Tum Dena Saath Mera 1st August 2026 Written Update: Sudha Shocks Rakshit by Announcing His Engagement to Ira

The episode begins with Arvind bringing Rakshit and Aparajita back to reality after they get lost in a sweet moment together. Rakshit gently helps Aparajita clean the flour from her nose, and when she asks for sugar, he immediately hands it to her. Arvind watches the adorable interaction with a smile on his face.

Just then, Mohit arrives and praises the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. Arvind happily tells him that Aparajita prepared the prasad beautifully. Rakshit tries to tell Aparajita something important, but she reminds him that the priest must be waiting for the prasad and quickly leaves.

After she walks away, Mohit jokingly tells Arvind that Aparajita has already completed her first rasoi with her future husband even before marriage. Arvind teases Rakshit, saying he has noticed everything. A nervous Rakshit complains that he is dying with anxiety over Aparajita’s reaction while they are busy making fun of him. He asks both of them to stand by him for moral support.

Meanwhile, Aparajita notices Aradhya talking privately with Vivaan. Before she can think further, she carries the prasad to Sudha.

Sheela questions why Aparajita prepared the prasad. Aparajita politely explains that Arvind accidentally burnt the original offering, so she made a fresh one. She also apologizes for entering the kitchen without permission. Sudha appreciates her effort and says there is nothing wrong with what she did.

Soon, everyone gathers for the puja. While the rituals begin, Aparajita notices Aradhya and Avinash arguing outside and follows them.

Inside the prayer room, Arvind quietly places two engagement rings before God’s idol.

Outside, Aradhya demands that Avinash return her watch. Avinash argues that the watch belongs to him because he paid for it. Aparajita scolds both of them for behaving like children in someone else’s house. After Aradhya leaves, Aparajita examines the watch and suddenly remembers Rakshit mentioning Vivaan’s missing watch. She takes the watch from Avinash before returning inside.

Rakshit once again tries to speak to Aparajita, but she asks him to wait until after the puja. The priest then asks everyone to stand for the aarti. As they rise, Aparajita’s saree pallu accidentally gets caught in Rakshit’s kurta. Malti notices the moment and happily whispers to Ramgopal that the two look like Lakshmi and Narayan together.

After the aarti concludes, Sudha picks up one of the rings and hands it to Rakshit.

To everyone’s surprise, Rakshit refuses to take it. He insists that he needs to speak first.

Sudha calmly replies that she will seek permission from Rakshit’s future wife on his behalf.

At that very moment, Ira enters the house.

Everyone is stunned to see her.

Rakshit is equally shocked and asks why she did not leave for London. Ira quietly reveals that Sudha stopped her from leaving.

Sudha then drops a bombshell.

She announces that she has arranged Rakshit and Ira’s engagement.

Rakshit immediately says he wants to speak to her privately and takes Sudha inside. Ira follows them.

Outside, Aparajita becomes curious about their sudden disappearance. Meanwhile, Malti continues praying for Rakshit and Aparajita’s marriage, while also wishing happiness for Aradhya and Rohan, as well as Avinash and Rashmi.

Inside the room, Rakshit confronts Sudha and Ira.

He asks Sudha what happened to her and questions how Ira could agree to this proposal when everyone knows he loves Aparajita.

Sudha firmly tells him that Aparajita does not love him, whereas Ira truly does. She insists that he should marry the girl she has chosen for him.

Elsewhere, Aparajita pieces together another clue after noticing Vivaan secretly signaling to Aradhya. She realizes there is something going on between them.

Back inside, Ira explains that she agreed only because Sudha requested her to do so for her happiness. She recalls how Sudha stopped her from leaving for London and emotionally asked her to marry Rakshit.

Ira requests Rakshit to at least give her a chance.

Sudha praises Ira’s unconditional love and confidently says that her affection will eventually make Rakshit forget Aparajita.

Rakshit refuses without hesitation.

He tells them that Aparajita is not just someone he loves—she is his very breath. He declares that he can never get engaged to Ira.

Sudha reminds Rakshit that he had once promised to obey her wishes, and now it is time for him to fulfill that promise by getting engaged to Ira.

The episode ends on Rakshit’s emotional dilemma.

Precap: Malti loses her patience and slaps Sudha, leaving everyone shocked.

Review:

The episode delivers an emotional rollercoaster as Rakshit repeatedly tries to confess his feelings but destiny keeps interrupting him. Sudha’s sudden decision to arrange Rakshit and Ira’s engagement creates a major twist, while Aparajita unknowingly inches closer to discovering Aradhya and Vivaan’s secret. The final confrontation sets up an intense family drama ahead.
