Anupama 9th August 2026 Written Update: Anupama and Leela Win the Task, Prem’s Ego Becomes His Biggest Weakness
The episode begins with the competition between Leela and Vasundhara becoming increasingly chaotic. The two women are still tied together and struggling to manage the task while preparing their respective dishes.
Vasundhara finally asks Leela to stop spinning around and simply open the tie. She tells her that constantly moving around will not solve their problem. Leela eventually agrees, and after some effort, the two manage to untangle themselves.
They return to their respective counters and resume cooking.
Sikander uses the situation to draw a comparison with life. He explains that relationships can sometimes become tangled just like the rope, but understanding and patience can help people resolve their differences. Manpreet and Roy agree with his observation.
However, the competition is far from over.
The Ingredient-Stealing Challenge Begins
The host announces that it is now time for the teams to steal ingredients from each other’s counters.
Prerna immediately volunteers to go from Prem’s team. Prem also decides to participate in the challenge.
Prerna reaches Vasundhara’s counter and steals the salt. At the same time, Prem grabs the gram flour from Leela’s ingredients.

Anupama remains confident that friendship can be valuable, but overconfidence can become a person’s biggest enemy.
Vasundhara, however, remains determined.

The biggest highlight is Anupama’s decision to return the salt. Even though she is competing against Vasundhara’s team, she refuses to deliberately ruin another person’s dish. Her sportsmanship once again separates her approach from Prem’s increasingly aggressive attitude.
Prem’s decision not to use the salt ultimately costs his team dearly. His refusal to accept help may look like pride on the surface, but the episode makes it clear that his ego is becoming a genuine weakness.
Leela and Vasundhara’s rivalry also provides plenty of entertaining moments. Their constant arguments are becoming chaotic, yet there is clearly an emotional connection between them that neither wants to acknowledge.
