Do Duniya Ek Dil 24th July 2026 Written Update: Vivaan’s Confession Changes Everything, Shivay Walks Free
The episode begins with Padma assuring Baldev that the danger has passed. She tells him she is willing to risk her own life to protect him. Baldev is touched by her loyalty and smiles at her words.
Meanwhile, Aadhya returns to Baldev’s house carrying her luggage. Baldev sarcastically asks whether the Pandey family threw her out. Aadhya firmly replies that she came back on her own because Baldev had promised to secure Shivay’s release from jail. She reminds him to keep his word.
Baldev tells Aadhya to go to her room and says he will decide the next morning whether Shivay should be released. Refusing to back down, Aadhya insists that he fulfil his promise immediately. Baldev loses his temper and shouts at her.
Padma steps in and asks Baldev to speak calmly since Aadhya is still his daughter. Baldev bitterly says that Aadhya is no longer the daughter he raised and accuses her of returning only to remind him of his promise. Hurt, Aadhya walks away.
Later, Padma meets Aadhya privately. Aadhya admits she no longer understands whose side Padma is on after seeing her support Baldev in front of everyone. Padma reminds her that she had already explained she must publicly stand by Baldev. Realizing her mistake, Aadhya apologizes. Padma encourages her, saying she can still make a difference by staying in the house.
Elsewhere, Suraj proudly comes out of a gambling den, claiming he has won back both Sonam’s jewellery and a large amount of money. Sonam points out that he only won because she secretly arranged the cards in his favour. When she asks where the money is, Suraj remembers that he left it at home.
Vivaan then meets Baldev and reveals a major problem. He tells Baldev that Aadhya confronted him about the examination paper leak. During the confrontation, Aadhya questioned how someone like him could be involved in such a serious crime. Provoked by her words, Vivaan lost his temper and confessed everything. He admitted that he masterminded the paper leak, scored 99.7%, and became the state topper through fraud.
Baldev is furious after hearing this confession. He immediately asks where Aadhya is. Vivaan says she has gone to meet Ruhi. Baldev repeatedly calls Aadhya, but she refuses to answer.
At the Pandey house, neighbours gather and begin speaking badly about Aadhya. Pratima strongly defends her, reminding everyone how much Aadhya has sacrificed for the family. Despite Pratima’s efforts, the neighbours continue gossiping before finally leaving.
Back at Baldev’s house, a servant informs him that the police have arrived to arrest Vivaan. Panicked, Baldev orders the servant to hide Vivaan in his room.
Baldev reassures a frightened Vivaan that nobody will take him away. He asks Bhima to keep a close watch on him.
The police inform Baldev that they now possess both Vivaan’s video confession and Aadhya’s official statement linking him to the exam paper leak. Baldev refuses to hand over Vivaan.
Just then, the minister arrives and asks Baldev to cooperate with the police. Even then, Baldev refuses to surrender Vivaan. Komal suggests a solution, explaining that if Aadhya withdraws her statement within 24 hours, the arrest can be delayed. Baldev agrees to the plan, and the police leave for the time being.
Meanwhile, Suraj brings Shivay home after securing his release from jail. Shivay learns from Sonam that Pratima and Khushi have gone to the temple and that Aadhya left the house immediately after his arrest. Deep in thought, Shivay quietly heads to his room.
Later, Yashvardhan visits Baldev to discuss his proposed marriage with Aadhya now that she has returned home. Already irritated, Baldev asks him to leave.
Yashvardhan refuses to back down and begins blackmailing Baldev. He threatens to reveal that Baldev himself asked him to fake his own death if the wedding does not happen.
Before the situation escalates, Pratima steps in, slaps Yashvardhan, and manages to send him away by creating a distraction.
The episode ends.
