Sairaab 15th August 2026 Written Update: Ishaan Loses His Memory, Nayanika Decides to Leave the House
The episode begins with Nayanika telling Bishu that she understands Ishaan’s family problems and can therefore offer some suggestions. Bishu asks her whether she has decided not to return to Mumbai. Nayanika says she has chosen to live without Ishaan for now and stay away from him for the sake of her daughter, Ujjaini.
However, Nayanika refuses to predict what the future holds. She says nobody knows what can happen tomorrow. Bishu calls Ujjaini selfish, but Nayanika defends her daughter. She explains that children can sometimes become selfish, and that does not necessarily make them bad.
Nayanika then connects Ujjaini’s behaviour with Ishaan’s situation. She says Ishaan has also not accepted Maria because of his own emotional struggles. Nayanika admits that she made mistakes with Ishaan and does not want to repeat Maria’s mistakes.
Bishu tells Nayanika that Ishaan becomes helpless without her. Nayanika admits that she knows this, but says a person cannot have everything in a single lifetime.
Maria asks whether they can meet Ishaan. Nayanika explains that the doctors will shift him to a regular room once he regains consciousness.
Rusha Defends Nayanika
Meanwhile, Rusha tells everyone that she does not believe Ujjaini can give Neil the place of a father in her life.
She taunts Angana, who becomes upset by the remarks. Angana tells Neil that she is being insulted while he remains silent. Neil reminds her that this is exactly why he had asked her not to come there.
Rusha refuses to remain silent. She tells Angana that she has no right to taunt Nayanika.
Rusha accepts that Nayanika has made mistakes, but says nobody has the right to judge her without understanding everything she has gone through. She reminds the family of everything Nayanika and Ujjaini had to endure after Neil cheated on Nayanika.
Ishaan Regains Consciousness
At the hospital, Bishu asks Dr. Ray when Ishaan can be taken home.
Dr. Ray explains that Ishaan still needs to remain under observation. They can discuss his discharge the following day.
Maria asks whether Ishaan will recover completely.
Dr. Ray explains that recovery will take time because the surgery was complicated. He also warns that Ishaan could experience side effects, including partial memory loss.
Meanwhile, Ishaan finally opens his eyes.
Bishu becomes emotional and starts talking to him about Nayanika.
But Ishaan’s reaction leaves everyone stunned.
He asks Bishu, “Who is Nayanika?”
The revelation suggests that Ishaan’s memory may have been severely affected by his condition.
Nayanika Is Asked To Leave
Nayanika returns home, only to face another confrontation.
Indrani’s husband asks her to make a promise and follow the family’s rules. Neil also insists that everyone must follow those rules and tells Nayanika that she will have to leave the house if she refuses.
Nayanika explains that she is staying there for Ujjaini. She therefore asks Ujjaini what she wants.
Ujjaini tells her mother to follow Grandpa’s condition.
She makes it clear that Ishaan cannot have a place in Nayanika’s life.
Nayanika immediately says that she cannot promise that.
Grandpa then tells Nayanika that she should leave the house if she refuses to follow their decision.
Nayanika turns to Ujjaini and asks whether this is really her daughter’s decision too.
Ujjaini confirms that she has already made her decision.
Nayanika is heartbroken but remains firm. She tells them that if Ishaan is ever in trouble, she will go to him.
Neil questions why she would do that.
Nayanika gives him a straightforward answer—because she loves Ishaan.
Indrani is shocked by her statement and asks whether Nayanika is not ashamed. Shreya also tells Nayanika to control her emotions.
Rusha, however, understands that Nayanika is being pushed into an impossible situation. She tells Nayanika to leave because the insults are not going to stop.
Nayanika finally agrees.
She says she will leave the house, but she needs some time. She also tells Ujjaini that she will return sometime to meet her.
Ujjaini refuses to meet her and walks inside.
Ujjaini And Nayanika’s Emotional Confrontation
Later, Nayanika asks Ujjaini whether she has taken her medicine.
Ujjaini coldly tells her that Nayanika has lost the right to ask such questions.
Nayanika asks whether Ujjaini can really live without her.
Ujjaini questions why she cannot live without Nayanika when Nayanika herself is apparently ready to live without her.
Nayanika is deeply hurt by her words.
She reminds Ujjaini that she never said she wanted to live without her. It was Ujjaini who asked her to leave.
Ujjaini then reveals the real reason behind her decision. She says she simply cannot share her mother with anyone else.
The painful exchange leaves Nayanika speechless.
The episode ends with the relationship between mother and daughter reaching another breaking point, even as Ishaan’s memory loss creates an entirely new complication in Nayanika’s life.
Precap
Sunidhi informs Nayanika that Ishaan has lost his memories. Nayanika meets Ishaan, but he fails to recognise her and calls her “Ma’am.” Nayanika is left completely shattered by his reaction.
Review
This episode takes the emotional conflict between Nayanika and Ujjaini to another level. Nayanika’s decision to stay away from Ishaan for her daughter’s sake shows how much she is willing to sacrifice, but Ujjaini’s refusal to share her with anyone makes the situation heartbreaking.
The biggest twist, however, is Ishaan’s memory loss. After everything Nayanika went through to save him, the possibility that he no longer remembers her makes her sacrifice even more painful.
The upcoming track could become particularly emotional as Nayanika is forced to watch the man she loves treat her like a stranger.
