Yeh Fitoor Tera 9th August 2026 Written Update: Soumya Refuses to Blame Jeet, Professor’s Truth Exposed
The episode begins with Soumya finding herself in an extremely uncomfortable situation when the professor asks her to read a poem that he has supposedly written for her. Initially, Soumya begins reading it without suspecting anything unusual. However, she soon realizes that the words have inappropriate undertones and that the professor’s intentions are far from innocent.
As the professor gradually moves closer to Soumya and attempts to touch her, she becomes visibly uncomfortable. Before the situation can become worse, someone suddenly stops him.
It is Jeet.
Jeet immediately confronts the professor and slaps him for crossing the line with Soumya. He then sits down calmly while the professor tries to defend himself. The professor claims that he was merely congratulating Soumya and insists that Jeet has misunderstood the situation.
Jeet, however, refuses to believe his explanation.
He picks up the poem and reads it himself, making it clear that the professor’s words reveal his actual intentions. Jeet reminds him that no relationship, position or authority gives anyone the right to ignore a girl’s consent. He makes it clear that Soumya’s comfort and consent matter above everything else.
The situation quickly turns against Jeet when Shaurya arrives and tries to defend his father. He informs the Dean that Jeet has assaulted the professor.
Sanjib questions Jeet about his actions and demands an explanation.
Jeet looks towards Soumya, silently hoping that she will tell everyone what actually happened. He expects her to explain that he intervened only because he was protecting her.
However, Jeet unexpectedly tells Sanjib that he simply did not like the professor’s face.
The Dean is not convinced by his answer and orders Jeet to meet him in his office the following day.
Soumya Feels Guilty for Staying Silent
Soumya is deeply disturbed after the incident. She feels ashamed and struggles to process everything that has happened.
Pakhi notices her emotional state and asks her what really happened.
Soumya finally opens up and admits that Jeet had actually saved her from the professor. She realizes that Jeet was being blamed despite protecting her.
Her guilt becomes overwhelming.
Soumya calls herself a coward for failing to speak up when Jeet needed her support. Unfortunately, she does not realize that Vidhan has overheard the conversation.
Meanwhile, Soumya’s family is dealing with their own emotions. Her blind uncle is extremely happy, while his brother also expresses his happiness. Uma, however, starts taunting Soumya.
Soumya’s mother takes Uma away for tea, but the damage has already been done.
Soumya breaks down and begins crying uncontrollably.
Her mother asks her to forget what happened and advises her not to discuss the matter with anyone. Instead of encouraging Soumya to fight against the wrongdoing, she tells her that situations like these can bring humiliation to a girl regardless of whether she is innocent.
Soumya is shocked by her mother’s reaction.
She tells her father that she feels completely broken from within. She had expected her family to understand her pain, but instead, she is being told to remain silent and move on.
Her mother’s words leave Soumya even more hurt.
Jeet’s Actions Become the Talk of College
Elsewhere, Pihu’s beautiful singing catches Dadi’s attention. Dadi expresses her wish to find a good singer for her.
At the same time, news of Jeet’s confrontation with Tripathi Sir spreads throughout the college.
Nita demands strict action against Jeet. She believes that someone like him should not be allowed to continue creating trouble on campus.
Vidhan, however, takes a different stand.
He tells Sanjib that the college should first investigate the complete incident before punishing anyone. Nita immediately objects and tells Vidhan to stay away from the matter. She claims that nobody is safe because of Jeet’s behaviour.
Even Pakhi believes that Jeet should be punished.
Sanjib announces that he will take whatever action he considers appropriate.
Dadi notices that Vidhan is disturbed and asks him what is bothering him. Vidhan admits that he feels bad for both Jeet and Soumya. He understands that both of them have been dragged into a difficult situation.
Dadi is impressed by his maturity and concern.
Soumya and Jeet Share a Silent Moment
Later, Soumya notices Jeet standing near the window.
The two look at each other without saying anything.
Their eyes seem to communicate everything that they cannot express through words.
Jeet remains confused by Soumya’s behaviour, while Soumya struggles to explain her feelings. She knows that she owes him an apology, but she does not know how to approach him after remaining silent when he was being blamed.
Their quiet interaction becomes even more meaningful when Jeet notices a small gesture from Soumya.
She has kept a mosquito coil near his gate because she noticed that mosquitoes were troubling him.
It is a simple act, but Jeet understands that Soumya does care about him.
Vidhan Takes a Stand Against the Professor
Meanwhile, Tripathi Sir makes matters worse by telling someone that Soumya is a characterless girl.
Unfortunately for him, Vidhan overhears his words.
Vidhan arrives carrying his hockey stick. He reminds the professor that he had left hockey behind, but someone has now brought both his hockey and his old determination back into his life.
Vidhan warns Tripathi Sir that he will not tolerate anyone troubling that person.
He gives the professor a strict ultimatum.
He must resign from the college, otherwise Vidhan promises that he will make him pay for his actions.
The professor is left stunned.
Soumya Finally Stands Up for Jeet
The next day, Jeet and Soumya appear before the Dean.
Nita immediately starts attacking Jeet and demands that he be expelled from college.
Sanjib then asks Soumya to sign a statement confirming that she witnessed Jeet assaulting the professor.
Nita and Sanjib repeatedly pressure her to sign the document.
Soumya looks at the paper but knows the truth.
Jeet did not attack the professor without reason.
He protected her.
After a moment of hesitation, Soumya drops the pen.
She refuses to sign.
Her decision leaves Jeet stunned.
For the first time, Soumya chooses to stand up for herself and for the person who had stood up for her.
Nita tells her that she should always stand against wrongdoing, but Vidhan supports Soumya’s decision.
He then reveals that he has evidence.
Vidhan shows his parents a video containing the professor’s own confession, exposing his inappropriate intentions towards Soumya.
The truth finally comes out.
Vidhan realizes that Jeet is innocent and tells his parents that they should have investigated the matter properly before judging him.
The professor’s behaviour soon becomes the biggest topic of discussion throughout the college.
Shaurya is furious after seeing the situation turn against his father. He is clearly unhappy with both Jeet and Vidhan.
Later, Jeet shows his appreciation towards Vidhan by allowing him to park his vehicle in his parking spot. He also promises that he will repay Vidhan for helping him.
Meanwhile, Soumya makes an important decision.
She knows she cannot leave things unresolved with Jeet. She wants to apologize to him for failing to defend him when he needed her the most.
She decides that she must speak to him at any cost.
The episode ends on this emotional note.
Precap
Jeet tells Soumya to listen to her heart before making any decision. His words touch a painful part of her past, causing Soumya to remember her old trauma. She becomes emotional and disturbed.
Review
This episode delivers one of the more important emotional developments in Soumya’s journey. The professor’s inappropriate behaviour creates a serious situation, but the story does not stop at showing Jeet protecting her. It also focuses on Soumya’s struggle to find her own voice.
Her initial silence is understandable considering the fear, humiliation and pressure surrounding her. What makes the episode satisfying is that she eventually refuses to sign a false statement against Jeet. That moment shows a major change in her character.
Jeet also gets an opportunity to demonstrate that beneath his rough and rebellious personality, he has a strong sense of right and wrong. His insistence on consent makes his confrontation with the professor particularly significant.
Vidhan’s role is another highlight. Instead of blindly following his parents’ opinion, he chooses to investigate the truth and ultimately helps expose the professor. His concern for both Soumya and Jeet adds another layer to the ongoing relationships.
The emotional scenes between Soumya and Jeet are also handled nicely. Their silent exchange and Soumya’s small gesture of placing the mosquito coil near his gate show that their bond is developing through actions rather than dramatic declarations.
The biggest question now is whether Soumya will finally open up about her feelings and whether Jeet will understand the trauma that continues to affect her decisions.
Overall, the episode combines college drama, emotional conflict and character development effectively, while Soumya’s decision to finally stand up for Jeet gives the episode a strong finish.
