Anupama 3rd August 2026 Written Update: Mahi Shocks Anupama by Joining Prem’s Team, Village Cooking Challenge Begins

Today’s episode begins with the host welcoming everyone to the grand finale. He announces that before the final round, both teams will face new twists and unexpected challenges.

Backstage, Anupama’s team discusses their dhaba theme. Digvijay looks worried about the upcoming task, but Anupama encourages everyone to stay calm and focus only on their performance.

Meanwhile, Meeta and Khyati grow irritated as the host continues reciting poems before revealing the challenge. Shruti also gets impatient, but Prem confidently tells her not to worry because he will handle whatever comes their way.

The host then welcomes Anupama’s team onto the stage. Everyone is surprised to see Banku as the newest member of her team. Vasundhara quietly discusses Banku’s entry with Anil, while Gautam wonders why Anupama replaced Mahi.

The host asks Anupama about the change in her team.

Anupama explains that Mahi had some urgent work and therefore had to leave the competition. She introduces Banku as Digvijay’s son and officially welcomes him into the team. The audience applauds, while Leela silently worries that Vasundhara may judge Banku’s inclusion.

The surprise doesn’t end there.

Everyone is left stunned when Mahi appears as a member of Prem’s team.

Leela immediately calls it a betrayal and says Mahi has abandoned Anupama’s team to join Prem. Hasmuk is equally shocked and wonders how Mahi could make such a decision. Vasundhara is surprised to see Mahi standing beside Prem, while Gautam becomes curious about the reason behind her sudden switch.

Pakhi quietly tells Paritosh that they had only planted the idea in Mahi’s mind, but they never imagined she would actually leave Anupama’s team. Even Paritosh is surprised that Prem accepted her.

The host asks Anupama whether she knew Mahi had joined the opposing team.

Anupama honestly admits that she is equally surprised. Despite the unexpected move, she wishes Prem and his team all the best.

Shruti, however, believes Anupama is only pretending to be gracious and accuses her of putting on an act. Manpreet also comments that Anupama always creates drama.

Meanwhile, Gautam further fuels Vasundhara’s suspicions by suggesting that Anupama may have deliberately sent Mahi to Prem’s team as part of a secret strategy. Vasundhara becomes anxious after hearing his theory.

The host then asks Prem why Mahi has joined his team.

Prem explains that Mahi has replaced Pari, who is unable to continue.

Soon, the host announces the first grand finale challenge.

Both teams are shocked to discover that they must prepare food without using any modern kitchen equipment. Instead, they are given traditional clay stoves and old-style cooking tools.

Leela immediately worries about Anupama’s team, while Vasundhara remarks that Prem may be seeing such a stove for the first time.

Anupama quickly motivates her teammates and tells them not to panic. She reminds everyone that traditional cooking is also an art and encourages them to enjoy the experience.

Prem suddenly remembers how Anupama had once asked him to learn grinding chutney with a mortar and pestle, but he had ignored her advice at that time.

Prem’s team becomes nervous about handling the old-fashioned stove.

Rahi confidently says she knows how to cook on a traditional stove because she learned it while living in Dwarka. Khyati suggests that Rahi should lead the task, and Prem immediately agrees.

Meanwhile, Vasundhara and Leela both become anxious about how their respective teams will perform with unfamiliar equipment. They even consider speaking to the host. Hasmuk, however, asks Leela to stay calm and trust Anupama.

As the challenge begins, Anupama instructs everyone to divide the work. She and Digvijay begin preparing the stove while the others handle the ingredients.

Prerna and Ishani worry after discovering they don’t have knives to chop vegetables. Banku quickly steps forward and volunteers to cut the vegetables using the traditional method.

Both Anupama and Rahi successfully light their stoves. On the other side, Prem accidentally breaks one of the clay pots. Shruti immediately asks him to be more careful since they have very limited utensils available.

Determined not to repeat the mistake, Prem regains his focus.

Before starting the cooking, Anupama and Rahi perform a small puja in front of the stove. The host praises both of them for respecting tradition before beginning the challenge.

The episode ends.

Precap: The host announces another exciting twist as two wildcard contestants enter the competition. Leela joins Anupama’s team, while Vasundhara joins Prem’s team. Prem feels happy to have Vasundhara beside him, but she reminds everyone not to underestimate Leela. Meanwhile, Anupama asks Leela to control her overconfidence and stay focused on the competition.

Review:

The episode focuses on the opening stage of the grand finale while delivering a surprising twist with Mahi switching to Prem’s team. Anupama once again displays her maturity by accepting the unexpected change without bitterness, whereas Gautam continues creating misunderstandings for his own agenda. The traditional village-style cooking challenge brings freshness to the competition and highlights the contrast between Anupama’s experience and Prem’s learning curve. The upcoming wildcard entry promises even more drama in the finale.

Rating: 4.3/5
