Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 25th July 2026 Written Update: Myra’s Insecurity Worries Abhira, While Sanjay Targets Her Again

The episode begins with Arman finding Myra’s torn thesis. Surprised, he asks why she destroyed it when it was actually well-written. Myra sadly replies that the thesis is terrible and not good enough.

Elsewhere, Abhira blames herself for failing as a mother. She tells Kaveri that Sanjay was right about her being irresponsible because she couldn’t even notice the anxiety Myra had been hiding.

Kaveri immediately stops Abhira from believing Sanjay’s harsh words. She reminds her that Sanjay constantly criticizes everyone and asks why she continues to take his opinions so seriously.

Meanwhile, Myra opens up to Arman about what has been bothering her. She says that as a father, he naturally likes everything she does, but she knows her thesis is nowhere near as good as Mukti’s.

Arman gently asks Myra why she suddenly started treating everything like a competition.

Myra reveals that Vidya kept comparing her work with Mukti’s thesis, making her feel pressured to prove herself.

Arman is shocked to learn that the constant comparisons pushed Myra into such an unhealthy mindset.

Back with Kaveri, Abhira continues blaming herself. She says a good mother would have noticed her daughter’s emotional struggles much earlier.

Kaveri patiently consoles her, reminding her that every parent makes mistakes and that one incident does not define motherhood.

Meanwhile, Myra reflects on how everything changed. She wonders when she became so obsessed with defeating Mukti instead of simply doing her best. Realizing she hurt her sister, Myra begins regretting her actions.

Arman later comforts Abhira and firmly tells her not to question herself as a mother. Kaveri also asks Arman to continue supporting Abhira because she needs reassurance more than criticism.

The couple decides they must help both daughters before the rivalry grows worse.

Later, Myra approaches Mukti with a chocolate and sincerely apologizes. She admits that she secretly looked at Mukti’s thesis and wants to explain why.

Before Myra can finish speaking, Mukti misunderstands the situation and angrily walks away without listening.

From a distance, Kaveri and Vidya witness the growing distance between the two girls.

Elsewhere, Disha speaks to Mamta over the phone.

Mamta asks when the Poddar family plans to organize the traditional baby blessing ceremony.

Disha admits she knows very little about the ritual.

Mamta explains its importance and says that because of Damyanti, they cannot make many requests to the Poddars. She also promises to send jamun for Disha.

Disha recalls Kajal warning her that eating too many jamuns could affect the baby’s complexion. Mamta advises her not to overthink such comments and simply follow the family’s traditions.

Meanwhile, Kaveri and Vidya decide to reunite Myra and Mukti.

However, both girls refuse to speak to each other.

Kaveri remains optimistic and says they will eventually reconcile.

Vidya comments that Myra and Mukti are not sisters by blood.

Unfortunately, Mukti overhears the remark, leaving her visibly hurt.

Determined to spend more time with her daughters, Abhira decides to work from home so she can balance both her professional and personal responsibilities.

Sanjay immediately taunts her decision.

He sarcastically remarks that if women eventually have to stay at home, there is no point in working outside in the first place.

This time, Kajal refuses to stay silent.

She gives Sanjay a strong reality check, reminding him that Abhira works tirelessly to manage both her career and her family, while he only criticizes her without appreciating her efforts.

Later, Myra apologizes to Abhira for hiding everything she had been going through.

Mukti also apologizes for not informing Abhira about Myra’s emotional state earlier.

Listening to both daughters, Abhira realizes the issue between them is much deeper than she initially thought and decides she must resolve it before it causes permanent damage.

The episode ends.

Precap: On Myra’s 18th birthday, Abhira and Arman tell her she can ask one adult question. Myra asks Abhira when she realized Arman was the love of her life. Abhira lovingly says Arman became her happiest place, her closest friend, and her entire world. Myra then surprises both of them by introducing Kabir into the conversation, leaving Arman and Abhira stunned.

Our Take:

The episode explores the emotional impact of comparisons within a family. Myra’s insecurity feels relatable, while Abhira’s guilt highlights the pressure many parents experience when balancing work and family. Kajal finally standing up to Sanjay was another satisfying moment, and the upcoming birthday celebration promises emotional revelations that could change several relationships.

Rating: 4.5/5
