Yeh Fitoor Tera 8th August 2026 Written Update: Soumya Finds Her Courage, Jeet Stands Up for Her
The episode begins with Soumya practising for her stage performance. She apologises to Pakhi for making her wait, as she has been busy preparing herself for the important college event. Although Soumya is excited about participating, her nervousness is clearly visible. She still struggles with her confidence and worries about how everyone will react to her.
Just then, Soumya receives a pleasant surprise when Vidhan arrives. He gives her favourite toffee and asks why she did not tell him about the event. Soumya happily asks him about his internship, while Pakhi also questions him about his plans. Vidhan tells them that he will drop both of them to college.
During the drive, Vidhan plays an old romantic song and keeps stealing glances at Soumya through the rear-view mirror. His behaviour makes it clear that Soumya occupies a special place in his thoughts.
However, their journey takes an unexpected turn when Jeet suddenly overtakes them and takes the parking spot.
Vidhan gets out of the car and asks Jeet to move his vehicle. Soumya reminds Vidhan that they are at the college and that the parking area belongs to the college. Vidhan tries to shake hands with Jeet, but Jeet simply ignores him. Before leaving, however, Jeet wishes Soumya good luck for her stage performance.
Soon, Soumya reaches the college venue and becomes nervous after seeing the huge crowd gathered for the event. The thought of standing in front of so many people makes her confidence disappear once again.
Meanwhile, the Hindi professor approaches Soumya and once again behaves uncomfortably towards her. Soumya does not entertain his behaviour and walks away.
Elsewhere, Sanjib questions Vidhan about his decision to leave his internship. Vidhan reveals that he wants to start his own startup instead. Sanjib is unhappy with his decision and taunts his wife for supporting their son. She reminds him of his own past affair, leaving him embarrassed.
At the same time, Sobha asks Rajeev to arrange some investment for them. Rajeev refuses to approach Vidhan for financial help.
Dadi then calls Vidhan and asks him to spend some time with her. She gets him to play Ludo with her on the tablet, but Vidhan remains distracted. His thoughts continue to revolve around Soumya and the college event.
Dadi notices his mood and offers him a toffee before asking whether he likes someone. Vidhan refuses to reveal the girl’s identity. Dadi understands that something is clearly bothering him but does not press him further.
Vidhan is also worried because his father is angry with him. At the same time, he knows that an important event is taking place at Soumya’s college.
Back at the college, Soumya does not want to embarrass her family. She asks Pakhi to video-call her family during her performance so that they can watch her on stage.
The event finally begins.
Dean Sanjib welcomes everyone before announcing that Jeet will inaugurate the event. Jeet is surprised by the unexpected announcement.
The students immediately begin gossiping when Sanjib praises Jeet and calls him a topper who excels in almost every field. He also jokes about Jeet’s favourite topic being “Gonda” and advises the students to maintain a good character certificate.
Jeet takes the microphone and responds in his usual carefree manner. He jokes that if he starts paying attention to everyone’s activities, everyone will become a topic of discussion. He then takes a subtle dig at Sanjib by saying that he is just like his father.
Jeet officially begins the event, and students start coming onto the stage one after another. Shaurya and his friends notice several girls looking at Jeet and begin reacting to his popularity.
Meanwhile, Soumya suddenly realises that her Maa Durga keychain is missing.
The small incident deeply affects her.
The keychain has become an emotional source of strength for Soumya, and losing it makes her feel as though she has lost her confidence as well. She begins questioning whether she can actually stand before everyone and speak.
At the same time, Vidhan silently prays that Maa Durga always remains with Soumya and gives her the strength to face every challenge.
Finally, Soumya’s turn arrives.
She steps onto the stage, but instead of receiving encouragement, the students start teasing her. They call her “Behenji”, making her even more nervous.
Her family watches everything through the video call. Chachi becomes worried as she fears that Soumya will be humiliated in front of everyone.
Jeet notices Soumya struggling.
He immediately asks the students to stop disturbing her. Rather than allowing their comments to destroy her confidence, Jeet quietly decides to give her the support she needs.
He puts on a Maa Durga locket and stands in front of the stage.
Soumya notices the locket.
She takes a deep breath.
Something changes within her.
She gathers her courage and confidently greets everyone.
Her family is stunned to see the transformation.
Soumya begins speaking about motivation, courage and the importance of following one’s dreams. She says that she wants to reach the moon and fulfil her dreams. She admits that she is still learning to overcome her fears, but she promises that one day she will become fearless.
Her words touch everyone.
Her parents become emotional and proud while watching her.
The girl who had been struggling even to introduce herself has now managed to stand confidently before a packed auditorium and speak about her dreams.
Jeet is visibly impressed.
He starts clapping for Soumya.
Soon, the entire auditorium joins him, giving her a huge round of applause.
For Soumya, the moment becomes much more than just a college performance. It becomes the first real victory over the fear and insecurity that have held her back for so long.
Jeet quietly walks away after seeing Soumya receive the appreciation she deserves.
Backstage, Pakhi becomes emotional and hugs Soumya. She tells her how proud she is of her.
Soumya is equally happy that her family watched her performance and finally saw her confidence.
As she thinks about everything that happened, Soumya remembers Jeet’s support. She realises that his small gesture helped her regain her courage and decides to thank him.
However, before she can meet Jeet, the Hindi professor stops her.

Review
This episode gives Soumya one of her most important moments so far. Her journey from being nervous and constantly worried about people’s opinions to confidently standing on stage and speaking about her dreams feels genuinely satisfying. The missing Maa Durga keychain initially makes her feel weak, but Jeet’s unexpected gesture reminds her that courage comes from within.
Jeet also gets an interesting moment. His playful and rebellious personality remains intact, but when he sees Soumya being bullied, he immediately takes a stand. His silent support becomes more meaningful because he does not make the moment about himself.
Vidhan’s growing feelings for Soumya add another interesting angle to the story, while the Hindi professor’s continued behaviour creates a serious concern for what may happen next.
The precap promises a major confrontation, with Jeet losing his temper after discovering what the professor has done to Soumya. However, his attempt to defend her could put him in trouble with the college authorities.
