Yeh Fitoor Tera 15th August 2026 Written Update: Soumya Becomes Jeet’s Proxy Writer, Anup Turns Against His Daughter
The episode begins with Soumya informing Sanjiv that she has decided to become Jeet’s proxy writer. She explains that anyone can volunteer for the responsibility and she has willingly chosen to help Jeet complete his examination.
Jeet immediately asks Soumya to leave, insisting that he does not need her help. However, Soumya refuses to back down. She takes the pen from Jeet and starts writing for him. She tells him that only 45 minutes are left and asks him to dictate his answers.
Jeet finally begins answering the questions while Soumya writes. Everyone around them is left stunned by her decision, especially because she has openly chosen to go against the wishes of her family and the college authorities.
Shaurya tells Pakhi that Soumya will have to face the consequences of her decision. Meanwhile, Sanjiv becomes worried when he realises that Jeet might actually pass the examination with Soumya’s assistance. He begins thinking of a way to stop them.
Roop’s Grand Jagrata
Meanwhile, preparations begin for the Mata Ka Jagrata. Roop makes a huge donation for the event and is set to receive an honour during the celebration.
Anup reminds everyone that the occasion is even more special because it is Roop’s 50th birthday. The family prepares for the celebrations, but the atmosphere soon changes when Sanjiv arrives with some troubling news for Anup.
At the college, Soumya continues writing Jeet’s examination. After writing continuously for a long time, her fingers begin hurting. Despite the pain, she refuses to stop.
Just then, Anup enters the Dean’s cabin.
Soumya is shocked to see him and immediately becomes nervous.
Meanwhile, Shaurya starts spreading a rumour that Soumya is actually Jeet’s girlfriend. The gossip leaves Sanjiv deeply disappointed and makes the situation even more complicated.
Soumya runs after Anup while Jeet eventually submits his examination paper.
Jeet remains confident and tells Sanjiv that he will score 100 out of 100. However, Sanjiv warns him that he is destroying Soumya’s life by involving her in the matter.
Anup Is Furious With Soumya
Later, Ridhan learns from Pakhi that Soumya has completely gone against everyone.
At home, Uma asks Soumya to wear a blue dress for the Jagrata. But Anup tells Uma that Soumya will no longer listen to them.
Anup then reveals the truth to everyone—Soumya helped Jeet during the examination.
He loses his temper and lashes out at his daughter. Anup tells Soumya that she has humiliated him in front of everyone and that he never expected her to take such a decision.
Roop tries to calm Anup down, but he is deeply hurt because his expectations from Soumya have been shattered.
Uma also gets another opportunity to taunt Soumya.
However, Soumya finally speaks up.
She tells everyone that Jeet has actually saved her.
Dadi supports Soumya and tells Ridhan that she believes Soumya has done the right thing. Ridhan feels proud of Soumya because she has shown the courage to stand up for what she believes is right.
Soumya is about to explain everything, but Madhu changes the topic and brings up Shaurya’s ragging.
She explains that Jeet had saved Soumya from humiliation and had also helped Ridhan. Her revelation forces everyone to look at the situation differently.
Soumya then reminds Anup about the first teaching of the Geeta. She explains that the Geeta gave her the courage to stand beside what she believes is the truth.
Madhu also defends Soumya, but Uma questions whether Shaurya’s actions were really just harmless ragging or something more serious.
Ridhan Defends Soumya
Nita tells Ridhan that the family should be ashamed because Soumya has gone against everyone.
Ridhan strongly disagrees.
He tells Nita that instead of criticising Soumya, she should learn something from her courage. Soumya has chosen to stand by what she believes is right despite knowing that her family may turn against her.
Later, Nita tells Dadi that Jeet means nothing to their family.
Dadi reminds her that Jeet saved Ridhan from Shaurya. She points out that Ridhan is standing in front of them today because Jeet stepped in when he needed help.
Nita is left stunned by the revelation.
Anup Gives Soumya A Strict Ultimatum
Anup eventually confronts Soumya again.
He asks her why she never told him about the ragging incident if Jeet had actually saved her.
However, instead of understanding her, Anup gives her a strict condition.
He tells Soumya that she will only be allowed to return to college after Jeet leaves the college.
Soumya is left heartbroken by his decision.
Meanwhile, Jeet also confronts Soumya. He tells her that she has humiliated him by helping him and has made it appear as though Jeet is more important to her than her own father.
Anup then reminds Soumya that this is not the first time she has disappointed him. He brings up the earlier incident when she refused to learn Sangeet from Roop and demands to know why she keeps making decisions that go against his wishes.
Soumya remains silent.
She knows that explaining herself may not change Anup’s mind, yet she also refuses to regret helping Jeet when he genuinely needed someone to stand beside him.
The episode ends with Soumya caught between her father’s expectations and her own conscience.

Review
This episode gives Soumya a strong emotional moment as she finally chooses truth over fear. Her decision to become Jeet’s proxy writer could easily have been portrayed as simple rebellion, but the episode connects it to everything Jeet has previously done for her.
Anup’s anger is understandable from a father’s perspective, especially because he feels that Soumya has publicly gone against him. However, his decision to stop her from returning to college until Jeet leaves creates an even bigger conflict.
The most interesting part is Ridhan and Dadi recognising the truth behind Soumya’s actions. Meanwhile, Jeet’s reminder that Soumya has placed him above Anup adds another emotional complication to their relationship.
The upcoming episodes should focus heavily on whether Anup finally learns what Jeet did for Soumya and whether Soumya will reveal the complete truth about Shaurya.
