Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 29th July 2026 Written Update: Abhira’s Pregnancy Confusion Ends as Myra and Mukti Finally Reconcile
The episode begins with Manisha catching Arman behaving suspiciously. She teasingly asks him whether he has finally quit smoking. Arman quickly makes an excuse, hoping to avoid further questions.
Noticing the packet in his hand, Manisha asks what he is carrying. Arman nervously claims it contains chocolates. Manisha playfully demands that he share them with her, but Arman refuses, saying he never shares his chocolates with anyone. During the confusion, Arman once again misplaces the pregnancy test kit.
Meanwhile, Kajal and Manisha quietly discuss the situation. They conclude that Arman and Abhira are probably not sure about the pregnancy yet, which is why they are hiding everything from the family.
Elsewhere, Abhira begins imagining what life would be like if she had another baby. She hopes a new child might help fill the emotional void left by BSP. At the same time, she wonders whether she would be able to balance motherhood while taking care of Myra, Mukti, and her work.
Arman meets Abhira and apologizes for failing to bring the pregnancy kit once again. He assures her that he will collect one from the office instead.
Meanwhile, at work, Manoj tells Tanya that she should enjoy her vacation while he takes care of the office responsibilities. Krish learns about Tanya’s plans, and Manoj also asks Krish what he has decided about his own future.
Back home, Abhira drifts into a dream about welcoming a new baby into the family. The dream soon turns into anxiety as she imagines herself struggling to handle the newborn along with Myra and Mukti. She fears she may not be able to manage everything at once.
Elsewhere, Sanjay becomes secretly delighted after assuming that Abhira is pregnant. He believes that if she stays at home, he will get complete control over the office. However, Arman firmly stands by Abhira and continues supporting her.
The tension inside the house rises again when Myra and Mukti resume fighting over their exchanged theses. Their constant arguments finally test Abhira’s patience. Frustrated, she scolds both girls and refuses to speak to either of them until they resolve their differences.
Soon, the Poddar family corners Arman and excitedly congratulates him, believing that Abhira is expecting a baby.
A surprised Arman quickly clarifies that nothing has been confirmed yet and asks everyone not to jump to conclusions.
Myra and Mukti also overhear the conversation and begin worrying. They fear that once the baby arrives, everyone will judge them differently or their importance in the family might reduce.
Meanwhile, Arman encourages Abhira to stop worrying and finally take the pregnancy test so they can know the truth.
Elsewhere, Manoj clears up the misunderstanding between Myra and Mukti by revealing that he was responsible for accidentally exchanging their theses. Realizing they had been blaming each other unnecessarily, both sisters finally make peace and end their fight.
At home, the family continues discussing Abhira’s possible pregnancy.
Disha jokingly wonders whether Abhira might even be expecting twins, while Vidya grows anxious and worries that another pregnancy could be risky for Abhira’s health.
Kaveri immediately asks Vidya to remain positive instead of assuming the worst.
Later, Myra and Mukti happily inform Abhira that they have withdrawn their theses and resolved all their differences. They then excitedly ask her about the pregnancy news.
The truth is finally revealed.
Abhira’s pregnancy test comes back negative.
Vidya feels relieved and says that Abhira’s life has been protected from another risky pregnancy. Kaveri gently explains to Abhira that excessive stress can sometimes create pregnancy-like symptoms and affect the body.
Although disappointed, Abhira appreciates Arman’s constant support throughout the emotional journey and thanks him for always putting her well-being first.
Madhav points out that the pregnancy misunderstanding unexpectedly helped Myra and Mukti end their fight.
Myra happily tells Abhira that she is actually relieved she is not pregnant because she wants Abhira’s love to remain equally shared between her and Mukti.
The emotional moment brings the entire family closer together.
