Bareilly Ke Bacchan 17th August 2026 Written Update: Krishna Finds Sangam, While His Job Loss Creates a New Problem
The episode begins with the Bacchan brothers desperately searching for Sangam after she suddenly leaves the house. Krishna is particularly worried and keeps looking around for her.
During the search, Krishna spots a girl wearing a white dress and immediately assumes that she is Sangam. He rushes towards her, only to realise that he has mistaken someone else for her. Krishna feels disappointed but refuses to give up and continues searching.
Meanwhile, Satluj meets Chotu and immediately asks him whether he has seen Sangam. He informs Chotu that Sangam has gone missing and asks him to look around for her. Chotu agrees to help the family.
Krishna takes out Sangam’s photograph and starts showing it to people on the road. He asks passersby whether they have seen her anywhere. Everyone is curious about what has happened, but Krishna refuses to explain the situation and simply continues asking them about Sangam.
His search becomes even more difficult when his bike stops working. With no other option, Krishna leaves the bike behind and continues searching for Sangam on foot.
The search for Sangam continues
At the same time, Pooja helps Ganga search for Sangam in the neighbourhood. The family is becoming increasingly anxious because nobody knows where Sangam has gone.
Aarti also meets Satluj and asks him what he is doing there at that hour. Satluj asks her whether she has seen Sangam.
Aarti is shocked to learn that Sangam is missing. She immediately offers to help Satluj find her.
The two begin searching together.
Meanwhile, Ajab is sleeping when he suddenly shouts in his sleep and tells Mahi that he is hungry. Mahi comments on his condition and decides that instead of wasting time, she should go out and search for Sangam herself.
Satluj and Aarti eventually separate so that they can cover different areas and increase their chances of finding Sangam.
Susheela wants Sangam back home
Elsewhere, Susheela discusses Sangam’s situation with Raghuvendra.
She suggests that they should call Sangam back to the house by using her certificates as an excuse. However, Raghuvendra remains firm and says that he does not want Sangam to enter the house.
Susheela becomes emotional and tells him that if Sangam is not allowed to return, she will take her own life.
Hema immediately asks Susheela not to speak like that.
Susheela, however, says that she does not know what else she can do when her family refuses to accept Sangam.
Raghuvendra argues that Sangam has chosen her own path and must now face the consequences of her decision.
Nirgun then reminds Raghuvendra of his own previous stand.
He points out that Raghuvendra had earlier refused to allow Sangam back into the house unless Vicky agreed to marry her. Now that Vicky has agreed to the marriage, there is no reason to keep Sangam away.
Nirgun suggests that they should bring Sangam home and arrange the marriage.
After thinking about the situation, Raghuvendra finally agrees to allow Sangam to enter the house.
Krishna finally finds Sangam
Meanwhile, the Bacchan brothers continue their search but keep missing Sangam.
Ganga and Satluj eventually decide to check the hospitals in case Sangam has met with an accident or fallen ill.
Just when the family’s worry is reaching its peak, Krishna finally finds Sangam.
He is visibly relieved to see her safe.
Krishna immediately asks her where she had gone and why she suddenly disappeared without informing anyone.
Sangam explains that she had gone to Shanti’s house because they have an inverter there. Her phone battery had died, so she went there to charge it as well.
Krishna tells her how worried everyone had been and explains that they had been desperately searching for her.
He then asks Sangam whether Ajab had troubled her.
Sangam admits that she felt awkward because Ajab had been drinking alcohol. She says he had also talked a lot while he was intoxicated.
Krishna becomes furious after hearing this.
Krishna confronts Ajab
Krishna returns home and finds Ajab sleeping.
Without wasting any time, he pours water over Ajab’s face and wakes him up.
Krishna angrily confronts him for drinking alcohol while Sangam was staying in the house.
He tells Ajab that he should not drink when Sangam is around because his behaviour had made her uncomfortable.
Ajab argues with Krishna and tells him that he never asked Sangam to drink alcohol.
Krishna realises that arguing with Ajab is pointless.
Instead of continuing the fight, he walks away.
Krishna reveals his biggest problem
The next day, Krishna surprises Ganga and Satluj by offering to help Ganga wash clothes.
Both of them immediately notice that something is unusual.
Krishna normally does not volunteer to help with household chores, so they ask him what has happened.
Krishna finally reveals the truth.
He has lost his job.
The revelation leaves Satluj shocked.
Satluj immediately confronts Krishna and questions him about the situation. The conversation becomes tense as Krishna tries to deal with the consequences of losing his job.
Unfortunately, Sangam is nearby and overhears the conversation.
She learns that Krishna is now unemployed, leaving her worried about what this new problem could mean for him and the family.
The episode ends with Sangam silently processing the shocking revelation.

Our Take
This episode nicely balances the emotional tension surrounding Sangam with a new problem for Krishna.
The opening portion works because the entire Bacchan family genuinely panics after Sangam disappears. Krishna’s repeated attempts to find her, including showing her photograph to strangers and continuing his search even after his bike stops working, highlight how concerned he has become about her.
The conversation between Susheela and Raghuvendra also marks an important development. Raghuvendra finally agrees to allow Sangam back into the house after Nirgun reminds him that Vicky has accepted the marriage. This could potentially open the door for Sangam’s relationship with her family to change.
However, the bigger twist comes at the end. Krishna losing his job could create serious complications, especially because Sangam overhears the conversation. Krishna was already struggling with the consequences of his lies, and now financial insecurity may put even more pressure on him.
Ajab’s drinking also continues to create tension. Krishna’s anger makes it clear that he does not want Sangam to feel uncomfortable or unsafe in the house.
