Anupama 2nd August 2026 Written Update: Anupama Chooses Banku as Mahi Quits, Leela Enters as a Wildcard

The episode begins with Digvijay checking on Anupama’s health. He asks if she is feeling better. Anupama says the pain has reduced and that whenever she keeps herself busy with work, she forgets about it for a while. Digvijay is not convinced and asks if she is truly alright.

Anupama says she understands who influenced Mahi to leave the team, but she is still unable to understand how Mahi allowed herself to be manipulated so easily.

Digvijay then asks the obvious question—who will replace Mahi?

Anupama confidently replies that she has already decided who will join the team.

Meanwhile, Kinjal confronts Mahi over her sudden decision. She asks how Mahi can abandon the team just before such an important stage of the competition. Kinjal reminds her that Anupama corrected everyone’s mistakes during the previous tasks, whether it was Ishani, Prerna, or Mahi herself. She says every round is becoming tougher, making this the worst possible time to quit.

Paritosh interrupts and says that if Mahi no longer wishes to remain in Anupama’s team, nobody can force her.

Kinjal immediately suspects Paritosh and Pakhi. She accuses them of manipulating Mahi once again for their own selfish interests. She explains that they know she and Ishani would never demand a share of Anupama’s prize money, so they are using Mahi to achieve their own goals.

Despite Kinjal’s efforts, Mahi remains firm. She admits that regardless of who influenced her, she has made up her mind and will not continue in Anupama’s team.

Kinjal reminds Mahi that she is one of the strongest cooks after Anupama and that the team genuinely needs her talent.

However, Mahi refuses to reconsider.

Paritosh and Pakhi quietly celebrate, believing that Anupama will now be forced to select one of them as Mahi’s replacement.

Kinjal openly accuses them of caring only about money. Deep down, both Pakhi and Paritosh admit that winning the prize money is their only concern.

Elsewhere, Prem continues worrying about Shruti. He tells Rahi that he wants to repay Shruti’s support by taking full ownership of Anuj’s Café one day.

Rahi reminds him that completing their competition team is more important right now.

Prem declares that he wants to defeat Anupama at any cost.

His statement shocks Rahi, who asks if he is planning something unfair.

Prem quickly reassures her that he only means he will defeat Anupama honestly. He promises to win through hard work, not shortcuts.

Rahi suggests inviting Vasundhara to join their team.

Prem dismisses the idea, saying Vasundhara would never agree.

Meanwhile, Mahi feels isolated and believes nobody truly cares about her feelings.

Anupama approaches her one final time and pleads with her not to leave the team.

Mahi refuses again. She accuses Anupama of always blaming her whenever the team loses a task.

Anupama is stunned by the accusation. She asks Mahi when she ever blamed her.

Despite Anupama’s sincere efforts, Mahi remains adamant.

Later, Digvijay gives Anupama her medicines.

Kinjal quietly asks Ishani and Prerna how Anupama manages to stay so calm despite everything happening around her.

Hasmuk also asks Anupama about her health.

Anupama confidently says that although she is still in pain, she will continue fighting because she refuses to give up before the competition ends.

Ishani asks whether Anupama managed to convince Mahi.

Before Anupama can answer, Pakhi and Paritosh announce that Mahi is nowhere to be found. Once again, they try to convince Anupama to include one of them in the team.

To everyone’s surprise, Anupama reveals that Banku will replace Mahi.

She asks Banku if he is ready to support the team.

An emotional Banku happily accepts the opportunity. He proudly thanks Anupama for trusting him and promises to give his best.

Pakhi immediately objects, arguing that Banku is not a family member and therefore cannot participate.

Anupama calmly reminds everyone that members of the Love You Zindagi Café are also eligible to compete under the rules.

Pakhi and Paritosh complain that Anupama ignored both of them.

Anupama firmly tells them that after knowing they manipulated Mahi and broke her confidence, she could never trust either of them with the team.

She angrily says they only know how to create problems, whereas Banku has earned the opportunity through honesty and dedication.

Kinjal supports Anupama’s decision. She says she has worked with Banku before and knows that he is familiar with all of Anupama’s recipes and kitchen techniques.

Finally, Anupama asks Hasmuk and Leela to come to the venue a little later because she needs to leave early for the competition preparations.

The episode ends.

Precap: The host announces two wildcard entries before the grand finale. Leela joins Anupama’s team, while Vasundhara becomes part of Prem’s team. Leela excitedly says she was born to be a celebrity. Anupama reminds everyone not to lose focus on the competition, while Prem happily welcomes Vasundhara. Vasundhara, however, becomes concerned after seeing Leela enter the contest.

Review:

The episode highlights Anupama’s resilience as she refuses to let personal pain or Mahi’s betrayal affect her determination. Mahi’s decision feels emotionally driven, but Kinjal’s confrontation exposes the manipulation of Pakhi and Paritosh, making their greed even more evident. Banku’s promotion is a refreshing twist, rewarding sincerity over selfishness and giving the competition a fresh dynamic. The wildcard announcement in the precap raises the excitement for the finale, especially with Leela and Vasundhara joining opposite teams. The stage is now set for an entertaining final showdown.

Rating: 4.5/5
