Sairaab 14th August 2026 Written Update: Nayanika Saves Ishaan, Ujjaini Struggles With Her Mother’s Love
The episode begins with Nayanika reaching the hospital as Ishaan continues to battle for his life. A journalist immediately approaches her and questions her about Ishaan’s condition. Nayanika says that she does not know the latest details because she has just arrived from home.
The journalist reminds her that she performed Ishaan’s surgery and asks whether he is facing complications because of the procedure. Nayanika firmly says that her surgery was successful. She explains that sometimes a patient’s body does not respond to medicines or treatment as expected. She then goes inside the hospital.
Meanwhile, the doctor updates Maria and Bishu about Ishaan’s condition. He confirms that the surgery was successful, but Ishaan’s condition remains serious because he seems to have lost the will to survive. Maria anxiously asks whether Ishaan will make it.
The doctor explains that Ishaan can become stable once his body begins accepting the blood.
Shisho Tries to Make Ujjaini Understand Nayanika
At home, Ujjaini breaks down in tears.
Shisho tries to calm her and reminds her that she already has a fever. He asks her to understand that she cannot force Nayanika to make every decision according to her wishes.
Ujjaini admits that she is deeply hurt, but Shisho asks why she feels so much pain whenever Nayanika makes a decision for herself. He reminds Ujjaini that she can still stand in front of Neil and that she has a bright future ahead.
Shisho then makes Ujjaini face an uncomfortable truth.
He tells her that Nayanika has spent her entire life dedicating herself to Ujjaini, but now Ujjaini is thinking only about her own pain. He asks her to look at Nayanika’s suffering as well.
Shisho explains that nobody can force another person’s heart to stop loving someone.
Ujjaini remains unconvinced. She says she will never understand Nayanika’s decision because, from her perspective, her mother has left her and gone to Ishaan.
Maria Tries to Stop Nayanika
At the hospital, Maria asks Bishu to send Nayanika away.
Nayanika refuses to leave. She reminds Maria that she is a doctor at the hospital and that she performed Ishaan’s surgery. Therefore, she has a professional responsibility towards him.
Maria warns Nayanika not to go near Ishaan.
Nayanika remains firm and walks away to perform her duty.
Bishu tries to calm Maria down and tells her that he trusts Nayanika’s medical abilities.
Meanwhile, Ujjaini tells Shisho that her friends are making fun of Nayanika because of the viral sindoor photograph.
Shisho advises her to stay away from such friends and boycott them if necessary.
Ujjaini refuses, explaining that she has already experienced similar humiliation when Neil left her and Nayanika.
Shisho reassures her that he is there for her, but Ujjaini says that she still feels lonely.
She regrets that she could not stop Nayanika from going to Ishaan.
Ujjaini then questions how Nayanika can love Ishaan when he is younger than her.

Nayanika Gives Ishaan a Reason to Fight

Jaya believes that Nayanika will eventually think about Ujjaini.
Angana disagrees and says that Nayanika is no longer thinking about Ujjaini.
Neil becomes emotional seeing Ujjaini suffer.
He asks his father whether he is still going to allow Nayanika to stay in their house.
His father firmly says that Nayanika cannot continue staying there.
Neil immediately suggests that they should send Nayanika away and allow Ujjaini to stay with him instead.
The family situation becomes increasingly tense as Nayanika’s decision threatens to permanently change her relationship with Ujjaini.
Ishaan Comes Out of Danger
At the hospital, Nayanika receives good news.
She tells Bishu that Ishaan’s body has finally started accepting the blood and that he is now out of danger.
Maria remains unhappy.
She again asks Nayanika to stay away from Ishaan.
Nayanika calmly tells her that she will come whenever Ishaan is in trouble. However, she makes it clear that she will not interfere when he is happy and healthy.
Maria says that she wants Ishaan to marry a good girl.
Nayanika gives her a fitting response. She says that before thinking about Ishaan’s marriage, Maria should first make sure that Ishaan accepts her.
Maria becomes furious and accuses Nayanika of interfering in her family’s matters.
Nayanika remains firm in her decision.
The episode ends with the emotional conflict between Nayanika, Ujjaini and the rest of the family reaching another level.

Her decision to approach him as a doctor is understandable, but her emotional confession makes it clear that her feelings for him go far beyond professional responsibility.
The most touching scene is Nayanika urging Ishaan to fight for his life. After being told that he has seemingly lost the will to survive, Ishaan finally responds to her voice and opens his eyes. It creates a powerful emotional payoff.
Shisho also deserves credit for trying to make Ujjaini understand that loving her mother does not mean Nayanika has to sacrifice her own life. Ujjaini’s insecurity is understandable, but she is increasingly becoming possessive about Nayanika’s choices.
The upcoming memory-loss track could completely change the equation. If Ishaan no longer remembers Nayanika, she may have to fight not only against the family but also against the possibility that their shared past has disappeared from his mind.
