Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 12th August 2026 Written Update: Armaan Worries About His Family, Myra Faces a New Problem
The episode begins with Samar becoming furious after believing that Armaan deliberately tried to harm Kabir. He decides that he will not let the matter go and plans to take revenge.
Raghu, however, clears Samar’s misunderstanding and explains what actually happened. He then confronts the situation surrounding Abhira and Mukti and questions why the Poddars are creating problems for them.
Nandani refuses to support either side blindly. She tells Raghu and Samar that both of them are at fault for making accusations against the Poddars without properly understanding what happened.
Bhairwai soon interrupts the Damanis, adding to the tension.
Meanwhile, Kabir calls the Damanis and happily informs them that he has won the competition. They are delighted by the news. At almost the same time, Myra contacts the Poddars to share her victory. Armaan is naturally proud and says that he already knew Myra would win.
Armaan Gets Protective About Myra Again
Armaan notices Samar nearby and starts looking for him.
Raghu, meanwhile, sees Myra and remembers his earlier encounter with her. Kabir tells Samar that Myra had also participated in the competition, which makes the situation even more complicated.
Both Myra and Kabir’s families become restless when they learn that the youngsters are delaying their return because they want to enjoy the bonfire night.
Armaan once again becomes overly protective of Myra. Kaveri notices his behaviour and tells him to stop being so overprotective.
Armaan insists that he only wants Myra to be careful around the bonfire.
Kaveri, however, wants Myra to enjoy herself and asks her not to keep worrying about Armaan’s instructions.
Krish Faces Pressure About Marriage
Back at the Poddar house, Manisha tells Abhira that Kajal is unwell. She worries about the family and feels bad about the situation surrounding Krish’s marriage.
Kaveri later confronts Krish about his refusal to move forward.
Krish clearly does not want to get married again.
Kaveri directly asks him whether he still has feelings for Tanya.
The question leaves Krish uncomfortable, and he quickly walks away without giving her a proper answer.
His reaction makes it clear that Tanya is still somewhere in his heart.
Myra and Kabir Enjoy the Bonfire
Meanwhile, Myra and Kabir finally get some time away from all the family tension.
As Myra dances around the bonfire, Kabir captures her moments through his camera. Myra notices him constantly taking pictures and invites him to join her instead.
Kabir worries about leaving his camera behind, but Myra tells him that he should stop trying to capture every moment and actually experience it.
Her words make Kabir smile.
The two then join the celebration and dance together, enjoying their time without worrying about what is happening back home.
Abhira Makes an Important Decision
Back at home, Armaan asks Abhira why she has still not submitted the form.
Abhira is hesitant.
She asks him to stop discussing the matter for the moment because she needs more time to think about her decision.
Later, the Poddars celebrate Myra’s achievement by arranging their own bonfire celebration. They surprise Abhira and Armaan with the gathering.
Armaan, however, becomes irritated when he learns that Myra is still staying in Jaipur. He feels that she has no reason to remain there for so long.
The others become annoyed by Armaan’s constant concern.
Kaveri decides to dedicate the evening to Myra and Mukti. She announces that the celebration will feature Gen Z songs and encourages everyone to enjoy themselves.
Abhira then takes Armaan aside so that the two can spend some private time together.
They dance together away from everyone else. Armaan becomes slightly nervous that someone might suddenly see them, but the moment soon turns romantic.
Armaan once again asks Abhira to complete the form.
Armaan Gets Busy Again
Just when Abhira hopes to spend more time with Armaan, Sanjay calls him away to discuss an important case.
Abhira waits for Armaan, but he does not return quickly.
Eventually, she becomes tired and falls asleep while waiting for him.
When Armaan finally comes back, he notices Abhira sleeping and quietly looks at her.
Meanwhile, Myra and Kabir face an unexpected problem.
While arguing over who should carry their trophy, they miss their bus.
The two are left shocked by what has happened.
Armaan Refuses to Compromise
Armaan continues discussing the conflict with the Damanis with his team.
He wants to give them a strong response but makes it clear that he will not compromise his principles just to win a personal battle.
Kaveri watches him and feels proud of the way he is handling the situation.
At the same time, Abhira continues thinking about the judge nomination form.
She finds herself torn between her family responsibilities and her professional ambitions.
Armaan eventually encourages her to believe in herself and reminds her that she should not give up on her career because of fear or confusion.
His words give Abhira the confidence she needs.
She finally fills out the judge nominee form.
Armaan becomes extremely happy after seeing her take the step.
He then waits for Myra to return, unaware that another problem is already approaching the family.

Armaan senses that something dangerous may soon happen to his family.
Meanwhile, Samar and Raghu arrive at the Poddar house and accuse Myra of being responsible for Kabir’s disappearance.
Myra is shocked and insists that she has no idea where Kabir is.
Raghu decides to take Myra to the police station.
Abhira immediately steps in and tells the Damanis to behave themselves.
Review
This episode nicely balances the lighter Myra-Kabir track with the growing tension between the Poddars and Damanis. Myra and Kabir’s bonfire moments bring some youthful energy to the story, while Armaan’s increasing protectiveness shows how difficult it is for him to accept that his daughters are growing up and making their own decisions.
Abhira filling out the judge nomination form is another important development. Her hesitation felt believable because she is trying to balance her career with her responsibilities as a mother and wife, but Armaan’s encouragement finally gives her the push she needs.
The real twist, however, comes in the precap. With Kabir missing and the Damanis immediately blaming Myra, the situation could become much more serious. Armaan’s fear that something is about to go wrong may prove to be completely justified.
