Sairaab 13th August 2026 Written Update: Nayanika Confesses Her Love for Ishaan, Ujjaini Asks Her to Choose
The episode begins with Nayanika losing patience with the constant accusations from her family. She tells them that everything has a limit and warns them that if they continue troubling her unnecessarily, the consequences will not be good. She then walks away.
Shreya immediately tells Indrani that Nayanika has threatened them. Rusha, however, defends Nayanika and says there is nothing wrong with raising her voice when she is being treated unfairly. Indrani tells Rusha that she does not need to keep taking Nayanika’s side. Rusha clarifies that she is simply standing up against what she believes is wrong.
Ishaan’s Condition Turns Critical
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Dr. Ray informs everyone that Ishaan’s surgery is over, but there is another serious problem. Ishaan’s body is not accepting the blood being given to him.
Dr. Ghosh becomes worried and says that if Ishaan himself is not willing to fight for his life, there may be very little they can do. Sunidhi overhears the conversation and becomes extremely concerned.
At home, Nayanika goes to meet Ujjaini.
Ujjaini asks where she had gone. Nayanika replies that she went to the temple to pray.
Ujjaini immediately asks whom she prayed for.
Nayanika honestly tells her that she prayed for Ishaan because his surgery is extremely difficult. Ujjaini taunts her for praying for Ishaan despite everything that has happened between them.
Nayanika asks what wrong she has done by praying for a patient.
Shisho supports Nayanika and tries to defend her, but Ujjaini asks him to stop.
Nayanika Decides to Go to the Hospital
Sidhuri calls Nayanika and informs her that Ishaan’s body is not accepting the blood and that his condition has become critical.
She asks Nayanika to come to the hospital.
Nayanika immediately asks what Dr. Ray and Dr. Ghosh have said. Sunidhi tells her that the doctors themselves are confused about what to do next.
Nayanika decides to leave for the hospital.
However, Ujjaini stops her.
Shreya questions what Nayanika can possibly do by going there. She reminds her that everyone already knows about Ishaan’s critical condition because of the breaking news.
Jaya also asks Nayanika not to get involved.
Grandpa asks whether Nayanika received a call from the hospital. Nayanika refuses to let them interrogate her and asks Ujjaini to release her hand.
Ujjaini refuses.
Nayanika Refuses to Give Up Her Duty
Neil finally intervenes and asks Nayanika to stop.
He accuses her of ruining the family’s reputation. Angana also asks Nayanika to let everyone live peacefully.
Nayanika fires back that they should also let her live peacefully.
Neil questions where she is going.
Nayanika tells him that she does not have to answer every question about her movements.
Neil argues that she is staying in his parents’ house, so she has to answer him.
Ujjaini again questions Nayanika’s decision. She asks how Nayanika can pray for Ishaan when she herself is unwell and why she is suddenly so desperate to meet him.
Neil claims that Nayanika is putting Ujjaini’s life and career at risk. He tells Ujjaini that if she continues staying with Nayanika, her own future could suffer.
Nayanika finally loses her patience.
She says that even death will not give her freedom if everyone continues controlling her life this way. She tells them that everything has a limit and they have crossed every possible boundary.
Nayanika firmly states that nobody has the right to take away her choices.
Nayanika Makes Her Biggest Confession
Ujjaini asks Nayanika to stop with the dramatic statements and demands to know why she is so desperate to reach Ishaan.
Nayanika gives a simple answer.
She says she wants to go to Ishaan as his doctor because the hospital called her.
Neil accuses her of lying.
Nayanika then makes it clear that she would have gone to Mumbai too if Ishaan had been admitted there.
Ujjaini is shocked and asks why she would go that far.
Nayanika finally says what she has been trying to hide from everyone:
She loves Ishaan.
The confession leaves everyone stunned.
Indrani says she cannot believe she had to hear such a thing. Neil scolds Nayanika for making such a statement in front of his parents.
Grandpa and Kaka also feel that Nayanika has lost control of her emotions.
But Nayanika refuses to take back her words.
She tells them that they can say whatever they want, but the truth will not change.
Ujjaini Gives Nayanika an Ultimatum
Nayanika asks Shisho to make Ujjaini understand her situation.
Ujjaini, however, remains firm. She says she will not allow Nayanika to go to Ishaan.
Neil warns Nayanika that if Ishaan’s surgery fails, everyone will blame her. Therefore, he asks her to stay away from the entire situation.
Shisho once again tells Ujjaini that she is doing the wrong thing by stopping her mother.
Shreya warns Shisho not to interfere in their family matters.
Shisho tells Ujjaini that he cannot continue watching her behave this way. He even says that if she does not release Nayanika’s hand, he will not meet her.
Ujjaini finally lets go.
Nayanika thanks Shisho for supporting her.
But Ujjaini is deeply hurt.
She tells Nayanika that Shisho is an important person in her life and she cannot simply leave him. She then warns Nayanika never to forget what happened today.
According to Ujjaini, Nayanika is choosing to go to Ishaan while leaving her own daughter behind.
She tells Nayanika that she can no longer love or respect her the way she did before.
Ujjaini then gives Nayanika a heartbreaking ultimatum—she must choose between her daughter and Ishaan.
Nayanika refuses to choose.
She says both Ujjaini and Ishaan are important to her. Ujjaini may decide to remove her from her life, but Nayanika will continue loving her daughter just as much as before.
With that, Nayanika leaves to go to the hospital.

This episode delivers one of the biggest emotional turning points in Nayanika’s journey. For days, she has been trying to maintain a distance from Ishaan because of her promise to Ujjaini, but his critical condition finally pushes her to stop hiding her feelings.
The strongest moment is Nayanika’s confession that she loves Ishaan. She refuses to choose between her professional duty, the man she loves, and her daughter. Her stand also makes it clear that she is no longer willing to let everyone else dictate her life.
Ujjaini’s ultimatum adds another emotional layer to the story. She is not merely angry with Nayanika for going to Ishaan; she feels abandoned by her mother. At the same time, Nayanika’s decision shows that she does not want to lose her daughter either.
The upcoming partial memory loss track could completely change the equation between Nayanika and Ishaan. If Ishaan forgets important parts of their relationship, Nayanika may have to face another painful battle just when she has finally admitted what she truly feels.
