Bareilly Ke Bacchan 28th July 2026 Written Update: Sangam Refuses to Attend the Reception, Ganga Senses Krishna’s Secret
The episode begins with Krishna going to meet Sangam before the reception. Hoping to convince her one last time, he asks her to stand by him and attend the function as his wife.
Sangam immediately questions him.
She asks whether he has finally told the truth to his family.
Krishna avoids giving a direct answer and instead appeals to her emotions. He tells Sangam that his family’s reputation is at stake and requests her to pretend to be his wife until the reception is over.
Sangam is not convinced.
She reminds Krishna that when she agreed to the plan, he had promised it would only be a fake marriage. Instead, he secretly got their marriage legally registered without her knowledge.
She says that even if she acts like his wife for one day and leaves for the hostel afterward, the truth will eventually come out, bringing even greater humiliation to both families.
Sangam once again urges Krishna to tell everyone the truth instead of building more lies.
Elsewhere, Pooja approaches Satluj with an unusual request.
She asks him to introduce her as his girlfriend in front of everyone.
Satluj immediately refuses.
He firmly tells Pooja that she will never become his girlfriend before walking away.
After Satluj leaves, Chotu consoles Pooja.
He confidently tells her not to lose hope because no one understands Satluj better than she does.
Back in Sangam’s room, Krishna makes one final attempt to change her mind.
He pleads with her to attend the reception and help save his family’s honour.
Sangam refuses once again.
She makes her decision clear.
She says she will not step outside the room until Krishna confesses the truth to his family. After that, she expects him to personally drop her at the girls’ hostel.

A little later, Aarti returns with Krishna’s clothes.
She tells Ganga that Sangam appears very modern and doesn’t know how to wear a saree properly.
Without suspecting anything, Ganga immediately asks Aarti to help Sangam get ready.
Aarti agrees and goes back to assist her.
Krishna changes into his reception outfit.
Ganga smiles proudly after seeing him dressed up.
She tells him he looks handsome but cannot ignore the worry on his face.
Sensing something is bothering him, she gently asks whether he is hiding anything.
Krishna forces a smile and denies that anything is wrong.
Although Ganga accepts his answer, she still feels something is troubling him.
Meanwhile, Bhushan’s wife keeps encouraging the guests to believe that Sangam has no intention of attending the reception.
She confidently declares that if the bride hasn’t stepped out by now, she never will.
Inside the room, Sangam quietly makes an unexpected request.
She asks Aarti whether she can help her reach a girls’ hostel instead of attending the reception.
Aarti is completely shocked by the request and immediately asks Sangam why she wants to leave.
