Anupama 6th August 2026 Written Update: Prem Confesses He Wants to Hurt Anupama

The episode begins with Anupama scolding Mahi for casually using the word “trauma.” She says today’s generation often throws around such words without understanding their true meaning. Hasmuk reminds everyone that Rahi and Prem are also part of the family, and Mahi had every right to join either team, but she should have informed them first. Mahi refuses to apologize and says what’s done is done. Ansh asks her to learn some manners, while Ishani openly opposes her. Mahi declares that the Shah house belongs to her too and accuses Anupama of turning the family against her to throw her out. Leela notices Mahi becoming as stubborn as before, leaving Anupama worried.

Meanwhile, Rahi questions Prem for bringing Mahi into his team. Prem shocks her by admitting that he only wants to hurt Anupama. He says seeing Anupama in pain gives him satisfaction, and he is ready to go to any extent to make that happen. Rahi is left speechless by his confession.

Back at the Shah house, Mahi and Ishani argue over some papers, which get torn during their fight. Kinjal sarcastically applauds their behavior. Elsewhere, Leela grows nervous about the cooking competition, but Hasmuk encourages her by praising her culinary skills and assuring her that Anupama will win with her support. Although flattered, Leela worries that she may become the reason for Anupama’s defeat. Anupama overhears her concerns and comforts her.

Later, Leela imagines asking Vasundhara to withdraw from the competition so Anupama can win. In a humorous dream, she even promises to build a temple in Vasundhara’s name if she quits. At the same time, Vasundhara dreams of someone holding her legs and accidentally slaps Raja in her sleep, leaving the Kothari family amused.

Leela also has a nightmare about losing the competition. She wakes up panicked, but Anupama calms her down and encourages her to stay confident. Pakhi and Paritosh claim morning dreams often come true, irritating Anupama. She jokingly threatens to throw them out of the house before once again motivating Leela.

Finally, Leela and Vasundhara arrive at the competition and pray before the challenge begins. The host praises their years of cooking experience and announces that they have only fifteen minutes to prepare a traditional dish. However, both women panic after seeing unfamiliar foreign vegetables. While Anupama and Digvijay advise Leela not to be overconfident, Prem encourages Vasundhara to stay calm and do her best.

Episode Ends.

Precap: Manpreet announces that Leela and Vasundhara must cook with their hands tied. During the challenge, both women lose balance. Prem blames Leela, but Anupama says both are equally responsible. When Shruti accuses Leela of deliberately pushing Vasundhara, Anupama asks her to stop provoking everyone.

Review

The episode mixes emotional family drama with light-hearted comedy before the next cooking challenge. Prem’s shocking confession about deliberately hurting Anupama is the biggest twist, while Leela’s nervousness and Vasundhara’s amusing dream provide entertaining moments. The competition promises even more drama in the upcoming episode.
