Sairaab 16th August 2026 Written Update: Nayanika Faces Ishaan’s Memory Loss, Ujjaini Rejects Her Mother’s New Life
The episode begins with Ujjaini making her feelings clear to Nayanika. She says that she has already told her mother that she cannot share her with anyone. Nayanika assures Ujjaini that she has never given anyone the love that belongs to her daughter and will never do so in the future either. However, she asks Ujjaini to understand her situation with humanity, especially as a woman and a doctor.
Ujjaini refuses to accept Nayanika’s new life. She questions whether Nayanika does not feel ashamed of wanting love and care from someone else and asks whether her daughter’s love was not enough for her.
Nayanika tells Ujjaini that she is her everything, but she also has needs and desires as a woman. She questions whether accepting Ishaan’s love was really a sin. She reminds Ujjaini that she never married Ishaan.
Ujjaini sarcastically points out that Nayanika even applied sindoor in Ishaan’s name and asks what else is left. Nayanika gets hurt by her daughter’s words and reminds Ujjaini that she is talking to her mother.
Ujjaini says that Nayanika’s behaviour has changed her way of speaking as well. She asks Nayanika to leave.
Nayanika tries to explain that Mini, Romeo and Rohan do not think she has done anything wrong. Ujjaini dismisses their opinions, saying that they are not Nayanika’s children and therefore do not get affected by her decisions in the same way.
Ujjaini Rejects Nayanika
Nayanika asks Ujjaini what wrong she has actually done.
Ujjaini angrily tells her that she is romancing a man who is almost half her age and that the photograph of Nayanika wearing sindoor in Ishaan’s name has already gone viral.
She tells Nayanika that their relationship will never be the same again.
Ujjaini once again asks her mother to leave because she does not want to see her face.
Nayanika is deeply hurt by Ujjaini’s rejection. She tells her daughter that she will leave, but she needs a few days to make the arrangements.
The emotional confrontation leaves Nayanika heartbroken.
Ishaan Wants to Leave the Hospital
The next day, Ishaan asks Sunidhi when he will be discharged.
Sunidhi tells him that the senior doctors will decide when he is ready to leave. She also informs him that his band members and Nayanika have come to meet him.
Ishaan asks Sunidhi to send his band members to his room.
Soon, Ishaan meets his band members. He tells them that he wants to go home.
Krish becomes emotional and says that he is relieved to see Ishaan doing well. He tells Ishaan that his fans prayed for him and constantly wished for his recovery.
Ishaan says he believes that he survived because of the love and prayers of his fans.
Meanwhile, Bishu tries to convince Maria to meet Ishaan.
Maria refuses. She says that knowing Ishaan is safe and recovering is enough for her.
However, Maria remains worried about Nayanika’s presence in Ishaan’s life. She asks Bishu to keep Nayanika away from Ishaan.
Bishu tells Maria that he knows Nayanika is a kind-hearted person.
Maria insists that Nayanika will never marry Ishaan and asks Bishu to be strict with her.
Bishu does not completely agree with her concerns. He feels that Ishaan is not even talking about Nayanika and may simply be angry with her.
Maria leaves.
Ishaan Calls Nayanika “Ma’am”
Nayanika finally enters Ishaan’s room.
She asks him how he is feeling.
Ishaan looks at her and addresses her as “Ma’am.”
Nayanika is stunned.
She immediately wonders whether Ishaan is suffering from partial memory loss.
Nayanika tells him that she is Nayanika.
Ishaan says that Sunidhi told him that Nayanika was the doctor who treated him. He asks her to arrange his discharge as soon as possible because he feels that the accident has already wasted enough of his time.
He says that he wants to return to his music.
Nayanika is deeply shaken by his behaviour, but she decides not to pressure him.
She simply assures Ishaan that she will make sure he gets discharged as soon as possible.
Ishaan thanks her.
Nayanika quietly leaves the room.
However, Ishaan’s expression changes once she is gone.
He thinks about how much Nayanika made him cry and feels that now it is her turn to experience the same pain.
The episode ends on this emotional twist, with Nayanika realising that the Ishaan she knew may no longer remember their relationship.

Ishaan gives gifts to Nayanika just like he gives them to everyone else. He asks whether she is expecting a special gift from him.
Ishaan tells Nayanika that she simply fulfilled her duty as a doctor and therefore should not expect anything special from him.
