Mannat 16th August 2026 Written Update: Vikrant Pretends to Lose His Memory as His Plan Against Dhairya Begins

The episode begins with Mannat arranging photographs to help Vikrant remember his past. Ronny hopes their plan will work and that Vikrant will finally regain his memory. Mannat remains confident that everything will go well.

However, Dhairya watches the preparations and thinks Mannat should not keep her expectations too high because her plan will fail.

Meanwhile, Vikrant secretly watches everything from upstairs. He thinks it is finally time to teach his “bade bhai” Dhairya a lesson.

Mannat Tries to Bring Back Vikrant’s Memories

Mallika asks Dhairya to help Mannat with the plan. She then asks Yashika to bring Vikrant downstairs.

Vikrant comes down and looks at the photographs.

He deliberately pretends that he cannot remember anything.

Ronny explains that they are using the time available to help Vikrant remember that he is actually Vikrant.

Dhairya immediately objects. He says that forcing Vikrant’s brain to remember things could be harmful and that they should allow him to recover naturally.

Mannat refuses to give up. She says they are simply trying their best and asks everyone to remain positive.

She then asks everyone to sit down and starts playing a video on the projector.

Mannat Reminds Vikrant of Their Love Story

The video features special moments from Mannat and Vikrant’s relationship.

A voice-over recalls how they first met, the hurdles they faced, the misunderstandings that separated them and how Mannat eventually went to Indore.

Mannat explains that Dua, their daughter, ultimately became the reason they found their way back to each other.

Dhairya becomes increasingly tense while listening to their story.

Mannat then reminds Vikrant that they remarried before Dhairya went on a mission. She tells him that Vikrant disappeared on the very same night.

She asks Vikrant where he had gone.

Vikrant deliberately acts as if he is beginning to remember something.

Mannat moves closer to him and asks him to pretend that he has remembered something.

Before the situation can go further, Dhairya interrupts.

He says that enough has been done for the day and Vikrant should be allowed to rest.

Vikrant Attacks Dhairya

Suddenly, Vikrant launches himself at Dhairya and starts strangling him.

Everyone is shocked.

Mannat cannot understand why Vikrant is behaving this way when this was not part of their plan.

The family members try to separate the two men, but Vikrant refuses to let go.

Just then, Dua returns home.

She sees her father attacking Dhairya and asks why Papa is hurting Baba.

Vikrant finally releases Dhairya.

He then collapses and pretends to lose consciousness.

Mannat immediately holds him and asks someone to bring water.

Vikrant secretly opens one eye and gestures to Mannat that he is fine.

Mannat understands that he is deliberately acting and feels relieved.

She sends the children away with Ronny so that they do not become more frightened.

Mannat Explains Vikrant’s Behaviour to the Children

Later, Mannat goes to the children’s room.

Dua asks her why Papa attacked Baba.

Mannat reassures the children that Vikrant has still not completely recovered his memories. She explains that he may have reacted because of the confusion in his mind.

She tells them that their Papa will recover soon.

Dua accepts her explanation.

Meanwhile, Mannat returns to Vikrant’s room and asks him to open his eyes.

Dhairya enters and asks whether Vikrant is okay.

Mannat tells him that Vikrant still has not opened his eyes.

Ronny admits that he does not understand why Vikrant suddenly attacked Dhairya.

Mannat says that she saw hatred in Vikrant’s eyes when he attacked Dhairya, but she cannot understand what caused such a strong reaction.

Dhairya Tries to Cover His Fear

Dhairya quickly uses the situation to protect himself.

He claims that Vikrant is suffering from a neurological problem and therefore nobody should take anything he says seriously, even if he starts speaking about the past.

Suddenly, Vikrant kicks Dhairya while pretending to be unconscious.

Dhairya is startled but immediately tries to cover up his reaction.

He tells everyone to see how strangely Vikrant is behaving even while asleep.

Dhairya then says that Vikrant needs complete rest.

Everyone eventually leaves the room.

Once he is alone, Vikrant opens his eyes.

His expression changes completely.

He thinks about Dhairya and becomes determined to expose his truth as soon as possible.

Vikrant’s Mission Against Dhairya

Meanwhile, Mannat tells Ronny not to lose hope.

She assures him that Vikrant will remember everything.

Mannat says that within the next seven days, Vikrant will return to normal and Ronny will finally get his son back.

Ronny becomes emotional and says that he hopes Mannat’s confidence proves right.

At the same time, Vikrant continues preparing himself for the battle ahead. His attack on Dhairya was not a random reaction; it appears to be the first major step in his attempt to make Dhairya nervous and expose him.

The episode ends with Vikrant secretly determined to uncover Dhairya’s truth while everyone else remains unaware that he has already started fighting back.

Precap

Dhairya’s next move puts both Vikrant and Mannat in danger when their car meets with an accident.

Review

This episode finally gives Vikrant a strong opportunity to take control of the situation. The best part is that he does not immediately reveal that he has understood everything. Instead, he cleverly continues pretending to have memory problems while using Dhairya’s own fear against him.

The attack on Dhairya is particularly effective because it leaves everyone confused. Dhairya tries to use Vikrant’s supposed neurological condition as an excuse, but Vikrant’s sudden kick makes it clear that the game is becoming increasingly unpredictable.

Mannat’s determination also remains the emotional backbone of the episode. Her belief that Vikrant will recover within seven days gives the track a clear countdown, while the precap raises the stakes considerably with the accident.

Overall, the episode moves the Dhairya-Vikrant confrontation forward nicely and sets up a dangerous next phase.

Rating: 4.2/5
