Yeh Fitoor Tera 16th August 2026 Written Update: Jeet Discovers Soumya’s Painful Past, Roop’s Shocking Truth Comes Out
The episode begins with Roop asking Anup to let the matter go, reminding him that Soumya was only a child at that time and perhaps she never wanted to learn music. Roop then tells Soumya that she should share everything with her family so that they can decide what action needs to be taken.
Madhu notices that Soumya is trembling with nervousness. Soumya reminds Roop that she is speaking to her father, but the situation leaves Anup disappointed. He does not want his brother to be humiliated in front of everyone.
Meanwhile, Jeet talks to his Nani about Soumya. He says that she is a unique girl who is currently facing an emotional outburst from her own family.
Soumya Struggles With Her Pain
Soumya remains disturbed by everything that has happened.
Madhu asks Anup to forget the entire matter, but Anup says that simply forgetting it will not change how he feels. Madhu questions him about pretending to be unaffected when he is clearly hurt.
Soumya becomes even more emotional when she sees Anup going to sleep without eating.
Later, Jeet approaches Soumya and asks her to eat something. Soumya refuses.
Jeet calls her a stupid girl and points out that she always seeks her parents’ permission before taking any major decision. He then questions why she went against everyone to help him during the examination.
Soumya says that she simply cannot tolerate injustice.
Jeet begins to suspect that there is something deeper behind her reaction. He feels that Soumya may have experienced something similar in the past.
Soumya asks Jeet to leave before her father sees them.
Jeet takes the food thali from her hands and observes her carefully. He realises that Soumya is hiding something extremely painful from everyone.
Soumya Follows Roop and Pihu
The next morning, Soumya waits for Anup at the breakfast table.
She tells him that she has prepared his favourite chura matar, hoping to make things normal between them. However, Anup refuses to listen and walks away.
Soumya is heartbroken.
Soon after, she notices Roop holding Pihu’s hand and taking her somewhere as a surprise.
The sight immediately reminds Soumya of her own childhood. She remembers how Roop used to take her somewhere when she was young.
Soumya becomes suspicious and fears that history may repeat itself with Pihu.
She immediately runs after them.
Jeet Meets Anup
Meanwhile, Jeet arrives at Anup’s clinic because he wants to speak to him.
Anup tells the receptionist that he does not want to meet Jeet.
However, Jeet refuses to leave.
He waits patiently and confidently tells the receptionist that Dr. Anup will call him inside within two minutes.
Anup watches Jeet through the CCTV camera.
Suddenly, Jeet begins unbuttoning his shirt and eventually removes it.
Anup is shocked by his behaviour. He immediately calls Jeet inside and tells him to put his shirt back on.
Jeet then reveals that he has passed the examination.
He jokingly tells Anup that he will now get even more female patients, but Anup is not amused.
Anup tells Jeet that Soumya had mentioned how he helped her.
He then gets serious and asks Jeet to stay away from his daughter.
Jeet Makes a Condition
Jeet agrees that he will not talk to Soumya anymore, but he has one condition.
He asks Anup to normalise things with Soumya and allow her to return to college.
Jeet tells Anup that his silence and anger are hurting Soumya even more.
Anup reminds Jeet that he is a doctor and understands pain, but he is also Soumya’s father. He knows his daughter is extremely soft-hearted and wants to protect her at any cost.
Anup asks Jeet to leave the locality and start a new life somewhere else.
Jeet listens to him but does not appear ready to simply walk away.
Soumya Discovers the Truth About Pihu
Meanwhile, Soumya desperately searches for Pihu.
She suddenly remembers something from her childhood.
Roop had once taken her to a music shop when she was young.
Soumya realises that Roop may have taken Pihu to the same place.
She rushes there.
When Soumya reaches the music shop, she finds Roop and Pihu inside.
She is horrified when she sees the situation unfolding exactly as she feared.
Roop asks Pihu to take the harmonium.
The sight brings back Soumya’s painful childhood memories and leaves her completely shaken.
The episode ends with Soumya staring at the scene, realising that the past she desperately tried to escape may now be repeating itself with Pihu.

Jeet learns about Soumya’s traumatic past and discovers that Roop had assaulted Soumya multiple times. He is left completely shocked after finally understanding the real reason behind Soumya’s pain.
