Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 16th August 2026 Written Update: Karan Feels Helpless

The episode begins with Samaira finally feeling relieved after the emotional turmoil surrounding her relationship with Sid. Believing that everything has finally worked out, she hugs Karan happily. Meanwhile, Tripti encourages Sid to call Samaira and find out what happened.

When Sid calls her, Samaira gives him the news he has been desperately waiting for. She tells him that Karan has agreed to their marriage and that the families can now begin discussing the wedding. Sid becomes extremely happy and hugs Tripti, thanking her for standing by him throughout the difficult situation.

However, behind Tripti’s comforting smile lies a completely different intention. She is secretly pleased that her plan is moving exactly the way she wanted. Her acceptance of Sid and Samaira’s relationship is not simply about their happiness. Tripti has a much bigger and more dangerous motive, and this victory is only the beginning of her plan.

Karan feels helpless after agreeing to Samaira and Sid’s marriage

Meanwhile, Karan is unable to accept what has happened. He recalls how Tripti blackmailed him and how Sid and Samaira’s relationship was exposed in front of everyone. He feels that circumstances left him with no choice but to agree to their marriage.

Karan opens up to Nandini about his pain. He questions how his own daughter could choose the son of the family that he considers his biggest enemy. He says that a parent can fight the entire world for their children, but becomes helpless when the battle is against their own children.

Nandini asks Karan whether he genuinely agreed to the marriage. Karan makes it clear that he was forced into accepting the relationship because he had no other option. Tulsi quietly watches Karan’s emotional breakdown.

Karan also insists that despite everything, he has never betrayed Tulsi or broken her trust. Nandini tries to calm him down and asks him to stop thinking about the situation and get some rest.

However, Nandini herself is carrying a dark secret. Once Karan leaves, she is reminded of the painful truth surrounding Parth’s death, leaving her emotionally disturbed.

Samaira remains confused about her future

Garima leaves Samaira alone so that she can process everything that has happened. Although Samaira is happy that Karan has finally agreed to her marriage with Sid, she is still emotionally overwhelmed by the pressure surrounding the relationship.

The situation becomes complicated because neither family has truly accepted the alliance wholeheartedly. Samaira is still unaware of the dangerous intentions behind Tripti’s sudden support.

Tripti manipulates Sid’s family

Meanwhile, Subha confronts Tripti over hiding the truth about Sid and Samaira. He is furious that such a major matter was kept secret from the family. He insists that their family may never accept Samaira because of everything that has happened in the past.

Tripti, however, calmly handles the situation. She tells Subha that they should stop holding on to old grudges and instead think about the future. She convinces him that the Virani family may not be as bad as he believes and that Samaira could eventually become a good addition to their family.

Subha slowly falls for Tripti’s reasoning and begins to soften towards Samaira and the relationship.

Tulsi gets a terrifying warning in her dream

Later, Tulsi experiences another disturbing nightmare. She sees Tripti burning Samaira alive after her marriage to Sid.

Tulsi wakes up screaming and terrified. Shobha immediately comes to comfort her. Tulsi tells Shobha about the nightmare and says that she cannot ignore the feeling that something terrible is about to happen.

She blames Samaira for hiding the truth and unknowingly walking straight into Tripti’s trap. Tulsi is convinced that Tripti is playing a dangerous game and that Samaira could become its biggest victim.

Shobha advises Tulsi not to remain silent. Tulsi decides that she must seek help from someone outside the family before the situation becomes uncontrollable.

Gautam and Sahil discuss Karan’s helplessness

Elsewhere, Gautam and Sahil discuss everything that has happened. Gautam feels sorry for Karan, pointing out how the man who was once so strict and powerful within his family has now become completely helpless because of his own daughter.

Sahil, however, takes a more balanced approach. He believes Sid is a sensible and caring person who genuinely loves Samaira and will protect her. He feels the family should not allow old rivalries to destroy the future of the younger generation.

Sahil accepts that the situation is far from perfect, but believes that the family will have to compromise and support Samaira while remaining cautious about the circumstances surrounding the marriage.

The episode ends with the family caught between old rivalries, new relationships and Tripti’s hidden agenda. While Sid and Samaira believe they have finally received Karan’s approval, Karan himself remains deeply unhappy with the decision. At the same time, Tulsi’s nightmare leaves her convinced that a much bigger danger is approaching.

Precap

Subha asks Karan whether he will attend the upcoming family event. Karan immediately refuses and says “No.” His blunt response leaves everyone stunned.
