family cannot afford at the moment. Once again, Karan and Gautam begin arguing over the issue.
Hearing the commotion, Tulsi arrives to find out what is happening. Damini explains the situation, but before anyone else can continue, Karan interrupts and objects once again.
Tulsi firmly reminds everyone that Shantiniketan is her home and that the final decision belongs to her. Without any hesitation, she announces that the mandap will remain exactly where it has been planned.
Karan refuses to accept her decision. Tulsi calmly tells him that if he is unhappy with the arrangement, he is free to leave the house. Furious, Karan declares that he is not afraid of anyone, including Tulsi.
Gautam asks Karan what he intends to do next. In anger, Karan announces that he will leave Shantiniketan forever. He instructs Rounak to inform Samira and Garima to pack their belongings immediately.
Nandini quickly intervenes and tries to stop him. She reminds Karan that Rounak has only recently started his business, while Samira has just begun her new job. Walking away now would destroy everything they have worked so hard to build.
Karan insists that he can rebuild his life from the beginning if necessary. Nandini gently warns him that earning money again may be possible, but losing the family and children could create wounds that never heal.
She further explains that Gautam is deliberately provoking him into making an emotional decision. If Karan leaves the house in anger, Gautam will achieve exactly what he wants. Nandini urges him to think carefully before making such an irreversible decision.
Her words finally calm Karan down. Realizing that acting impulsively would only benefit Gautam, Karan decides not to leave the house after all. He reluctantly tells Gautam to build the wedding mandap wherever he wants.
Just then, Sahil returns home. He first seeks blessings from Gayatri before meeting Tulsi. Looking around the living room, Sahil notices that the dividing line and the sofa arrangement have changed. Curious, he asks Tulsi about the transformation.
Tulsi smiles and explains that her children themselves decided to remove the unnecessary barriers and restore harmony inside the house. She happily says that everything is slowly returning to normal.
Karan immediately clarifies that although he erased the dividing line, it does not mean he has emotionally accepted Gautam. His bitterness remains unchanged.
Sahil then makes an important announcement. He reveals that he has decided to settle permanently at Shantiniketan. Karan is disappointed because he believes Gautam has somehow influenced Sahil into staying.
Tulsi, however, dismisses the misunderstanding. She lovingly tells Sahil that all his brothers genuinely care about him and assures him that he is free to live wherever he feels happiest.
Later, Damini approaches Tulsi to discuss the colour theme for the wedding outfits. While they are talking, Tulsi notices that Damini has unknowingly crossed the boundary that previously divided the house. She jokingly reminds Damini about crossing the “LOC,” prompting Damini to quietly return to her side. Watching the cheerful wedding discussions, Gayatri becomes delighted that happiness is gradually returning to the family.
Amid the preparations, Tulsi suddenly realizes that she has not met the true head of the family. She asks Gautam about Mihir’s whereabouts. Turning towards Gayatri, she wonders why nobody has mentioned Mihir since her return.
Tulsi then questions Sobha directly and asks why she never told her anything about her father. She repeatedly asks where Mihir is and why everyone is avoiding the topic.
Her repeated questions create visible tension inside the house. Family members exchange nervous glances but remain silent, leaving Tulsi increasingly confused and worried.
Unable to get any answers, Tulsi walks away emotionally, sensing that something serious is being hidden from her.
Meanwhile, Karan and Gautam secretly meet to discuss the situation. Both brothers agree that under no circumstances should Tulsi learn the truth about Mihir. Karan admits that their mother will become extremely restless if she discovers the secret and fears that they may not be able to hide it for much longer.
Nevertheless, they decide to continue keeping the truth hidden until they find a better solution.
Elsewhere, the wedding preparations continue. Tulsi examines a saree selected for the ceremony but remarks that its colour looks too light. Sobha asks Vaishnavi to help choose a better option. Vaishnavi selects another saree, which Tulsi immediately approves.
Tulsi then asks Sobha to choose suitable dresses for Samira and Garima since Nandini has gone to visit her sister.
Despite all the ongoing celebrations, Karan remains determined to distance himself from the wedding. He instructs the younger members of the family not to attend the ceremony. Samira decides to leave for Mahabaleshwar, while Sobha later informs Tulsi that Karan has no intention of participating in the wedding celebrations.
The episode ends with Tulsi unknowingly moving closer to discovering the truth that everyone is desperately trying to hide.
