Anupama 4th August 2026 Written Update: Anupama Guides Prem, But His Team Suffers a Major Setback

The episode begins with Rahi and Prem struggling to light the traditional stove as thick smoke fills the cooking area. Rahi quickly points out that Prem is using wet wood, explaining that it will only create more smoke instead of a proper flame.

Watching from the sidelines, Vasundhara also remarks that the wood cannot burn that way. Meanwhile, Anupama quietly observes the situation and indirectly guides Prem and Rahi without openly interfering in the competition.

The host announces that both teams have finally managed to light their stoves. However, he points out that Prem has already wasted most of his firewood and wonders whether his team will even be able to finish cooking the dish.

Mahi becomes frustrated and questions Prem for wasting the wood. She reminds him that she is here only to win the competition.

Prem, already under pressure, snaps back. He tells Mahi that he also wants to win and asks her to stop complaining and focus on the cooking instead.

Both teams continue preparing their dishes under immense pressure.

When Prem’s team struggles to use the traditional mortar and pestle, Anupama once again indirectly helps them understand the correct technique. The judges watch both teams closely, wondering how they will manage to prepare everything using just one stove.

Digvijay comes up with an innovative solution.

Using his presence of mind, he quickly creates another temporary stove, allowing Anupama’s team to cook multiple items at the same time.

Prem’s team is left surprised by the smart move, while Anupama’s teammates cheer Digvijay’s creativity.

Pakhi remarks that Anupama’s team seems to be taking the lead.

Not wanting to fall behind, Prem copies Digvijay’s idea and builds another stove for his own team.

The host immediately points out that Prem has copied Anupama’s strategy.

Leela taunts Prem for following Anupama instead of thinking independently, while Vasundhara becomes irritated by the criticism.

Mahi urges Prem to work faster because she refuses to lose the competition.

Shruti quietly feels that Prem should stop depending on Anupama’s ideas.

Khyati, however, defends Prem, saying there is nothing wrong with learning from others.

While cooking, Prem realizes that one of his dishes requires a slow flame instead of high heat.

Using his own judgment, he adjusts the fire accordingly.

Anupama notices his decision and applauds his smart thinking.

The host praises Anupama for encouraging the rival team despite competing against them, calling it a true display of sportsmanship.

Shruti, however, dismisses the gesture, believing Anupama only wants attention.

Back at Anupama’s station, Prerna accidentally drops the earthen pot while trying to help.

The pot develops a crack, leaving Anupama worried that the dish might get spoiled.

Mahi immediately comments that if she had made the same mistake, Anupama would have scolded her.

Rahi disagrees and tells Mahi that Anupama would never treat anyone unfairly.

Mahi insists that Rahi cannot understand because she has always been Anupama’s favourite.

Without wasting time, Anupama cleverly repairs the cracked earthen pot and continues cooking.

Leela proudly praises Anupama’s experience.

Vasundhara responds that while Anupama has spent years cooking on traditional stoves, Prem is attempting it for the first time and deserves appreciation for his effort as well.

Finally, the judges begin tasting both teams’ dishes.

They are highly impressed with Anupama’s preparations and praise the authentic flavours.

Judge Manpreet asks Anupama whether she has cooked on a traditional stove before.

Anupama warmly credits Hasmuk’s mother for teaching her this style of cooking years ago.

Leela becomes annoyed after hearing Anupama praise Moti Baa instead of herself.

The judges then taste Prem’s dishes.

They point out that the food reflects his panic during cooking and award his team lower marks.

Prem is visibly disappointed by the result.

Pakhi and Paritosh whisper that Mahi seems unlucky because Anupama’s team had earlier lost points due to her, and now Prem’s team has also suffered after she joined them.

Gautam further fuels Vasundhara’s worries by suggesting that Mahi is negatively affecting Prem’s performance.

Anil immediately stops Gautam and tells him not to behave like an expert on their family matters.

Prem quietly struggles to hide his disappointment after receiving poor scores.

The episode ends.

Precap: The host announces a special wildcard twist. Leela joins Anupama’s team, while Vasundhara joins Prem’s team. Prem is delighted to have Vasundhara beside him, but she reminds him not to underestimate Leela. Meanwhile, Anupama asks Leela to stay focused on the competition instead of becoming overconfident.

Review:

The episode delivers an engaging blend of competition, strategy, and family drama. Anupama’s sportsmanship stands out as she repeatedly helps her rivals without compromising her own team’s spirit. Digvijay’s quick thinking gives Anupama’s team a crucial advantage, while Prem’s willingness to learn shows positive growth despite his disappointing result. The simmering tension surrounding Mahi, Leela, and Vasundhara adds another emotional layer that promises more conflict in the upcoming rounds.

Rating: 4.5/5
